치과위생사의 치과보존분야 직무수행 현황 분석 (An Analysis of the Job Performance in Operative Restoration by Dental Hygienists)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the dental hygienists' overall performance in operative restoration and the clinical performance in operative restoration according to dental hygienists' career and to provide basic data for establishing the appropriate range of dental hygienists' work. Subjects of this study are 339 dental hygienists working at dental clinic and hospital nationwide, selected by their working place, career, type of clinic, and location of clinical institution. The distribution of people who responded to the survey shows that 81 belong to beginner level(less than 2 years since entering clinic), 115 intermediate level(2 to 3 years since entering clinic), 81 higher level(4 to 5 years since entering clinic) and 62 advanced level(more than 6 years since their entering clinic). In terms of the types of clinical institution, 178 belong to dental clinics and 161 belong to dental hospitals. The survey used in this study are focused on perception about clinical performance in operative dentistry and adequacy of the work. Operative dentistry consists of operative restoration and endodontic therapy. The operative restoration consists of 15 categories such as patient welcoming, examination and diagnosis, planning of treatment, anesthesia, control of moisture, cavity preparation, pulp protection, matrix band application, amalgam filling, resin filling, glass ionomer cement filling, abrasive strip removal, rubber dam removal, bite check and polishing, patient education, and arrangement. The reliability was Cronbach's Alpha .9453. SPSS 10.0 for Windows was used to analyze the responses. One way ANOVA was utilized to verify the differences in the dental hygienists' job performance in operative restoration and their job performance according to career. When significant difference was found. Duncan multi comparison post hoc was done. To sum up the results of this study, patient welcoming look the first place in the operative restoration. It was followed by patient education, examination and diagnosis, introducing treatment plan, resin filling, glass ionomer cement filling, amalgam filling, bite check and polishing, anesthesia, pulp protection, control of moisture, abrasive strip removal, cavity preparation, matrix band application, rubber dam removal, and anesthesia. In terms of the clinical performance by career, there were significant differences in 19 activities such as medical eraluation, oral examination, patient charting, intra oral readio graphs, firm developing fixing mounting, curing light gun, education of attention content after operation. Based on the results of this study, the specific range of operative restoration for dental hygienists should be focused on providing basic data for dentists' diagnosis, alleviation of fear and aching accompanied by injection and anesthesia, data providing for dentists' decision of anesthesia degree, and maximization of control of moisture.

미용사의 직업존중감과 만족도 (Job Esteem and Satisfaction of Estheticians)

  • 최근 국내 화장품 시장이 빠르게 성장하면서 많은 사람들이 피부관리에 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이에 피부미용관련 직종 중 대표 직업군인 피부미용사들의 자신의 직업에 대한 직업존중감과 만족도를 조사하여 현재 뷰티산업에 종사하는 전문가들의 직업만족도를 알아보고자 하였다. 조사는 서울 및 경기지역에 거주하는 현직 피부관리사 289명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였고 그 결과 응답자의 대부분은 자신의 직업존중감이 높은 것으로 나타났다(M=3.81). 그러나 남, 여에 따라 '정당한 대우'에서, 학력에 따라 '상대적 우위'에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다(p<.o1). 직업만족도에서도 M=3.34로 높은 만족도를 보였고 근무시간, 직위, 급여에 따라 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 자아존중감과 직업존중감이 높을수록 직업의식에 대한 직무만족도가 높아진다. 따라서 직업의 가치를 평가하는 사회적 인식 수준의 향상과 자신의 직무에 대한 긍정적인 가치관이 피부미용사들의 직업 만족도를 높여 직무능력 향상에도 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

입원 환자와 간호사가 지각하는 환자 교육 중요도와 간호사의 교육 수행 정도 (The Level of Importance and Performance of Patient Education perceived by Patients and Nurses)

  • This study was performed to investigate the level of importance and performance of patient education perceived by patients and nurses. The subjects consisted of 108 patients and 106 nurses in one university-affiliated hospital in Daegu, from February 1 to February 5, 2002. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires which were constructed to include the level of importance and performance of patient education. The data were analyzed by an SPSS program. 1) The level of importance of patient education perceived by patients and nurses was high, but the level of performance of patient education was relatively low. The level of importance and performance of patient education perceived by patients and nurses ranked as the highest in the area of diagnosis and treatment. 2) The level of importance and performance of patient education perceived by patients was not different according to general characteristics. The level of importance and performance of patient education perceived by nurses was different according to age and the working unit and the level of performance of patient education was different according to clinical career and job position. These results suggest that the level of importance of patient education perceived by patients and nurses was different to the level of performance of patient education perceived by them. Therefore nurses should actively provide patients with the educational program based on the importance of patient education perceived by patients.

