Intermediaries are presenting not only transactional information that orchestrates electronic transaction, but also market related information and knowledge useful for sellers' understanding of the market status. However, we do not have strong evidence that the market related information and knowledge is properly utilized by sellers and that it has an actual influence on sellers' performance. According to the research result, absorptive capacity and the pattern of information system utilization is statistically significant to sellers' performance mediated by operational efficiency and market knowledge creation. Especially, explorative utilization of information system and realized absorptive capacity has a stronger influence on sellers' performance mediated by market knowledge creation. With this research result, this study maintains that sellers are required to absorb and utilize market related information and knowledge more actively through explorative utilization of information system to achieve better performance in the e-marketplace. On the other hand, intermediaries are recommended to provide abundant and valuable market related information and knowledge for the sellers to build up better e-marketplaces.

Grinding is considered as a very effective machining technology to attain high production rates and a good surface quality of hard and brittle components. However, the grinding operations till needs the skill and the experience of an operator because of a lack of scientific knowledge and engineering principles. This is the reason why grinding operations are not completley intergrated in CIMS(Computer Intergrated Manufacturing System. Recent develop- ment focus on expert system which deals with domain specific knowledge in order to solve this problem. Firstly, in this study, a basic strategy to develop the grinding knowledge-base for grinding is discussed. Next, the architecture of knowledge-base and management of the grinding knowledge-base(GKB) is described.

The design of injection molded polymeric parts has been done empirically, since it requires profound knowledge about the moldability and causal effects on the properties of the part, which are not available to designers through current CAD systems. An interactive computer-based design system is developed in order to realize the concept of rational design for the productivity and quality of mold making. The knowledge-based CAD system is constructed by adding the knowledge -base module for mold feature synthesis and appropriate CAE programs for mold design analysis in order to provide designers, at the initial design stage, with comprehensive process knowledge for feature synthesis, performance analysis and feature-based geometric modeling. A knowledge-based CAD system is a new tool which enables the concurrent design with integrated and balanced design decisions at the initial design stage of injection molding.

Knowledge management system building knowledge acquisition, knowledge share, and knowledge maintenance for the member of corporation is expanded throughout whole industry to cope with rapid business environment. Electronic document basing knowledge management system can copy, print, and transfer knowledge to another party, so it is being regarded as a essential infrastructure to share knowledge. However, considering most of information leakage is sprung up by insider of organization, it is considered to provide countermeasure to protect illegal use from information leakage. The purpose of this paper is to establish digital information security system through design of document and manage digital information assets safely through electronic document security system protecting illegal leakage of digital information assets.

The purpose of the study is to prospect the application of knowledge awareness system in the use of the digital textbook which is one of the main educational political projects based on the exploration of the awareness theory for the computer-supported collaborative learning. To do this, first, knowledge awareness theory for computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) as a rationale for digital textbook which supports the collaborative learning was introduced. Second, three functionalities of knowledge awareness systems were extracted by analyzing the representative knowledge awareness tools of CSCL environment. Third, application prospects of knowledge awareness system toward the development and utilization of digital textbook were presented. The paper suggested the need of more researches such as the prototype development of digital textbook which applies the knowledge awareness system's functionalities and empirical researches which examine their effectiveness and efficiency.

The primary purposes of this study are to explain the relationship between Knowledge Management System(KMS) and Web 2.0, and understand the knowledge management system that assists a company and its organization on the whole in adopting knowledge management. In order to that, the studies associated with knowledge management and Web 2.0 are examined. Recently, the Web 2.0 that makes the interpersonal communication, and it is for Blogshpere is formed for communication. As a result of the analysis of correlation with the factors in creation of knowledge, and knowledge sharing, there are some correlations to each other.

