'기공'의 국외 임상연구 최신동향: 스코핑 고찰을 중심으로 한 예비연구 (Analysis of Clinical Study Trends on 'Qigong': A Preliminary Scoping Review)

  • Objectives: The objective of this study was to perform a scoping review to describe clinical study trends on Qigong in order to identify further directions of Qigong in Korean medicine. Methods: Under the Arksey and O'Malley methodological framework, PubMed was searched to identify articles published from January 1, 2019 to June 28, 2021. A total of 224 articles were retrieved. Results were systematically filtered by two independent reviewers based on inclusion/exclusion criteria. Publication information, disease, intervention and research results of a total of 153 articles were extracted and analyzed. Results: Asia had the largest number of Qigong studies (82 studies, 65%). Most research studies were conducted in the academic field of Medicine (n=109, 86.5%), including Complementary and Alternative Medicine (n=35), Medicine (miscellaneous) (n=15), and Oncology (n=15). Based on ICD-10 classification, Mental and Behavioral Disorder (n=25, 19.8%) was the most frequently analyzed decease, followed by Neoplasm (n=24) and Disease of the Nervous system (n=12). Almost half of all studies were Systematic Reviews. RCTs only accounted for 25.4%. Interventions were very diverse and inconsistent. Sixty (47.6%) studies analyzed Qigong as a single intervention. In 66 cases, Qigong was analyzed as part of a large category such as Mind-Body intervention. Most studies designed a Donggong (動功) program. The age of the population was relatively high as 47.1% of all studies were conducted on middle aged or older adults. Conclusions: These findings suggest that further standardized research on Qigong, especially Junggong (靜功), needs to be conducted by developing research protocols and practice programs to verify effects of Qigong and utilize Qigong as a medical intervention in Korean Medicine.

통합적 고찰을 통한 간호사들의 직업 관련 근골격계 질환 중재 (Integrated Review for Interventions of Musculoskeletal Symptoms and Pain on Nurses)

  • Purpose: This was integrative literature review for analyzing interventions of musculoskeletal symptom and pain on nurses. Methods: Data were searched by using databases, namely SAGE journals, EBSCOhost, PubMed, RISS, NDSL and KCI Search terminology included nurse and musculoskeletal and the language was Korean or Engli.sh. Data analysis was classified by risk of bias, inconsistency, indirectness and imprecision. Total six studies, one Korean and five English articles analyzed. Results: Risk of bias was serious in three of six studies. Regarding inconsistency, one study was moderate effect size and two studies were small effect size. There was no serious indirectness except one study. Regarding imprecision, three studies were not serious. Conclusion: Evidence from six studies was insufficient to support intervention's effect in means of no repeated studies and no high effect size of intervention. Evidence-based interventions must be applied on nurses for reducing musculoskeletal symptoms.

자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 문제행동에 대한 긍정적 행동지원 중재 연구의 체계적 고찰: 단일대상연구 설계를 중심으로 (A Systemic Review of Positive Behavior Support Intervention Studies on Problem Behaviors of Children With Autism Spectrum Disorders: Focusing on Korean Single-Subject Research Design)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 문제행동 개선을 위한 긍정적 행동지원 중재 연구 중 단일대상연구 설계를 적용한 문헌의 특성을 살펴보고 질적 수준을 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 문헌연구로써, 분석 대상은 2011년부터 2020년까지 국내에서 게재된 9편의 단일대상연구 논문이었고, 대상 논문을 연구방법의 내용에 따라 일반적 특성과 질적 수준으로 나누어 분석하였다. 결과 : 대상 논문을 분석한 결과, 연구 대상은 취학 전 아동과 초등학령기 아동이 동일한 비율로 나타났고, 연구 설계는 중다 기초선 설계 중 행동 간 중다기초선 설계 연구가 가장 많았다. 모든 논문에서 사회적 타당도, 중재 충실도, 관찰자 신뢰도를 제시하고 있었고, 문제행동은 자해 및 공격행동, 방해행동, 자리이탈행동, 음식 거부 및 구강자극 행동 순으로 나타났으며, 종속변인은 부분 간격 기록법으로 측정한 연구가 가장 많았다. 중재 효과 확인 결과, 중재, 유지는 중재 결과가 효과적이었으나, 일반화의 결과와 효과를 제시한 연구는 제한적이었다. 분석 논문의 질적 수준은 모든 연구에서 높은 질적 수준을 보이고 있었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통해 자폐스펙트럼장애 아동의 문제행동을 위한 긍정적 행동지원 중재 연구 중 단일대상연구 설계를 적용한 논문의 내용과 질적 수준을 확인하고 긍정적 행동지원 중재가 자폐스펙트럼장애아동의 근거기반 중재를 위한 효과적인 중재임을 확인할 수 있었다.

극놀이 영역의 환경구성 및 교사의 역할이 유아의 문해행동에 미치는 효과 (Young Children's Literacy Behavior in Dramatic Play: The Effects of Literacy-Enriched Play Settings and Teacher's Intervention)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the intervention of a literacy environment influences young children's literacy behavior in dramatic play. Four classrooms at S kindergarten and Y kindergarten in Seoul were randomly selected for this study. Each of the classrooms was designated as an experimental group: that is, experimental group A (38 children), experimental group B (34 children), experimental group C (35 children) and a Control group (40 children), respectively. Group C was provided with literacy materials, theme of dramatic play and teacher's intervention. Group B was provided with literacy materials and theme of dramatic play. Group A was provided with only literacy materials. It was found that the intervention of the literacy environment in dramatic play brought about an increase in children's total literacy behavior, increase in the frequency of children's reading behavior, and increase in the frequency and function of children's writing.

