In order to improve the sustainability and smart construction, it is discussed arguably that developing and applying consistent "standard model" to plan business, design, construct and operate a building is considered to be one of the effective and efficient approach. The scope of this article is to examine, from the international developer's perspective, the "standard model" approach of a hotel brand to building projects in the UK, and also to explore potential role of project team to mitigate any local difference at the project level. These projects are developed by the same developer adopting the same business plan, design and operation to each project. In order to clarify the actual and likely difference in construction results, reference is also made to those building projects located in other geographical markets including Japan, Germany and USA, and focus is given on the analysis of its programme and cost. Principle findings are that there exists geographical difference especially in environmental and planning system, and that major local difference is found at least in the programme at the design stage. In contrast, the difference in the building cost itself may not be necessarily considered major if currency exchange rate being taken into account appropriately. It is also observed that there were cases where any difference in the programme was mitigated by taking different approach to procuring and defining roles of management and professional team at the project level. In conclusion, from the international developer's perspective, the geographical difference of the "construction system" surrounding building projects can typically lead to major prolongation of programme, however, these different construction results could be mitigated at least to a certain extent by introducing appropriate changes to the role of project team.

CALS is recognized as a national response to the new chapter of information society. It is essential that the standardization in Korea should be constructed compatible with not only domestic but also international standardization trend. This study aims to propose a proper direction of CALS standardization in Korea, based on the international CALS standardization movement. This paper classifies standard into five types and provides a proper direction and guidance far each standard. As a trend of CALS standard, all ten data files are converted using SGML standard far the interchangeability of data among heterogenous systems. CAD and Graphic data arc also moving toward to the STEP as their standard. In this regard, this paper discusses how to implement SGML and STEP Model. Finally, this paper proposes a method how to construct an EDI system with CALS standard and how to establish a standard authorization institute which will be responsible far the standard authorization. Furthermore, this paper also proposes the CALS Test Network (CTN) as its experimental method.

Franchising has proved over many years to be a successful commercial vehicle for the international distribution of products and services. However, there has long been missing a user-friendly model contract that would reflect the diversity of international franchising contracts. Because the ICC has drafted a model form of international franchising contracts, taking into account the most commonly encountered clauses in franchising agreements, their model could be used as a checklist of the core obligations of a cross-border franchise contract. Because there is no internationally agreed-upon uniform legislation on franchising, parties must rely on national laws and regulations applicable to the international franchise (when such laws and regulations exist) and should therefore very carefully draft stipulations for the legal status of the contract. This study has been intended to cite some provisions for striking a fair balance between the interests of the franchisor and those of the franchisee and for avoiding unfair trade acts in international franchising contracts.

This study aims to examine the effects of international trade in intermediate input on the implications of international business cycle properties in Korea. To do this, I have extended standard one goods New Keynesian international business cycle model to incorporate the role of intermediate inputs. After constructing the DSGE model, I have analysed the impulse response function and varian decomposition results. The results show that the model could introduce a new channel, that is, "cost channel" like Eyquem and Kamber (2014). In other words, the model has changed the dynamics of aggregate inflation by the cost channel. When the trade in intermediate goods increase, which is measured by openness of foreign input, the volatility of output, consumption and inflation increase two or three times. However, the model itself fails to explain the full account of cycle behavior of historical data, but the results imply that the trade in intermediate input assumption can help to improve the forecasting ability of international business cycle models.

This paper describes a design and implementation of the DFR(Document Filing and Retrieval) system. one of applications of DOAM(Distributed Office Application Model) which is the international standard in ISO(International Standards Organization). On the basis of the international standard, the DFR system is implemented on SUN workstation and PC/386 with C language, and its implementation is verified by tracing the association descriptor and primitives of service elements when its operation is tested between client and server. The result of this study shows that the DFR system can be implemented on the basis of the international standard, and makes a contribution toward the establishment of functional standards for the DFR system.

RFID applied in many area. I think that RFID enlarge for our life more and more. The application technology of RFID change the Mobile RFID using mobile phone and PDF etc. I think, Mobile RFID enlarge application technology gradually. In this paper, we propose the quality measurement metrics for mobile RFID middleware. I propose the quality testing model for interoperability and security of mobile RFID middleware. We examine the international standard for mobile RFID and software testing. In this paper, I proposed the evaluation model of mobile RFID middleware on the basis of international standard ISO/IEC 9126-2 and ISO/IEC 25000 series.

In today's R&D environment, as the complexity of IT systems increases and the expected quality level for R&D outcomes enlarges, it has been critical issues for us to effectively define and improve the R&D standard processes tailored for our organization and projects. To meet this needs, we defined the R&D standard processes based on the international standards for systems and software engineering and our existing traditional work methods, and then applied them of our ongoing projects. Now, we are improving our defined R&D standard processes continuously by monitoring of the processes and products and through the feedback of the application results. In this paper, we introduce the R&D standard process model developed by our organization (E research Institute in Korea) and the requirements and approaches used for their development and improvement. We compare our defined R&D standard processes with ISO/IEC 15288 which is the international standards for systems engineering and summarize the lessons learned through their development and improvement.

This study suggests the organization-level standard(model and process) for quality evaluation of information systems(IS) in non-use organizations despite international standards(ISO/IEC 9126 and ISO/IEC 14598) and national standards(KS X 9126 and KS X 14598) related to quality evaluation of IS. The standard in this study is composed of quality evaluation processes, a quality model, and quality metrics. The weights of the attributes and the sub-attributes in the quality model were calculated by an analytic hierarchy process(AHP). The minimum level and the target level of each metrics were determined by brainstorming of the committee. Furthermore, the case study for the investigation of the applicability and the usability of the suggested organizational standard in the real IS development project was performed. For gaining significant benefits of the standard, both the diffusion and the experience accumulation by its continuous use are needed.

Research on the Development of EPUB SCP(Secure Content Protection) Technical Specification and International Standardization has been carried out as a R&D project granted by the Korea Copyright Commission since 2014. The research aims to build a standard framework for the EPUB DRM(Digital Rights Management) based on the Readium LCP(Licensed Content Protection) and KS EPUB DRM specifications, to develop element technologies for the framework, and to standardize it as an IDPF(International Digital Publishing Forum) industrial standard. One of the essential features of the EPUB DRM developed though this study is to support the lending model of the digital library. This paper introduces LSD(License Status Document) specification which is a DRM license management protocol for the digital library lending process, and also represents a model which can automatically test the implemented entities of the LSD specification, test scenarios and test materials.

국제표준인증은 제품 및 서비스를 공급하는 공급자의 국제표준인증 기준에 만족하는 정도를 평가하여 공급자의 품질보증능력과 신뢰성을 인정함으로써 다양한 분야에서 발생 가능한 국제무역규제를 해소하고 글로벌 파트너십의 네트워크 강화에 중요한 기여를 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제표준인증을 획득한 우리나라 수출입 제조기업 153개 기업을 대상으로 설문을 수거하여 연구를 진행하였고, 연구방법은 구조방정식모형(Structural equation model)으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 가설검증 결과 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 글로벌 무역공급망 통합에 있어서 국제표준인증 요인 중 자원관리 요인이 CRM만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 국제표준인증 요인 중 측정, 분석 및 개선 요인이 CRM만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, CRM만족도는 기업의 경영성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 우리나라 수출입 기업들은 글로벌 무역공급망관리에서 글로벌 비즈니스 파트너십의 국제표준인증 획득 여부는 기업의 사업성과를 향상시키는데 있어서 중요한 요인으로 작용한다는 연구결과가 도출되었다.
