A Study on Analyzing out the Key Tasks and Developing the Professional Type of National Librarians through Job Analysis (직무분석을 통한 국립중앙도서관사서의 핵심업무 및 전문사서 유형 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Analyzing out the Key Tasks and Developing the Professional Type of National Librarians through Job Analysis was made, because improving the professionalism of librarians is the strategy of survival in the competency based society. It is composed of 22 duties, 216 tasks of national librarian job and 96 key tasks is extracted among them. As the results, 12 types of professional librarian which is composed 10 function oriented types, and 2 user oriented types, is suggested: collection development librarian, cataloger taxonomist, information service librarian, reading coach, research librarian of international standards, database & system manager, international work librarian, national support librarian, marketing librarian, library literacy librarian, children' librarian, handicapped service librarian.

  • Global economic recession, global market reduction, and the deteriorating economic recession are forcing the industry to reconsider the business plan and strategy related to supply chain regardless of the size of the companies. During the economic recession caused by financial anxiety, development of international collaborative producer is the key theme for a manufacturing industry to get over the situation. Especially, development of high-skilled people who are capable of handling global manufacturing management is the key factor in China which shifted from a world factory to a world market. In this background, we started the international project of global manufacturing education and training for Chinese company managers from 2009. In this paper, based on the research conducted by the universities and companies in China, a design of global manufacturing education and training is proposed. This presented design is based on the theory of Japanese production strategy and investigation of actual conditions for Chinese companies and the research methodology of business management practice with efficiency and productive for international level management organization. The effectiveness of the education design is evaluated by applying the international education and training project of Aoyama Gakuin Human Innovation Consulting Inc. and Vigor Management Technology Association.

  • Recently number of reinstrumentation projects in the process plants has grown to meet the needs to modernize or upgrade the exsisting control systems in a bid to boost productivity and quality. Design, installation and start-up of these process automation systems can be successful and trouble-free only if decision points are addressed properly. The critical decision points are encountered from tile design through the start-up phases of implementing a modernization project and discussed extensively here on a practical basis. Key points are ;to assign a project manager out of the plant instrument engineers for him to organize and lead a project team. ;to follow three critical steps in designing and implementing. :to think ahead of the critical steps and to induce a positive cooperation from all level of participants in the effort to prevent possible schedule delays.

  • The higher develops the industrial techniques, the more reliability of mac hi nary, equipments and systems want the consumers. So, it is a key to succeed in the new-product development that the consumers can put reliance on the product to be made in the product design stage. This study intends to help the product designer and the system manager by presenting them better reliability prediction techniques. For this purpose, the author built some fundamental reliability system models. And then predict the system reliability by estimating the elemental component's failure rate ${\lambda}_i$, and proposed an evaluation model. And also, a system is wrong according to the component's characteristics' degradation, we must estimate the degradation failure rate (average and standard deviation). For this, the "Moment method" is used.

  • In A institute, project managers present quarterly project performance report according to institute's law. In quarterly project performance report, progress of project performance and budget expended should be written. Progress of project performance and progress of budget expended are key management factors in A institute. Because financial database system Is already constructed, progress of budget expended is got from information system. But the progress of project performance that project manager estimate subjectively can not be judged of its correctness because there is not project management information system that is able to calculate the progress of project performance systematically. In this study, we present the project management system assign all activities to every project participator according to their work share rate using WBS(Work Breakdown Structure) and calculate the progress of project performance systematically Also we construct project management information system for above project management system implementing.

  • ERP is the key-enabler of enterprise's informatization. Seletion of a right ERP system is one of the critical issues. Previous study shows that since a very few methodologies of selecting ERP systems are provided, most of companies have difficulty in Implementing ERP system. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of ERP system selection factors and develop the ERP evaluation methodology An empirical study is performed and shows that there are signigicant differences in ERP selection factors among ERP consultant, ERP developer, and system manager. The result shows that five factors such as general characteristics of software and supplier, technology characteristics of software and supplier, and Project management shills are significant. Based on the five factors, the evaluation methodology is developed. The methodology will help enterprises to make better decision in selecting ERP systems.

  • A venture business plays important roles in the economy of a developing nation. It makes highly value-added product, increases employment and improves the industry structure. The objective of this study is to derive the financial and non-financial characteristics from venture businesses, which determine a highly successful business group or a less successful business group. The firm characteristics are composed of 21 financial(liquidity, leverage, cash flow, activity, productivity, and etc) and 34 non-financial characteristics(manager, technology, marketability and credibility variables), which have been considered as the key characteristics for venture business by the existing literature. All financial ratios and non-financial characters play a role of making discriminations between a highly successful and a less successful group. Because there are not generally accepted definitions, classifying a highly successful and a less successful venture business is a very difficult problem. Operational definitions have many problems but we have no choice in current stage.

  • Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) is expected to be a major application on the Internet in the future This paper propose an approach to VoIP that uses Differentiated Service and Multi-protocol Label Switching(MPLS) to provide quantitative QoS guarantees over an IP network. An algorithm that determines QoS-constrained routes is proposed and a framework that uses such an algorithm for traffic engineering is outlined. the key component of this framework is a Centralize Resource Manager(CRM) responsible for monitoring and managing resources within the network and making all decisions to route/reroute traffic according to QoS requirement

  • Recently, many countries around the world are investing heavily in green industries based on green IT technology. The key industry in the green industry is LED. If we replace traditional lighting, we can save a lot of socioeconomic costs. Because it is energy efficient. However, the research and development on maintenance and management are still insignificant about LED lighting. Therefore, after the failure, the post-treatment is delayed and often occurs. In order to solve these problems, it is planned to detect the failure of the LED lighting and to establish a monitoring system that can monitor the situation in real time on the computer or mobile phone of the remote manager using the latest IoT network technology.
