  • We find bounds of eigenvalues of bipartite tournament matrices. We see when bipartite matrices exist and how players and teams of the matrices are evenly ranked. Also, we show that a bipartite tournament matrix can be both regular and normal when and only when it has the same team size.

  • Let X,Y be connected, locally connected, semilocally simply connected and $f,g : X \to Y$ be a pair of maps. We find an upper bound of the Reidemeister number R(f,g) by using the regular coverig spaces.

  • Abstract - Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of work conditions on job stress of social workers in Seoul. Method: For this survey, a self-reported questionnaire was administrated to 1,000 social workers working in all of organization for social welfare practice in Seoul. The number of responded questionnaires was 431. Multiple linear regression analysis was used for job stress as the dependent variables and control variables. Results: The result of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that regular rest breaks had significantly effect on job stress level but long working hours did not. When regular rest breaks was guaranteed job stress of social workers significantly lowered 8.4 point. In addition standardized regression coefficients and partial R2 of regular rest breaks was the highest score among the variables. Conclusion: This study suggests that it is the most important to guarantee regular rest breaks in the work schedule in order to alleviate job stress of social workers.

  • In order to investigate whether the particles reduced to almost nano grade might affect the chemical and physical properties of organic materials, whole Korean Black-Red Ginseng was pulverized into almost nano size and then ginsenosides, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins in the ultrafine particles were compared with those in the regular particles as control. The mean size of the ultrafine particles was in the 350 nm range, while that of the regular particles was $127{\mu}m$. More ginsenosides, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids and proteins were detected in the ultrafine particles than in the regular particles. Interestingly, more lipids from the ultrafine particles dissolved in the water than those from the regular particles in the ethanol. Absorption and transport of carbohydrate, lipid or antioxidant activity across the intestinal wall using everted intestine sacks of mice was also enhanced by particle size reduction at the almost nano scale. More cytotoxic effect against hepatoma cell growth by ultrafine particles was also found. These results could be used as the basic data for the understanding and evaluation of the effects of organic nanomaterials on the human health.

  • For the purpose of building the simulation model on cargo handling capacity in container terminal we composed a model of container logistics system which has a 4 subsystem; cargo handling transportation storage and gate complex system. Several data are used in simulation which were gained through a field study and a basic statistic analysis of raw data on BCTOC from January to Jane in 1998. The results of this study are as follows; First average available ratios of each subsystems were 50% for G/C, 57.5% for Y/T, 56% for storage system and 50% for gate complex. And there were no subsystems occurring specific bottleneck. Second comparing the results of simulation to the results of basic statistics analysis we can verifying the suitability of this simulation model. Third comparing the results of this study to the results of existed similar study in 1996, we were able to confirm the changes of container logistics system in BCTOC.

  • The running attitude of a high-speed planing craft may change significantly depending on its speed in seaway. Other variables that may influence its running attitude are its weight, center of gravity, sea conditions, and so on. In this paper, planing craft model tests were carried out with respect to above variables in SNU towing tank, and vertical motion responses of a planing craft in regular head waves were analyzed. The experimental results in regular waves were compared with those in calm water, and compared with the theoretical estimations. Finally, the effects of running speeds of a planing craft on its motion amplitudes are confirmed.

  • Objectives: This study aims to identify factors related to exercise of some female college based on Theory of planned behavior. Methods: This study surveyed 500 female students attending a university to answer to self-reported questions using a questionnaire from May 3 to May 22 2010 and used 462 copies of the responses except insincere ones for the final analysis. Results: Of the 462 subjects, 30.7%(142) did regular exercise more than 3 times a week. As a result of the univariate analysis, there were relations between drinking, need of Exercise, attention to health, health habits, perceived behavior control and intention of exercise, and regular exercise. As a result of the multiple Logistic regression, there was a statistically significant relation between regular exercise and perceived behavior control and intention and drinking. Conclusion: This study identified that there were relations between drinking, perceived behavior control and intention of female college students and their regular exercise. Therefore, to promote their regular exercise, it is suggested that educational programs which consider such factors should be developed.

  • Subject : The physiological characteristic of Eight Extra Meridians. Objective : This study research physiological characteristic of Eight Extra Meridians that differentiate from the physiological characteristic of Twelve Regular Meridians. Method : First, we researched the meaning of "There are Eight Extra Meridians and they don't be arrested by Twelve Regular Meridians" in Nanjing 27Nan compared with the contents of regular Meridians circulation in Huangdineijing. Second, we studied on the origin of Eight Extra Meridians and researched their route. Third, from these researches we drew some physiological characteristics of Eight Extra Meridians. Conclusion : In Huangdineijing, the regular Meridians circulation include the route of Governor Meridian, Conception Meridian, and Heel Meridian. So the sentence in Nanjing 27Nan is contradictory to the contents of Huangdineijing. The origin of Eight Extra Meridians could be found in Huangdineijing. The collateral Meridians of the Uterus and Epiglottis Meridian are specifically formulated to supplying for the Uterus or Epiglottis. Eight Extra Meridians have third qualities of Meridian, collateral Meridian, and the solid viscera keep the Essence Gi, so named 'Extra'. And they have an intimate association with Extraordinary Organs. They place at the middle axis of human body, thus do higher physiological function that control and regulate the function of Twelve Regular Meridians and Five Viscera & six Bowels for adaptation to the environment.
