Object tracking based on adaptive updating of a spatial-temporal context model

  • Recently, a tracking algorithm called the spatial-temporal context model has been proposed to locate a target by using the contextual information around the target. This model has achieved excellent results when the target undergoes slight occlusion and appearance changes. However, the target location in the current frame is based on the location in the previous frame, which will lead to failure in the presence of fast motion because of the lack of a prediction mechanism. In addition, the spatial context model is updated frame by frame, which will undoubtedly result in drift once the target is occluded continuously. This paper proposes two improvements to solve the above two problems: First, four possible positions of the target in the current frame are predicted based on the displacement between the previous two frames, and then, we calculate four confidence maps at these four positions; the target position is located at the position that corresponds to the maximum value. Second, we propose a target reliability criterion and design an adaptive threshold to regulate the updating speed of the model. Specifically, we stop updating the model when the reliability is lower than the threshold. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better tracking results than traditional STC and other algorithms.

용접 시험편의 디지털 방사선 검사에서 밝기 교정과 중첩 영상에 따른 SNR 및 SRb 비교 연구 (Comparison Research of SNR and SRb with Bright Calibration and Multi Frame Images in Digital Radiography of Welded Test Components)

  • 이 연구는 산업현장에서 구조물의 용접부 검사를 디지털 방사선을 이용한 비파괴검사를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있도록 디지털 방사선의 밝기 교정과 중첩 영상에 따른 신호 대 잡음 비와 기본 공간 분해능을 비교분석 하였다. 평판형 용접 시험편을 대상으로 75Se 방사선원을 사용하였고 촬영 전 밝기 교정과 영상 중첩을 세분화하여 총 130장의 영상을 획득하였다. 연구 결과, 밝기 교정의 수와 영상 중첩의 수가 증가할수록 신호 대 잡음 비가 향상됨을 확인하였다. 기본 공간 분해능은 촬영된 영상 모두 기준치를 만족하였다. 산란 방사선을 대비한 납 차폐를 설치 후 촬영한 영상을 비교하여 신호 대 잡음 비가 비슷함을 확인하였다. 영상 중첩이 증가할수록 신호 대 잡음 비가 증가하지만, 방사선의 노출시간이 증가하면서 작업자의 피폭 및 작업 효율에 영향을 미치기 때문에 적절한 촬영기법을 강구 한다면 좋은 상질의 디지털 방사선 영상을 획득 할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 본 논문은 전자 부품의 Soldring기에 사용되는 접합제를 Flux를 포함한 Solder paste 대신에 도금막을 이용하기 위한 Sn 도금막 형성 프로세스를 검토한 것이다. 반도체 Device를 Packaging한 외부단자(lead frame)과 HIC상의 후막전극(Ag/Pd)과의 접합 및 PCB상의 Cu land와의 접합시에는 스크린 프린트에 의한 Solder Paste가 일반적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 논문은 Fluxless Soldering의 한수단으로 도금막을 lead상에 형성시켜 접합 재료로서의 형성 프로세스 및 도금막의 특성과 도금형성 Paramete와의 관련성을 실험적으로 검토한 것으로 전류밀도 200 A/m$^{2}$의 조건으로 형성한 Sn 도금막이 접합용으로 최적조건임을 밝혔다.

Vibration analysis of steel frames with semi-rigid connections on an elastic foundation

  • An investigation on the combined effect of foundation type, foundation flexibility, axial load and PR (semi-rigid) connections on the natural frequencies of steel frames is presented. These effects were investigated using a suitable modified FE program for cases where the foundation flexibility, foundation connectivity, and semi-rigid connections could be treated as equivalent linear springs. The effect of axial load on the natural frequency of a structure was found to be significant for slender structures subjected to high axial loads. In general, if columns of medium slenderness are designed without consideration of axial load effects, the frequency of the structure will be overestimated. Studies on the 3-story Los Angeles PR SAC frame indicate that the assumption of rigid connections at beam-column and column-base interfaces, as well as the assumption of a rigid foundation, can lead to significant errors if simplified design procedures are used. These errors in an equivalent static analysis are expected to lead to even more serious problems when considering the effect of higher modes under a non-linear dynamic analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 지진하중 작용시, 점탄성 감쇠기 및 면진장치를 설치한 다층 철골 모멘트 저항 골조의 동적응답을 해석적으로 규명하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 구조해석을 수행하여 최대 층간변위 및 최대응력법에 의해 효율적인 점탄성 감쇠기의 위치를 결정하는 것이다. 또한, 효율적인 진동 제어방법을 모색하기 위하여 점탄성 감쇠기 및 납삽입고무베어링형 면진장치에 의한 제어효과를 부재력, 조합응력, 그리고 구조물의 고유주기 등을 이용하여 상호 비교 분석하였다.

  • The purposes of the research were to evaluate system performance and response of building structure under external load for full scale modal-testing-tower applied toggle bracing and lead rubber damper(LRD). The dynamic properties of the structure were measured before and after installing damper under harmonic excitation using the AMD and the results were compared. The harmonic excitation condition is to increase 0.01Hz sine sweep signal from 0.49Hz to 0.63Hz. As a result of measuring resonant frequency, before installing damper is 0.55Hz and after installing damper is 0.62Hz. The experimental results after installing damper were also distinguished from simulation results and the main cause of this results is temperature dependency property of rubber material.

  • This paper is to aim the microdefect evaluation of If package into a quantitative from NDI's image processing of ultrasonic wave. (1) Automatically repeated discrimination analysis method can be devided in the category of all kind of defects on IC package, and also can be possible to have a sampling of partial delamination. (2) It is possible that the information of edge section in silicon chip surrounding can be extractor by the partial image processing of IC package. Also, the crack detection is possible between the resin part and lead frame.

  • We present a new high-frequency equivalent circuit model for 52pin QFP used in typical IC's and extract R, L, and C values of this circuit model using a 3-D E & M field simulator. Futhermore, L and C value variations as a function of Pin number due to the shape differences of the leads have been fitted to 2nd order polynomials in order to extend the applicability of this model.

  • The paper reviews of the constructivist view of mathematics and mathematics education. First of all, we shall study how mathematics has been treated as an object of cognition in philosophy or cognitive theories, what is changed in modern mathematics. It can lead us to understand the constructivist perspective on mathematics. Secondly, we will examine the view, the teaching and learning principles of mathematics education based on constructivism. Didactic transposition theory will be used as a frame of reference for this examination.

  • The objective of this paper is to systematically establish the development of game software through the fusion of game implementation and component methodology. The development of game software has inconsistently accomplished without the consistent frame for the analysis and design of game development in the domestic environments. Therefore in case of the development of game software based on game component, although a lot of resources were required in the initial the accumulation of experience and the technology of reuse lead to the efficiency of the maintenance ultimately.
