The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the main creative attitude in Lee Eun-sang's Sijo relies upon the juxtaposition technique, with paying attention to juxtaposition of being found in the works of being put in the Nosan Sijojip(時調集, collection of Sijo poems), and that this creative attitude provides readers with the easiness for understanding. A type in the juxtaposition technique, which was shown in "Nosan Sijojip", was divided in the dimension of the anaphora in a meaning and the confrontation in a meaning. The anaphora of a meaning was classified into synonymous juxtaposition, comprehensive juxtaposition, specific juxtaposition and syntactic juxtaposition. The confrontation of a meaning was examined in the contradictory juxtaposition. Most of Lee Eun-sang's works are applying this juxtaposition technique. Also, the dynamic of image, which is indicated in juxtaposition, is what was influenced by the British and American imagism. This study will be able to solve problems that modern Sijo has to some extent, and will be helpful even for acquiring the identity in Sijo.

The juxtaposition of atrial appendage may possibly be diagnosed by angiography recently, and it is widely regarded as an ominous sign of severe cyanotic congenital heart disease. However, it is apparently rare congenital cardiac anomaly in which the atrial appendages lie side by side, both to the left or right of the great arteries, known as left or right juxtaposition of the atrial appendages. Juxtaposition of the atrial appendages has no functional significance, since it does not, itself, cause any hemodynamic disturbance. But it`s presence always indicates the coexistence of other major cardiac anomalies. In review of literatures TGA and VSD are invariable present, and ASD is common. Other anomalies, such as, tricuspid atresia, pulmonary outflow that, obstruction bicuspid pulmonic valve, persistent SVC etc. are relatively high incidence. In this report, we present one case of 6 year old female child having left juxtaposition of atrial appendage combined with TGA [D-looping, D-transposition], TAPVD, large ASD, small VSD, and vertical vein.

In this paper, we proposes a method that analyzes the characteristics and patterns of color juxtaposition based on the color wheel used by pointillism painter and an algorithm that generates pointillistic images by applying obtained analysis data. In order to analyze color juxtaposition of pointillism, we extract the stroke colors of real painting and find the most similar probability density functions(PDFs) through applying good-of-fit tests for the probabilistic distribution of stroke colors. By performing the juxtaposition of color based on the found PDFs, we can convert input image to pointillistic image effectively. It can be seen that this study shows reliability in the use of data obtained from actual paintings and that leads to perform a reasonable work.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the forms and styles of pond at private housing in terms of diachronically influencing characteristics in the Choson Dynasty. From various literatures and records, we have selected 73 cases of pond. We have analyzed the types of pond based on square type, squared type with islets, and modified types and found the following results: 1) Chronically, shapes of pond had been chanced from the three prototypes into their features of deducting side or edge, adding a triangular or trapezoid shape, and installing more islets, and replaced their figures with gradually progressive from side having a straight lined shape to a curved one. 2) As for characteristics of arranging ponds, we found three patterns of arrangement - the juxtaposition with a similar shape of pond, juxtaposition with a different shape of pond, and the juxtaposition with a pond having different topological level in the light of the relation with a stream and a pond. We can conclude the two changed patterns of ponds at private residence in Choson Dynasty that the one had been transformed shapes of pond with sides of pond, and the others had been transformed juxtaposition with either a stream or a natural stream. From this research we can find an important implications in understanding patterns and types of garden in the Choson Dynasty from exploratory approach and in the future the relationship between topographical characteristics of private residence and Confucian ideas, and shapes of pond is needed to be examined in explanatory manner.

It should grant artistic values that can satisfy consumers having various tastes and scarcity values, plus it should put out aesthetic and creative expressions in furniture design putting into the beautiful traditional craft form values. Furthermore, it is required to create new design through values and spirit, materials, techniques, forms, pattern, and usages by interacting, coordinating, and combining tradition and modern East and West, plus craft and design.

An exhibit entitled 'Revelatory Landscapes' was held at the San Francisco Museum of Modem Art from May 5 to October 14, 2001. For this Museum's rot off-site outdoor exhibition, five outstanding design teams-Kathryn Gustafson, Hargreaves Associates, Hood Design, Tom Leader Studio, and ADOBE LA-created site-specific installations in Berkeley, Oakland, San Jose, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Each project showcased a hybridization of environmental art and landscape design. The main content revealed through revelatory landscapes were the natural, cultural, and historical palimpsest of the sites-particularly as related to the history of minorities such as Native American, African Americans and Latin Americans-as well as the every day life of ordinary people. To represent these ideas, a juxtaposition of the past and the present was broadly applied. Furthermore, the use of dramatic colors, textures, and forms in consideration of materials coupled with the revelation of natural elements such as wind and sunlight accelerated the effect of this juxtaposition. Every project of the Revelatory Landscapes exhibit requires a phenomenological experience to be appreciated. Via the five senses, these experiences cause a synesthetic experience beyond solely the visual. By examining the projects of 'Revelatory landscapes', the threshold for a new blending between environmental art and landscape design as well as new landscape design strategies that overcome the dichotomy between nature and culture will change and evolve.

Over the past several years, a number of centers have reported favorable results of anatomical repair for the congenitally corrected transpositions. However, there have been subsequent problems related mainly to the results of atrial switch procedures in patients who had small atriums because of venoatrial obstructions or supraventricular arrhythmias, especially in patients with apicocaval juxtaposition. Cavopulmonary shunt may be a useful addition to the double switch operation in certain circumstances as a means of avoiding potential atrial complications. Herein, we describe the successful anatomical repair of congenitally corrected transposition of the great artery with pulmonary atresia, ventricular septal defect, and cavo apical juxtaposition with this modification.

A seven month old female infant with isolated ventricular inversion and anatomically corrected malposition of the great arteries in situs solitus, associated with ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus, right-sided juxtaposition of left atrial appendage, is reported. The patient showed usual atrial arrangement with somewhat superoinferior relation, a discordant atrioventricular connection, and a concordant ventriculoarterial connection with aorta in the right-sided position. A normal sized left atrium was connected to the left superiorly positioned morphologic right ventricle through a tricuspid valve, which crossed the left ventricular outflow tract anteriorly. Well developed bilateral[subaortic and sub-pulmonary]conus was documented at operative field. successful surgical repair was done by performing the Senning procedure and by closing the ventricular sepal defect with a patch through the right ventriculotomy. The infant’s postoperative course was uneventful with normal sinus rhythm. Postoperative cardiac catheterization revealed no hemodynamic obstruction or residual shunt.
