In this study, we examined the quality of water and the kinds of algae and insects the Oksukchon river along the length between Kwannung and the Han river during winter. Also examined is the relation between the quality of water and the flesh water plants in several significant points along the Oksukchon river between Kwannung and the Han river. We dicovered that the gradual pollution of the quality of water in places near villages and towns resutled in a considerable change of life in water. The present quality of water shows a remarkable difference from the limnoligical report of the winter of the year 1960 which we previously reported, and a considerable change in kinds of fish and water plant since then were noticed.

In order to operate water quality model for a lake or a channel, user should examine the all kinds of parameters and should know how them react to the model for calculating the pollution which are happened from the watershed or are reacted in the water. The aim of this study is analyzing the characteristics of parameters which are used by a water quality model (CE-QUAL-W2), so that we are trying to find out how them to react to the model for calculating the many kinds of pollution.

This paper presents a methodology for analyzing individual differences on Kansei evaluation for a set of product samples. This analysis divides subjects into several groups by each subject's Kansei evaluation data according to what kinds of Kansei are related on what kinds of design elements. The basic idea is to classify the results of cluster analysis in individual subject's ranges. A similarity matrix of subject is computed by comparing dendrogram of each subjects. The methodology is applied to analyzing evaluation data of cellular phone design.

The computer simulated CVD phase diagrams were completed by the stoichiometric algorithm. Three kinds of SiC/C FGMs: stepwise, semi-continuous, and continuous specimens were prepared according to the simulation. These three types of FGMs and SiC non-FGMs were compared through various thermal test and measurement. In overall judgment, the semi-continuously deposited FGM specimens out of three kinds showed excellent thermal properties as well as a good adhesion to each sub-layer.

This paper aimed at studying an efficient sampling design of the survey for non-consignment fishery products including both marine fisheries and seaculture. An analysis was done on the relationship between precision and sample size. On the basis of the analysis, the sample size was determined to be 1,080 fishery house holds with the expected precision of 4%-5%. The molluscs and seaculture were recognized to be correlated with the non-consignment products. An attempt was made to investigate the coverage of the fish kinds by the sample about 100 fish kinds were found in the 80 selected sample villages, whereas the population includes about 120 in total. This shows that the sample represents the population with satisfaction.

Organophosphorus insecticide residues were investigated in six kinds of fruits and five kinds of vegetables.The materials used in this experiment were grape, musk melon, apple, peach, plum, apricot, lettuce, green pepper, cucumber, pumpkin and tomato which were collected from June to september 1986 in Seoul. Residual pesticides investigated were Diazinon, Parathion, MEP (Fenitrothion), Malathion, EPN, MPP (Fenthion), PAP (Phenthoate) and Dimethoate and all samples were analysed by gas chromatographic technique with NPD (Nitrogen Phosphorus Detector). No sample was found to approach proposed national maximum residue limits in Korea.

A new perturbation theory called as star expansion method is used to obtain the nonlinear retarded solution of the Schlogl models with some kinds of external input. The approximate nonlinear solutions are compared with the exact solution, linear solutions, and those obtained by the Feynman method.

The explicit results of the degrees of circularity for various kinds of completely polarized light in a nonpolar fluid composed of chiral molecules are obtained with the aid of the Ornstein-Zernike form for the correlation function of density fluctuations. Then, the results are in detail discussed in two limiting cases of critical region and compared with circular intensity differences.

Studying on the shirpms produced out of the freshwater in Nam-hae Island , the four kinds of them were found as follows : 1. Paratya compressa (De Haan) 2. Neocaridina denticulata (De Haan) 3. Neocaridina denticulata koreana Kubo 4. Caridina leucostica Stimposon Among the said kinds of them, Paratya compressa and Caridina leucostica are to be listed for the first time in Korean shrimps fauna, and at the same time, Neocaridina denticulata and Neocaridina denticulata koreana were found distributed mostly in whole the rivers, lakes and ponds of this area.
