The fourth industrial revolution and so on, the manufacturing environment is based on the latest IT technology, and ICT-based convergence that links with various industrial fields is actively proceeding. For this reason, convergence security based on changing environment in the field of security is emerging as a new issue, and various demands for convergence security are increasing. Such changes in the industrial environment not only provide advantages of convergence environment, but also cause various fusion and complex security problems. In particular, the government is actively promoting policies to build 10,000 smart plants by 2020, and has implemented projects to build 2,800 smart plants from 2014 to 2016. Therefore, we will examine the security threats and countermeasures against smart factories that are being built on the basis of ICT rather than the existing closed type.

In the rapidly changing society since the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the cultivation of convergence talents that can solve complex problems is emerging as an important issue. The purpose of this study is to propose the core competencies required to establish the program learning outcomes of the engineering and education curriculum, which is the accreditation standard of engineering education proposed by ABEEK(Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea). Case study methodology was applied to achieve the purpose of the study. The case of analysis is design and software convergence majors of domestic and foreign universities. The educational objectives and course syllabi were analyzed. As a result of the research, four core competencies to be achieved in the design and software convergence majors were derived in addition to the ten program outcomes presented by ABEEK. New core competencies are convergence ability, creative thinking, entrepreneurship, and design ability. The result of this study is expected to contribute to the development of the evaluation system for the convergence engineering education field.

Recently, the Korean government develops a variety of policies for the improvement of school education. Among the policies, convergence education is considered as essential. Moreover, as the policies declare that mathematics is expected to play a central role in the convergence education, mathematics educators are required to seek for ways of how to approach convergence education in mathematics. In this context, this paper reviewed diverse viewpoints on what kind of contribution convergence education make to the improvement of school mathematics. While the argument constructed around the issue of national competitiveness is the most prevalent in the political discourse, this paper recommends to introduce the epistemological norms raised by the knowledge integration through history. In addition, this paper presents both domestic and international programs to discuss how to develop educational program for convergence education in mathematics.

As of March 2017, fake news is largely focused on political issues. Outside the country, main issues of the fake news have been a hot topic in the US presidential election in 2016 and emerged as a new political and social problem in countries like Germany and France. In Korea, issues of the fake news are also linked with political issues such as presidential impeachment and prosecution, impeachment quota, early election, etc. This phenomenon has recently led to the production and spread of fake news related to safety and security issues as well as political issues in connection with various methods of generating articles and sharing information. As a result, there is a high possibility that the information will be transformed into information that can cause considerable confusion to the public. Therefore, the recognition of such problems means that it is important at this point to consider the related situation analysis and effective countermeasures. To do this, we tried to make accurate and meaningful analysis for the diagnosis, analysis, forecasting and management of issues utilizing Big Data. As a result, it is found that the fake news is continuously generated in relation to the safety and security issue as well as the political issue in the South Korea, and differs from the general form occurring outside the country.

Realtime search words of typical portal sites appear every few seconds in descending order by search frequency in order to show issues increasing rapidly in interest. However, the characteristics of realtime search words reordering within too short a time cause problems that they go over the key issues of the day. This paper proposes a method for deriving a key issue through association analysis of realtime search words. The proposed method first makes scores of realtime search words depending on the ranking and the relative interest, and derives the top 10 search words through descriptive statistics for groups. Then, it extracts association rules depending on 'support' and 'confidence', and chooses the key issue based on the results as a graph visualizing them. The results of experiments show that the key issue through association rules is more meaningful than the first realtime search word.

The fashion industry is accountable for labor and environment-related issues. With such issues raised, consumers' social responsibility for environmental and labor issues has become an important factor that shapes the perception of companies. This study investigates the relationship between consumer values, concerns regarding social issues, and willingness to pay a premium for ethical fashion products. This study included two exogenous variables of altruistic value and egocentric value. In the conceptual model, consumers' social responsibility was conceptualized as two constructs of environmental consciousness and labor-issue consciousness. It was then analyzed as mediating variables. Willingness to pay a premium for ethical fashion products was the endogenous variable. Data was collected and analyzed with PLS-SEM from 600 consumers. The assessment of discriminant validity and construct validity using CFA were conducted before analyzing the model. Structural equation modeling results revealed that altruistic value directly influenced environmental consciousness and labor-issue consciousness. However, egocentric value was directly and significantly influenced only by labor-issue consciousness. Both environmental and labor issue consciousness directly influenced customers' willingness to pay a premium, but did not significantly change their willingness to pay a premium. Two-stage serial mediation analysis results indicated that the constructs did not have a significant mediation effect on the exogenous variables (altruistic value and egocentric value) and the endogenous variable (willingness to pay a premium) for ethical fashion products. This study found the influence of consumer's personal values on their willingness to pay a higher price for ethical fashion products.

The emergence of the internet causes the electronic trade of movies, music, software and other digital content products to be an eminent share of international commerce. The purpose of this study is to examine legal issues of electronic commerce chapters of the Korea US FTA and tasks of the digital contents industry. Results of the study show that several implications based on the industry are offered. The Korean government needs to do the following: settle of classification issue in digital contents, settle of customs issue in digital contents, settle of issue of non-discrimination principle in digital contents, settle of exclusion issue in audiovisual services, improve of global competitiveness, unify of export support system, establish of overseas expansion strategy in genre and regional contents, train of global experts and protect of intellectual property in digital contents.

Supporting emergency services (ES) for VOIP services in the Internet is a critical feature. It requires international standards since the VOIP services over the Internet has no national boundaries. Recently, standard development organizations such as the IETF, the IEEE 802 committee and the WiMAX Forum (WMF) have worked on this issue. In this paper, we review and compare ES architectures proposed by the IETF and the WMF, and summarize the IEEE 802's relevant activities.

Adaptive memory management is a serious issue in data stream management. Data stream differ from the traditional stored relational model in several aspect such as the stream arrives online, high volume in size, skewed data distributions. Data skew is a common property of massive data streams. We propose the predicted allocation strategy, which uses predictive processing to cope with time varying data skew. This processing includes memory usage estimation and indexing with timestamp. Our experimental study shows that the predictive strategy reduces both required memory space and latency time for skewed data over varying time.