블록놀이와 문식성 통합 활동이 유아의 문식성 행동에 미치는 영향 (Integration of Block Play and Literacy: Effects on Children's Literate Behaviors)

  • This study investigated children's literate behaviors in a block play area, in a block play area enriched with literacy materials, and in enriched block play with teacher intervention. The subjects were twelve 5-year-old boys who were emergent readers and writers. The results showed that literate behaviors increased in the enriched environment, compared to the non-enriched environment, and literate behaviors increased dramatically after teacher intervention in the enriched environment. The results of this study suggest that teacher intervention in block play enriched with literacy materials contributes to children's development of literacy.

간호학에서 치료적 중재(therapeutic intervention)에 대한 개념분석 (A Concept Analysis of Therapeutic Intervention in Nursing)

  • Purpose: This concept analysis was done to clarify therapeutic intervention in nursing. Methods: For this study the process of Walker & Avant's concept analysis was used. Twenty-nine studies from electronic data bases met criteria for selection. Results: Therapeutic intervention can be defined by the following attributes: 1) goal-oriented, 2) forming a therapeutic relationship, 3) reinforcement of coping ability, 4) patient-centered, 5) a holistic integrated approach. The consequences of therapeutic intervention were improvement of quality of life, coping skills, self-care. Conclusion: Attributes of therapeutic intervention identified in this study can be applied to develop tools for measuring therapeutic nursing behaviors or to develop therapeutic nursing intervention programs for patient or family.

어린이집에서 실시된 정서조절 프로그램이 유아의 정서조절 능력 및 사회적 행동에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of an Emotion Regulation Training Program on the Emotion Regulation and Social Behavior of 5-year-olds)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop an intervention program for the improvement of the emotion regulation of 5-year-olds and to analyze the effects of this program on their emotion regulation and social behavior. The participants consisted of 56 5-year-olds from two day care center located in a metropolitan area of Korea. The experimental group (n=28) participated in the intervention program, and the comparative group (n=28) did not. This intervention program was developed to deal with peer relationships, and consists of activities designed to cover all domains of the Korean National Early Education Standard. The emotion regulation and social behavior were measured before and after the experiment. The data were analyzed making use of ANCOVA. Our results indicate that this program had the effect of improving the emotion regulation and social behavior on the part of 5-year-olds.

Parent-Implemented Behavioral Interventions for Challenging Behavior of Young Children with Developmental Disabilities: A Review of Effective Approaches

  • Addressing challenging behavior in young children with special needs is an important issue. This study analyzed the results of literature on parent-implemented behavioral interventions designed to manage the challenging behavior of children with developmental disabilities under 8 years of age. Seventeen relevant studies published in peer-reviewed English journals during the last 15 years were selected for review. The literature review showed that adequately trained parents can serve as a competent intervention agent, thereby making significant contributions to mitigating children's behavior problems. The reviewed studies also demonstrated that parents could play a variety of important roles such as informants and trainers in behavioral interventions. However, the conclusions on parent-implemented behavioral intervention may be tentative rather than conclusive due to previous research limitations including the lack of treatment integrity and social validity data. In addition, this review discussed several implications for practitioners, indicated the limitations of the reviewed studies, and presented suggestions for future research.

정보제공이 외래 의식 하 수술, 시술 환자의 불안에 미치는 영향: 체계적 문헌고찰 (Effects of the Provision of Information on Anxiety in Patients during Outpatient Surgery: A Systematic Review)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the research methods, contents, and effects of providing information to alleviate patients' anxiety during outpatient surgery. Methods: The PICOTS-SD (Participants, Interventions, Comparisons, Outcomes, Time, Setting, Study design) was used and 11 randomized controlled trials studies that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected. For assessing the quality of the studies, the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool was used. Results: In the 11 selected studies, intervention methods included verbal, written paper, video, and websites, and the outcome variable was anxiety. Regarding the effectiveness of providing information on anxiety, the result of the present study was ambivalent. Conclusion: This study showed the current trends in providing information as an intervention. However, randomized controlled trials are further needed in Korea, to verify the effects of such an intervention on patients' anxiety.

불안장애 대상자에게 적용한 비약물적 중재효과 메타분석 (Meta-Analysis of the Effects of Nonpharmacological Interventions for Anxiety Disorder)

  • 본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 불안장애에 적용된 비약물적 중재요법의 효과크기를 알아보고 대상자 중재에 근거기반한 객관적 자료를 제공하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내 주요 DB를 이용하여 불안장애에 대하여 비약물적 중재를 제공한 2,690편의 논문 중 불안과 우울을 종속변수로 하여, 선정기준에 적합한 최종 23편의 논문을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 검색어는 '불안장애(anxiety disorder)', 중재(treatment or intervention)'를 이용하여 2015년 5월까지 출판된 논문을 검색하였다. 분석은 랜덤 효과모형을 이용하였으며, 불안과 우울의 효과크기를 각각 산출하였다. 본 연구에서 비약물적 중재의 불안에 대한 효과크기는 Hedges's g=1.693, 우울에 대한 효과크기는 Hedge's g=1.571로 큰 효과크기를 보였다. 본 연구는 국내에서 시행되고 있는 불안장애에 적용한 비약물적 중재효과에 대한 연구결과를 체계적으로 종합하고, 그 효과크기를 객관적으로 제시하여 간호중재에 적용할 수 있는 근거를 마련하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.