중등단계 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사의 직무 인식 (A Study on the Job Specifications of Teachers Working at Secondary Level Technical Vocational Education Institutes)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 중등단계 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사의 직무(직무 영역과 영역별 직무 내용)를 구명하고, 구명된 직무에 대해서 교사가 인식하는 직무 중요도, 곤란도, 수행 빈도를 분석하고자 한다. 중등단계 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사의 직무를 도출하기 위하여 관련 문헌을 고찰하여 이론적으로 구안하였다. 구안된 직무의 내용을 현장 교사 전문가 16명과 교사 교육 전문가 3명의 검토를 통하여 직무 모형을 완성하였다. 직무 모형을 바탕으로 최종 조사 도구를 개발하였으며, 조사 도구는 설문지를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등단계 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사의 직무 영역은 7개(중영역 포함 10개)로 교과지도, 학생지도, 학급 경영, 교육과정 편성 운영, 교무 행정 업무, 대외 협력 및 현장 실습지도, 전문성 신장으로 구성되었다. 확인적 요인분석을 통해 교과지도 영역은 수업 준비 및 계획, 수업 운영, 학습 평가 3개 영역, 학생지도 영역은 교과외 학생지도, 생활지도 2개 영역, 학급 경영, 교육과정 편성 운영, 교무 행정 업무, 대외 협력 및 현장 실습지도, 전문성 신장으로 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사의 직무 영역은 총 7개 영역(중영역 포함 10개 영역)의 46개 하위 요인으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 중등단계 공업계열 직업교육기관 교사가 인식하는 직무 중요도는 4.10으로 전반적으로 높게 나타났고, 곤란도는 3.45로 보통 이상으로 나타났으며, 수행 빈도는 3.12로 보통 수준(한 달에 1-3회 정도 수행)으로 나타났다. 직무 중요도가 높은 영역은 학습 평가(4.32), 수업 준비 및 계획(4.28), 전문성 신장(4.27), 수업 운영(4.26), 생활지도(4.25), 학급 경영(4.17), 대외 협력 및 현장 실습지도(4.12) 영역 등의 순으로 나타났다. 곤란도가 높은 영역은 대외 협력 및 현장 실습지도(4.07), 교육과정 편성 운영(3.73), 전문성 신장(3.55), 생활지도(3.48), 학습 평가(3.35), 교과외 학생지도(3.22) 영역 등의 순으로 나타났다. 직무 수행 빈도가 높은 영역은 학급 경영(3.88), 수업 운영(3.77), 생활지도(3.52), 교무 행정 업무(3.40), 수업 준비 및 계획(3.17) 영역 등의 순으로 나타났다.

치과기공사의 직무스트레스 요인이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Job Stress Factors of Dental Technicians on Job Satisfaction)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze dental technicians' job stress and Job satisfaction level and to examine its correlation. Methods: A self-administered survey was conducted from September 2 to October 2, 2019, on 230 selected dental technicians. The collected data were statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained, and t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out. Results: When the job stress was analyzed, there were significant differences according to their field of work, working hours(p<.05). Their average score in the items about a job stress was 3.57. As a result of analyzing the job satisfaction of the dental technicians, there were significant differences according to their working hours, plan for task continuity in dental technician(p<.05). The average score in job satisfaction items was 3.11. Conclusion: As a result of research, that as for the correlation between a job stress and job satisfaction, a higher the job stress led to lower the job satisfaction, as every variable had a significant reverse correlation with each other. In addition, physical environment, heavy workload, conflict during the work performance, personal matters were identified as the factor that exerted the influence on both of job satisfaction.

의료기관의 서비스 지향성, 종업원 직무만족, 고객지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study of Service Orientation, Human Resource Satisfaction, Customer Orientation Effects on Performance in Hospital)

  • This paper is to find how does service orientation of organization and human resource job satisfaction affect its customer orientation, that is, its service attitude and behavior toward customer. Purpose of this study is also to measure the level of employees' customer orientation more systemic. Consequently, the correlation between service orientation and performance can be identified and more effective guideline for service quality management can be draw through this study. The findings of this paper are as followings; Firstly, it is found that reward system and CEO's vision toward service orientation affect employee's job satisfaction positively, It's analyzed on Gap analysis model of PZB. Secondly, in point of inner marketing, employee who is satisfied with his job shows higher customer orientation. Thirdly, strategy change of organization in response to environment change in hospital industry influences on performance positively.

