연약지반에 축조하는 강제치환 호안사석의 시공관리방법에 관한 연구

  • In order to construct extremely large scale of sea dike like Saemanguem dike, extremely large amount of mass of rock are needed. In this case, it is general methods to estimate required amount of rock mass based on characteristics of consolidation settlement and bearing capacity of seabed, because it is impossible to estimate exact amount of rock material based on varied seabed condition.. Even in this general methods, it is very few case to manage rock mass amount by estimation of actual input rock mass but the main point is focused on the final section formation considering of designed section and reserve embankment, so excessive or underestimating result of rock mass would be occurred surely. This general methods is not resonable in the points of economic and stable. In this study, optimum construction management method of rubble mound in the 3rd section construction of Saemanguem sea dike is suggested based on comparing required rock mass estimating from consolidation settlement theory with actual input rock mass. It is found out that the optimum input quantity of rock mass is about $1,900{\sim}2,000m^3$/day.

유출홀이 설치된 배열 충돌제트의 유동 및 열전달 특성 (Flow and Heat/Mass Transfer Characteristics of Arrays of Impingement Jets with Effusion Holes)

  • The present study has been conducted to investigate heat/mass transfer characteristics on a target plate fur arrays of circular impingement jets with and without effusion holes. A naphthalene sublimation method is employed to determine local heat/mass transfer coefficients on the target plate. The effusion holes are located at the center of four injection holes in the injection plate where the spent air is discharged through the effusion hole after impingement on the target plate. For the array jet impingement without effusion holes, the array jets are injected into the crossflow formed by upstream spent air because the impinged jets must flow to the open exit. For small gap distances, heat/mass transfer coefficients without effusion holes are very non-uniform due to crossflow effects and re-entrainments of spent air. However, uniform distributions and enhanced values of heat/mass transfer coefficients are obtained by installing the effusion holes. For large gap distances, the crossflow has little influence on heat/mass transfer characteristics on the target palate due to the large cross-sectional open area between the injection and target plates. Therefore, the distributions and levels of heat/mass transfer coefficients are almost the same for both cases.

  • 선박의 보-유추 진동해석에 있어 2차원 부가수질량의 3차원 효과를 고려하기 위해서 3차원 수정계수(J-factor)를 계산해야 하는데 광폭선의 경우에는 J-factor의 계산이 부정확하고 번거롭다. 이 논문에서는 이를 개선하기 위해 새로운 선박의 보-유추 접수진동해석 방법을 소개하였다. 이 방법은 선박에 접수된 유체에 대해 BEM 기법을 이용하여 3차원 유체력을 직접 계산하고 이를 일정 간격으로 나눈 각 스트립에 집중질량으로 평가한 후에 선체의 보모델과 결합하여 보-유추 진동해석을 수행하는 방법이다. 오픈탑 컨테이너선의 모델에 대해 기존의 보-유추 진동해석방법과 이 논문에서 제시한 새로운 진동해석방법을 이용하여 진동해석을 수행하고 가진 실험에 의한 진동계측결과와 상호 비교함으로써 새로운 방법의 유용성을 검증하였다.

선형과 비선형 Muskingum-Cunge법에 의한 유출곡선의 특성 비교 (Comparison of Characteristics of Outflow Hydrograph Using the Linear and Nonlinear Muskingum-Cunge Methods)

  • 횡유입이 없는 경우(sign곡선의 홍수파 유입)와 횡유입이 있는 경우(강우 유입)를 대상으로 선형과 비선형 Muskingum-Cunge법에 의한 단위폭 사면에서의 유출수문곡선의 특성을 비교·고찰하였다. 유출곡선은 선형법에서는 확산효과에 의해서 거의 대칭적으로 확산되나, 비선형법에서는 비선형효과와 확산효과의 상호작용을 의하여 상승부는 급하게 되고, 하강부는 완만하게 된다. 선형법은 유입된 질량을 정확히 보존하나, 비선형법은 질량의 증가나 손실을 초래한다. 비선형법에서 기저유량이 작고 유량변화의 비가 큰 경우, 완경사에서는 파형의 감쇠와 질량의 감소를 가져오나, 급경사에서는 kinematic shock의 생성과 함께 질량의 증가를 가져온다. 같은 특성을 갖는 사면의 경우, 유출곡선의 전파속도와 파형의 변화는 선형법에서는 단위폭당 기준유량에 좌우되나, 비선형법에서는 기저유량 및 유량 변화의 비(= 첨두유량/기저유량)에 좌우된다. 횡유입(강우)이 있는 비선형법의 경우 횡유입이 없는 경우와 마찬가지로, 사면경사가 완만하고 유량변화의 비가 클수록 첨두유량은 작아지고 파형은 확산되나, 질량의 손실은 거의 없다.

