  • There are several ways to process large amounts of data. Depending on the processing method, there is a big difference in processing speed to create a large data list. Typically, to make a large data list, large data is converted into a normalized query, and the result of the query is stored in a List Map and converted into a printable form. This process occurs as a cause of lowering the processing speed step by step. In the process of storing the results of the created query as a List Map, the processing speed differs because the data is stored in a different format for each type of data. Through the simultaneous processing of GO language, we want to solve the problem of the existing difference in processing speed. In other words, it compares the results of GO language concurrency processing by providing how different and how it proceeds between the format contained in the existing List Map and the method of processing using concurrency in large data lists for faster processing. do.

  • This paper proposes a human-like sign-language learning method that uses a deep-learning technique. Inspired by the fact that humans can learn sign language from just a set of pictures in a book, in the proposed method, the input data are pre-processed into an image. In addition, the network is partially pre-trained to imitate the preliminarily obtained knowledge of humans. The learning process is implemented with a well-known network, that is, a convolutional neural network. Twelve sign actions are learned in 10 situations, and can be recognized with an accuracy of 99% in scenarios with low-cost equipment and limited data. The results show that the system is highly practical, as well as accurate and robust.

  • This paper proposes a gate and functional level logic simulator which can be run on XENIX O.S. The simulator has hierarchical structure including Hardware Description Language compiler, Waveform Description Language compiler, and Simulation Command Language compiler. The Hardware Description Language compiler generates data structure composed of gate structure, wire structure, condition structure, and event structure. Simulation algorithm is composed of selective trace and event-driven methods. To improve simulation speed, Cross Referenced Linked List Structure ia defined in building the data structure of circuits.

  • Hangout programming language, written in Hangout and having syntax of Korean, can enhance readability very much for its naturalness, and is suited for Hangout data processing. But there exist several problems in implementing it due to the peculiarities of Korean such as verb position, variation of termination. This paper proposes a solution for implementing Hangeul high level language and introduces a Hangout programming language HANSFOR (Hangout Structured Fortran), implemented according to the proposed method. HANSFOR satisfies such requirements of Hangout high level language as mentioned above and can handle Korean and Chinese character data efficiently. Especially, though it is based on Fortran, it is free-formatted and provides structured programming concept to compensate for defects of original Fortran. It is successfully implemented on NEC S/100.

  • In this paper, we present an object-based modeling and language for an object-oriented spatio-temporal database system. For handling the structure of spatio-temporal objects and the spatio-temporal operators, we propose the two layers of data modeling: a spatio-temporal object model (STOM) and an spatio_temporal internal description model (STIM). We then propose STOQL, a spatio-temporal object-oriented query language. STOQL provides an integrated mechanism for the graphical display of spatial objects and the retrieval of spatio-temporal and aspatial objects.

  • Objective: This study explored the creative thinking styles of children according to cluster analyses and examined group differences in language ability, cognitive ability, and peer relationships. Methods: The study used the data from the 2012 Panel Study of Korean Children by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education. The participants comprised 1,681 4-year-olds. Data were analyzed via cluster analyses, ${\chi}^2$ distributions, and ANOVA tests. Results and Conclusion: The results from the cluster analyses based on percentiles of the subfactors of K-FCTYC (Korean Figural Creativity Test for Young Children) indicated four clusters: "divergent creative with openness," "non-creative," "divergent creative," and "multiple creative." Additionally, the four clusters differed by gender, language ability, cognitive ability, and peer relationships.

  • A methodology is proposed to share the design information of a gear drive using XML (eXtensible Markup Language). XML is the standard language of the next generation and can be used as a neutral and unique format shared by various Web applications. Since XML is a platform-independent meta-markup language, it is possible to reduce the additional programming efforts for Web applications by using the standardization of technical terminologies. In this study, the structure of design information about gears, shafts, keys and bearings in a gear drive has been made and the terminologies used in the gear drive design process have been authored. The XML DTD(Data Type Definition) for the gear drive design has been declared and the usage of the XML application has been shown.

  • This paper presents a design experience of a control language for coordination of a multi-robot system. To effectively program job commands, a Petrinet-type Graphical Robot Language(PGRL) is proposed, where some functions, such as concurrency and synchronization, for coordination among tasks can be easily programmed. In our system, the proposed task commands of PGRL are implemented by employing formal model languages, which are composed of three modules, sensory, data handling, and action module. It is expected that by using our proposed PGRL and formal languages, one can easily describe a job or task, and hence can effectively operate a complex real-time and concurrent system. The control system is being implemented by using VME-based 32-bit microprocessor boards for supervisory, each module controller(arm, hand, leg, sensor data processing module) and a real time multi-tasking operating system(VxWorks). • Server-side scripting languages for web applications have a different environment from general programming languages. The reason is that some data in web applications should be transferred to a distinct file of a page or should be maintained for a physical time, that is for session time. SO JSP has four kinds of new scopes such as page, request, session, application. And every identifiers in JSP are classified and processed as one of the four scopes. This seems unavoidable to a scripting language because of the web environment. So when a JSP page using these new scope concepts is interpreted the procedure would be different from that of the general programming language's scopes. This thesis has studied the processing of the scopes which are considered in interpreting a script language code. This processing method of the scopes in this article can be applied not only to JSP interpreting but also to a data processing of similar ranges in web.
