The Relationships between Discharge Cell Structure and Addressing Characteristics in AC PDP

  • The addressing time should be reduced by modifying cell and/or driving method in order to replace the dual scan system by single scan and increase the luminance in large ac plasma display panel(PDP). In this paper, the relationships between of discharge cell structure and addressing time in ac PDP are investigated. It is found out that the addressing time was decreased with decreasing gap of ITO electrode and thickness of transparence dielectric layer on the front glass. The decrease rates were 4% per $10{\mu}m$ and 4% per $5{\mu}m$, respectively. Also in cases of decreasing height of barrier rip and thickness of white dielectric layer on the rear glass, addressing times were at the rate of 4% per $10{\mu}m$ and 4% per $2{\mu}m$, respectively.

Long Electrode Gap을 가진 Macro Cell에서의 고효율 PDP 특성 연구 (High Efficacy Plasma Display Utilizing Macro Discharge Cell Structure with Long Electrodes Gap)

  • Recently, applications of plasma display to the large public display and transparent display gain much attention. With this background, we report characteristics of opposite electrodes discharge cell with long electrode gap in comparison with conventional co-planar surface discharge. The cell size of test panel is $2950{\mu}m{\times}840{\mu}m$, which corresponds to that of the display having diagonal size of 130" with XGA resolution. Electrode gap of co-planar and opposite electrode structure are $240{\mu}m$ and $500{\mu}m$ respectively. These gap dimensions provide similar driving voltage windows. Experimental results show that opposite discharge provides approximately four fold higher luminous efficacy compared with that of the surface discharge. Resulting efficacy is found to be higher than 19 lm/W in green phosphor with 10 KHz continuous pulse operation.

한국형 틸팅차량 완화곡선 주행시 궤도작용력 발생경향 분석 (Analysis of Occurrence Tendency of Rail Force According to Running the Hanvit 200 Train on Transition Curve Track)

  • 국내에서 개발된 한국형 틸팅열차는 현재 시제차량 제작을 마치고, 충북선을 시작으로 시운전 시험이 단계적으로 진행되고 있다. 시운전 시험에서는 한국형 틸팅열차의 시스템 안정화를 위해 차량 외에 궤도, 구조물, 전차선, 신호 등 각 시스템 상호간의 인터페이스 검증이 필요하며, 선로구축물 분야에서는 개발차량의 증속이 궤도구조에 미치는 영향을 비롯한 궤도부담력 검토를 통해 궤도구조의 안정성과 주행안정성 평가가 수행되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에 서는 완화곡선구간을 주행하는 틸팅차량(한빛200호), 고속차량(KTX) 및 일반차량(무궁화)에 의해 궤도에서 발생하는 동적 윤중 및 횡압을 측정하였다. 측정데이터를 통해 차종별 주행패턴을 비교하고 윤중과 횡압의 증감율을 확률적으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 고정식 대치구조를 갖는 기존 차량의 캔트변화에 따른 발생 윤중 및 횡압의 분포범위는 일정 범위 내에서 작은 편차로 분포하였다. 반면 진자식 대차구조인 틸팅차량의 경우 캔트변화에 따른 차체의 틸팅작용에 의해 비교적 넓은 범위에 큰 편차로 궤도작용력이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다.

Robust Design of Main Control Valve for Hydraulic Pile Hammer Flexible Control System

  • The flexible control system for hydraulic pile hammer using main control valve is present to the requirement of rapidly reversing with high frequency. To ensure the working reliability of hydraulic pile hammer, the reversing performance of the main control valve should commutate robustness to various interfere factors. Through simulation model built in Simulink/Stateflow and experiment, the effects of relative parameters to reverse performance of main control are analyzed and the main interfere factors for reversing performance are acquired. Treating reverse required time as design objects, some structure parameters as control factors, control pressure, input flow and gaps between spool and valve body as interfere factors, the robust design of the main control valve is done. The combination of factors with the strongest anti-jamming capability is acquired which ensured the reliability and anti-jamming capability of the main control valve. It also provides guidance on design and application of the main control valve used in large flow control with interferes.

계층적 네트워크 기반 다중 모터 제어기의 안정도 분석 (Stability Analysis of Multi-motor Controller based on Hierarchical Network)

  • 인간형 로봇을 구동하기 위해서 로봇 내부에는 많은 수의 모터와 센서가 사용된다. 다수의 구동기를 연결할 때 생기는 배선의 문제를 해결하기 위해 통신 네트워크에 기반한 제어기를 사용해왔는데 구성 비용면에서 유리하고, 신뢰성이 높은 통신 프로토콜인 CAN이 주로 사용되었다. 제어기의 구조 측면에서 상위 제어기에 알고리즘을 탑재하기 쉬운 속도 제어형 구조가 선호되고 있는데, 이때 CAN의 낮은 통신 대역폭이 문제가 되며, 충분한 통신 대역폭을 얻기 위해 이전에는 다수의 CAN 네트워크로 분리해서 통신망을 구성하였다. 본 논문에서는 높은 통신 대역폭을 얻기 위해 고속의 FlexRay와 저속의 CAN 통신망이 계층적으로 연결된 다중 모터 제어 시스템에 대해 전송시간 지연에 대한 안정도 분석을 수행하고 허용된 전송시간 내에 센서 정보와 구동 신호를 전달하기 위한 게이트웨이의 구성과 노드 할당 방법에 관하여 연구한다. 제안된 계층적 네트워크 기반 제어시스템은 다중 모터제어 시스템의 제어성능을 높이고 안정도를 확보하는 데 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Coil Gun Electromagnetic Launcher (EML) System with Multi-stage Electromagnetic Coils