다문화가족 자녀생활서비스 방문교육지도사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구: 개인 특성과 근무 특성 변인 중심으로 (Job Satisfaction of Visiting Supervisors for Multicultural Families in Charge of Childcare Services: Focusing on Personal and Job Characteristics)

  • This study was designed to investigate variables influencing the job satisfaction of visiting supervisors for multicultural families in charge of childcare services. It focused on personal characteristics including personal and job characteristics. The subjects in this study were 784 visiting supervisors for multicultural families in charge of childcare services in 140 multicultural family centers located across Korea. The job satisfaction of these visiting supervisors was measured using a self-administered questionnaire, and the collected data were analyzed using a frequency analysis, analysis of variance, and post hoc tests. The findings of this study were as follows: first, these visiting supervisors showed a relatively high level of job satisfaction. However, the job satisfaction subscales of treatment and salary were relatively low. Second, the results revealed significant differences in effects of the variables related to the personal characteristics of the visiting supervisors, such as their age, education level, and their major in college, on their total job satisfaction and subscales (job performance, treatment and salary, work ethic and aptitude). Finally, the results revealed significant differences in the effects of the variables related to the job characteristics of the visiting supervisors, such as their responsibilities, career, number of children to handle, and age of children to handle, on the total job satisfaction and subscales (treatment and salary, relationship with caregivers).

최고경영자 팀이 의료기관의 성과에 미치는 영향 (Top Management Team Heterogeneity, Interaction and Organizational Performance in Korean Hospitals)

  • This study empirically analyzed the effects of the Top Management Team (TMT) on organizational performance. We verified whether the age heterogeneity, job heterogeneity (core career, core function and major), and process (communication and integration) of the TMT affect organizational performance (management performance and healthcare service quality evaluation level). We collected data about 473 members of the 2006 TMT in 81 medical institutions. We also utilized statistics of organizational performance from the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs and the Korean Institute of Hospital Management. Results of the study showed that the age heterogeneity of TMT exerted a negative effect on the healthcare service quality evaluation level, while the process exerted a positive effect. However, the age heterogeneity, job heterogeneity, and process had no influence on management performance. We discussed the implications of such outcome of the investigation in comparison with the former studies on TMT and organizational performance, and presented its restrictions and future plans.

특급호텔주방의 위생관련 시설 및 설비에 대한 중요도 인식에 따른 조리사의 위생관리 직무수행도 평가 (Perceived Importance of Kitchen Equipment and Facilities on Cook's Hygienic Performance in Deluxe Hotels)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of the perceived importance of kitchen equipment and facilities on the hygienic performance of cooks in deluxe hotels. Cooks and chefs at 7 different deluxe hotels participated in this study. Out of 490 questionnaires administered, 456 (93.1%) were completed and 419 (91.9%) were analyzed using a statistical package SPSS 12.0. The results were as follows. First, the correlation between sanitary equipment, including HACCP system, in the hotel kitchens and the hygienic management performance confirmed the significant effect of the sanitary equipment on the performance of the cooks and chefs. Second, the sanitary facilities in the hotel kitchens greatly affected the hygienic management performance. The results also demonstrated that the sanitary equipment provided the same contribution to the performance irrespective of the job level, management type and HACCP practice. However, the sanitary facilities greatly affected the management type expecially the chain hotels. The hygienic management performance did not affect the cooking stage (before-cooking and during-cooking), but affected the after-cooking stage according to the management type and the HACCP practice, but not the job level.

국내 건설회사의 안전관리 수준분석 및 향상방안 (Assessing the Safety Management Performance of Korean Domestic Construction Companies and Improvement Plans)

  • This paper presents the safety performance of Korean domestic construction companies including the characteristic and current status of safety management actions of the firms. Safety performance both at the head office and job sites of each construction companies, which are divided four groups by construction capacity ranking, are investigated. General recognition that there is a wide difference of safety performance among domestic construction companies by construction capacity ranking was confirmed by comparing the safety performance at the head office and the job sites of the companies under the study. Data analysis shows that the safety performance of the group I and II has the largest difference, and this difference of the group II and III and group III and IV are gradually decreased, respectively. This paper presents the safety performance improvement measures, which is applicable to safety management components consisting of both the head office and job sites safety management systems of each group (e.g., I, II, III and IV) suffering the lack of safety performance.