Modeling large underground structures in rock formations

  • A methodology for jointed rock mass characterization starts with a research based on geological data and tests in order to define the geotechnical models used to support the decision about location, orientation and shape of cavities. Afterwards a more detailed characterization of the rock mass is performed allowing the update of the geomechanical parameters defined in the previous stage. The observed results can be also used to re-evaluate the geotechnical model using inverse methodologies. Cases of large underground structures modeling are presented. The first case concerns the modeling of cavities in volcanic formations. Then, an application to a large station from the Metro do Porto project developed in heterogeneous granite formations is also presented. Finally, the last case concerns the modeling of large cavities for a hydroelectric powerhouse complex. The finite element method and finite difference method software used is acquired from Rocscience and ITASCA, respectively.

Theoretical formulation for vehicle-bridge interaction analysis based on perturbation method

  • A three-mass vehicle model including one rigid mass and two unsprung masses is adopted to predict the vehicle-bridge interaction (VBI) and to establish the nonlinear coupled governing equations. To overcome the numerical instability and large computation problems concerning the vehicle-bridge system, the perturbation method is used to convert the nonlinear coupled governing equations into a set of linear uncoupled equations. Formulas for bridge's natural frequencies considering both the VBI and the dynamic responses of bridge and vehicle are proposed. Compared with the numerical results obtained by the Newmark-β method, the theoretical solutions for natural frequencies and dynamic responses are validated. The effects of the important factors of unsprung mass, vehicle damping, surface irregularity on the natural frequencies and dynamic responses of bridge and vehicle are discussed, based on the theoretical solutions.

대형 고속프레스 플런저 구조와 동적 하사점 변위량에 대한 연구 (A study on the Large High Speed Press Plunger Structure and Dynamic Bottom Dead Center Displacement)

  • The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized. 고유벡터의 변화량에 의한 비례감쇠구조물의 변경질량 및 그 위치 해석 (Analysis of mass and location of proportional damping system using the change of eigenvectors)

  • In spite of a large amount of previous research, detail study on modified mass in proportional damping system is not well understood. It is common to predict structural dynamic design parameters due to the change of mass, but to predict the amount of modified mass and the location where the mass is being modified are rarely found in previous literature. Such inverse problem required detail analytical study in order to understand structural modification in proportional damping system. This paper predicts the modified mass and the modified mass location in proportional damping system using sensitivity coefficients and iterative method. The sensitivity coefficients are obtained from the change of eigenvectors due to mass modification. This method is applied to a horizontal beam and three degree of freedoms system. To validate the predicted changing mass and its location, the obtained results are compared to the reanalysis result which shows good agreement.

대규모 사면의 붕괴사례 (Case Study on Large Cutting Slope Failure)

  • This paper described two case studies on large scale failure of cutting slope. The kind of rock in both sites predominated limestone and shale respectively. These cutting slopes located in northern area of Gyongbug Province are composed of very complicated and various rock mass. Geological characteristics, causes of failure, proceeding of security diagnose, maintenance method etc. of two sites were carried out to check the cutting slope stability and to provide reasonable maintenance method. This paper may provide the useful data for engineers related with design and construction of large cutting slope.

Study on the Frame Structure Modeling of the Beam Element Formulated by Absolute Nodal Coordinate Approach

  • Accurate seismic analyses of large deformable moving structures are still unsolved problems in the field of earthquake engineering. In order to analyze these problems, the nonlinear finite element method formulated by the absolute nodal coordinate approach is noticed. Because, this formulation has several advantages over the standard procedures on mass matrix, elastic forces and damping forces in the case of large displacement problems. But, it has not been fully studied to build frame structure models by using beam elements in the absolute nodal coordinate formulation. In this paper, we propose the connecting method of the beam elements formulated by the absolute nodal coordinate. The coordinate transformation matrix of this element is introduced into the frame structure. This beam element has the characteristic that the mass matrix and bending stiffiness matrix are constant even if in the case of large displacement problems, and this characteristic is being kept after the transformation. In order to verify the proposed method, we show the numerical simulation results of frame structures for a vibration problem and a large displacement problem.