국내 외의 지식관리와 관련한 연구 대부분은 민간기업을 대상으로 이루어졌고, 공공부문 중에서 지방자치단체의 지식관리시스템 효과나 핵심요인에 대한 구체적인 사례연구는 부족한 상황이고, 그 기존 연구도 대부분 지식관리시스템 만족 요인 탐색인데 반해서 본 연구에서는 지식관리시스템의 이용 정도를 높이기 위해서는 어떤 영향 요인이 중요한지를 탐색하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서는 지식관리시스템이 갖고 있는 어떤 요인이 지식관리시스템 이용 유무에 원인이 되는지 고찰하기 위하여 분석모형에 포함된 지식관리시스템 케퍼빌리티의 구성요소와 개인 및 조직 케퍼빌리티의 구성요소 및 인구 통계학적 요인들을 독립변수로 하여 로짓회귀모형으로 분석 검증한다. '지식관리시스템 이용 유무'에 가장 영향을 미치는 변수는 '지식창조', 다음으로 유의한 변수인 '지식인프라', '부서장의 추진 의지' 요인도 유의하게 산출되었다.

본 논문은 선박의 초기설계와 중앙단면 설계용 지식베이스 시스템을 개발하고 지식공학이 선체구조 설계 분야에 매우 효율적으로 적용될 수 있음을 검토하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 첫째 구조설계에 적합한 지식베이스 전문가 시스템 개발용 도구(tool)인 E.1을 개발하였다. E.1은 C언어로 작성되었고 구조설계 과정을 효율적으로 뒷받침해주기 위해서 자동 반복 계산과 재추론 기능을 갖고 있다. 둘째 살물선의 초기설계시 주요치수 추정과 중앙단면 설계를 위한 지식베이스를 개발하였다. 이 지식베이스들은 통계적 경험식, 선급 규정, 경험적 지식 등을 rule, fact, table로 표현하여 구성하였다. 셋째 지식베이스의 추론을 통하여 중앙 단면 최적 설계 프로그램의 입력 자료를 생성하고 최적화 프로그램을 수행시키는 통합(hybrid) 시스템을 구축하였다. 넷째 보강판 설계용 지식베이스 시스템을 개발하기 위해 최적화 결과의 회귀분석을 이용하는 간이 설계법을 적용해 보았다. 이 시스템을 사용하여 살물선과 보강판의 설계과정을 보이고 그 결과를 검토해 보았다. 앞으로 E.I와 성능 개선과 더 우수한 지식베이스가 축적됨에 따라서 선체 구조설계에 사용되는 기존의 CAD 시스템의 성능이 크게 보완될 것으로 기대된다.

In reliability engineering, failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action system (FRACAS) is an useful tool for effective failure reporting and related operations. FRACAS is generally mainly focused on implementation of its closed-loop process, but also includes various related information which has to be effectively managed such as failure types, failure modes, failure mechanisms, and corrective actions. In this study, we adopt and utilize the concept of process knowledge, and create it through abstraction of FRACAS information. At each step of closed-loop process, the necessary type of knowledge, priority and usability are clearly defined. This study also suggests corresponding management tools such as business process management system, knowledge management system, and their key elements and functions to deal with process knowledge. A prototype system using simple closed-loop process with its process knowledge is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed work.

지금 전 세계에서는 인간수명의 연장과 건강에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 더욱이 인터넷의 발달로 의료정보 접근과 의료 상담에 관련된 사이트들이 증가하는 가운데 의학정보에 대한 오남용 가능성도 배제 할 수 없다. 이제 공공도서관에서도 이용자에게 건강·의학정보를 수집 정리하여 능동적인 지역정보봉사를 제공해야만 하는 시점에 와 있다. 본 연구에서는 공공도서관에서 지역정보봉사의 개선을 위한 한 방안으로 의자정보사이트의 구축과 관리를 지원하는 통합 지식관리시스템 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 따라서 이론적 배경으로 공공도서관의 의학 정보서비스에 관련된 이슈와 지식경영과 지식관리시스템에 관련된 이슈를 다룬다. 그 다음 국내외 12개 의학정보사이트를 분석한 후 공공도서관 의학정보사이트 구축에 대한 계획 및 구성을 제안한다. 끝으로 의학정보사이트를 지원하는 5개의 하부 시스템으로 구성된 통합 지식관리시스템의 모형을 다음과 같이 제안한다: 1)지식창출 시스템, 2)기술지원 시스템, 3)교육지원 시스템 4)커뮤니티 시스템, 5)지식공유 네트워크 시스템. 이 시스템은 지식경영에 기초를 둔 통합 지식관리시스템으로서 공공도서관이 보다 경쟁력을 갖고 지역정보봉사를 효율적으로 수행하도록 지원할 것이다.