  • An electromagnetic launcher (EML) system accelerates and launches a projectile by converting electric energy into kinetic energy. There are two types of EML systems under development: the rail gun and the coil gun. A railgun comprises a pair of parallel conducting rails, along which a sliding armature is accelerated by the electromagnetic effects of a current that flows down one rail, into the armature and then back along the other rail, but the high mechanical friction between the projectile and the rail can damage the projectile. A coil gun launches the projectile by the attractive magnetic force of the electromagnetic coil. A higher projectile muzzle velocity needs multiple stages of electromagnetic coils, which makes the coil gun EML system longer. As a result, the installation cost of a coil gun EML system is very high due to the large installation site needed for the EML. We present a coil gun EML system that has a new structure and arrangement for multiple electromagnetic coils to reduce the length of the system. A mathematical model of the proposed coil gun EML system is developed in order to calculate the magnetic field and forces, and to simulate the muzzle velocity of a projectile by driving and switching the electric current into multiple stages of electromagnetic coils. Using the proposed design, the length of the coil gun EML system is shortened by 31% compared with a conventional coil gun system while satisfying a target projectile muzzle velocity of over 100 m/s.

유도전동기를 발전기로 사용시 동작 특성 해석 (Analysis for the Operating Characteristics when the Induction Motor is Used as a Generator)

  • Squirrel cage induction motor is the main driving system of industrial field and familiar with its use in a large variety of applications. The structure and operating characteristics of induction generator is almost identical to induction motor, but the induction generator part is used restrictively from hydropower power and wind power development etc. Recently induction generator is commonly used for micro & small hydro power applications due to its simplicity, reliability, low cost and robustness. Input and output of induction motor has turned against at the induction generator operation. Rotation speed of induction generator is small faster than synchronous speed of induction motor. As output of induction machines increases with the increasement of speed, so loss is same. Actually, generator efficiency is lower than motor at this condition. If induction generator is connected with mechanical load such as increaser, total efficiency is decreased. Consequently the quality in compliance with an induction motor parameter applying like that in the generator is a possibility of having the error of some. In this paper, we analyzed that input, output, torque and efficiency of induction machine is different from each other above and below synchronous speed.

  • 일반적으로 PWM인버터에 발생된 고조파와 노이즈는 스위칭 주파수, dv/dt와 di/dt, PWM 스위칭 방법에 의해 영향을 받는다. 멀티레벨 인버터가 고전력 시스템에 적용되어 낮은 주파수에서 동작할 때 이것은 큰 고조파 성분과 노이즈를 발생하게 된다. 따라서 멀티레벨 인버터에 출력 필터가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 H-bridge 7레벨 인버터 시스템을 사용한 3상 유도 전동기 구동 시스템의 고조파와 노이즈 감소를 위해 출력 필터를 설계하였다. 가격이 저렴하고 간단한 구조를 가지며, 고조파와 노이즈를 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있는 수동필터는 멀티레벨 인버터 시스템을 사용한 3상 유도전동기 구동시스템에 적용되었다. 설계된 시스템은 향상되었고, 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 그 타당성을 증명하였다.

Evaluation of Problems in Tourism Systems and Their Evolutionary Status Based on Self-Organization Theory

  • With the rapid development of the tourism economy, large-scale construction of tourist attractions to achieve resource utilization and ensure the healthy development of the tourism industry has become a hot topic. However, there are still issues with resource utilization and coordinated management in the economic development of the tourism industry, which in turn affects the coordinated development of the tourism industry economy. Therefore, this study utilizes self-organization theory to explore the structure, organizational mechanism, conditional driving force of evolution, and evolutionary operation mechanism of the tourism system, analyze the current tourism situation in Hunan Province and related regions, and construct a self-organization evolution model of the tourism system. The result shows that the cumulative variance contribution rate of tourism areas in Hunan Province is 78.8%, with Zhangjiajie having the highest industrial management factors and tourism resource levels in the province, with 1.6 and 3.2 respectively. Hunan Province has abundant tourism resources but overall uneven development, with a comprehensive score of -1.03. Therefore, it is necessary to leverage the coordination advantages of various departments and industries to promote sustainable and healthy development of tourism areas. The self-organizing evolution of the tourism system not only discovers the current problems of the tourism industry, but also provides theoretical support and mechanism suggestions for the tourism system.

선박용 Ejector의 직관부와 디퓨저 길이 변화에 따른 성능비교 및 유동특성에 관한 연구 (The evaluation of performance and flow characteristics due to the length of throat and diffuser for ship's ejector)

  • 이젝터는 고압의 주유동을 통해 저압의 부유동을 이동시키는 단순한 장치이다. 이젝터의 효율은 주방향으로 작동하는 다른 이송 장치에 비해 매우 낮다. 그러나 구동장치가 없어 간단한 구조를 가지고 있으며, 낮은 구동에너지로 많은 양의 유체를 이송시킬 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박에서 많이 사용되고 있는 side-type 액체용 이젝터에 작동유체의 유량을 변화시키면서 정상, 비압축성 유동에 대해 실험 및 CFD 분석을 통하여 직관부 및 디퓨저의 길이변화에 따른 이젝터의 유동 패턴과 흡입 현상을 분석하였다.
