Adopting the Tools of Liberalism and Clash of Civilizations theories of international relations, this study examines the perceptions of 25,406 Arabs in 11 Arab countries as expressed in an Arab Barometer survey exploring their perceptions of violence against the United States (US), American citizens as "good," President Donald Trump's foreign policy in the Middle East, increasing economic relations with the US, and welcoming American foreign aid. As aspects of the Clash of Civilizations theory, this study examines religiosity, religious ritual practices, and political Islam and, as aspects of liberalism, this study explores the roles of online media as well as perceptions about US foreign aid in the prediction of the criterion variables. The findings suggest that religious indicators, and aspects of the Clash of Civilizations generally, were negative predictors of the perceptions, while social media and motivations for US foreign aid as aspects of liberalism, positively predicted the perceptions. The study discusses the results in relation to implications for policy makers.

One of the important areas of state policy in the socio-economic and cultural development of the country is cultural diplomacy. It contributes to the information dissemination about the country, strengthens interstate relations, and forms a positive image. Through cultural diplomacy, we achieve a positive perception of the world community of the country, determined by its place in the modern system of international relations. The aim of the study is a comparative analysis of cultural diplomacy opportunities for sustainable development at different levels of public relations, as well as the impact of cultural diplomacy opportunities on the indicators of the Global Sustainable Competitiveness Index and the Global Sustainable Development Index. Regarding the results of the research on the impact of cultural diplomacy opportunities on the indicators of the Global Index of Sustainable Competitiveness and the Global Index of Sustainable Development, four groups are identified among the countries of the European Union: countries with a very high level of sustainable competitiveness and sustainable development; countries with a high level of sustainable competitiveness and sustainable development; countries with low levels of sustainable competitiveness and sustainable development.

In the scientific research, the object of research is a complex of legal relations, which are formed by the use of modern digital technologies. The subject of this work is the novelties of Ukrainian and foreign legislation, norms of international law aimed at regulating social relations in the field of digital rights, as well as doctrinal provisions and materials of law enforcement practice. Within the framework of this work, two types of digital rights are distinguished, those that exist in the law of Ukraine, and the issues of law that apply to legal relations, regarding the turnover of each of them, are considered. Examples of law applied in foreign countries are given for comparison. On the basis of a comprehensive study of the legal framework and positions of scientists, the prospects for the development of legal regulation of digital rights were noted.

This study tests the applicability of concepts of integrated leadership-in-government and follower happiness in South Korea and then comes up with implication and limitations on the applicability based on the study of Mathias et al. (2018). The study adopts eight leaderships: accountability, rule-following, political loyalty, network governance, task-oriented, relations-oriented, change-oriented and diversity-oriented leadership that Mathias et al. (2018) employ from Fernandez et al. (2010) and Tummers and Knies (2016). We also select job satisfaction and self-perceived performance to measure follower happiness depending on Mathias et al. (2018). According to the analytical results, it shows that accountability leadership, network governance leadership, task-oriented leadership, relations-oriented leadership, and change-oriented leadership have positive influences on follower happiness measured. Based on the analytical results, this study suggests implication and limitation on the applicability of the link between integrated leadership and follower happiness in comparison to the results from Mathias et al. (2018).

This study intends to examine gender differences in predictors of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination intention based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Specifically, this study investigated whether the variables constituting TPB might show differential effects on college men and women's HPV vaccination intention. The current study also examined which specific subjective norms are more influential in explaining HPV vaccination intention of men and women. The results of an online survey revealed that females showed significantly higher intention to get the HPV vaccine and perceived behavioral control than male students. Female students' vaccination intention was best predicted by perceived behavioral control whereas friend norm was the most influential predictor of male students' intention to get the HPV vaccine. The results of this study provide implications for persuasive strategies required to appeal to college men and women to increase HPV vaccination rate.

Through literary research, this study aims to study chinese characters in the Chosun Dynasty from the perspective of international exchange. While sorting out the historical materials, it investigates the implementation organ, educational content and main characteristics of Chinese education in the Chosun Dynasty, its influence on the Korean peninsula at that time and Its enlightenment to today's Chinese international education. The results show that the Chinese language education institutions in the Chosun Dynasty mainly played the role of Chinese language education in the Si service academy and the Sheng Wen Academy. The contents of Chinese language education mainly include the development of oral Chinese teaching materials, the publication of rhymes and other reference books, the compilation of dictionaries and the training of Chinese translators. Through the in-depth study of Chinese rhymes, the Korean Peninsula created its own Korean national character in 1443, getting rid of the will of Chinese characters. The invention of Korean language has greatly encouraged the political, economic and cultural development of the Korean peninsula. In addition, the Chinese language education in the Chosun Dynasty provides a good experience for today's Chinese international education in China.

The purpose of this thesis is to develop a relational model which can explain consumer selection for exporting goods and analyze the effect of corporate image on the relations between country image and consumer selection under global trade environment. The specific objectives are as follows: 1) to suggest a concept of consumer selection and measurement criteria, 2) to analyze correlations among country image, corporate image and consumer selection and 3) to find out the effect of corporate image on the relations between country image and consumer selection. The SPSS program for window and LISREL program were used to analyze the data for this study. The statistical method used in this study was the covariance structure analysis estimating parameters by maximum likelihood method. Path coefficients were tested for t-tests with a statistical significance level of .05. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, significant correlations were observed among all sub-variables proposed in this study. In addition, significant correlations were detected among country image, consumer selection and corporate image. Second, a hypothetical model proposed in this study was mostly appropriate. Country image had a positive direct effect on consumer selection and corporate image with statistical significance. In addition, it has an indirect impact on consumer selection with statistical significance with corporate image as an intervening variable. Third, corporate image had a significant moderation effect in country image-consumer selection relations. As corporate image levels increased, the effect of country image on consumer selection increased as well. In other words, it has been confirmed that if corporate image levels are high, country image could end up with consumer selection.

This paper analyzes the technological advancements of military drones and their subsequent effects on modern warfare and international relations. It first examines the historical development of military drones and analyzes the key features and advantages of contemporary military drones. The paper then explores the changes in warfare tactics and military strategies brought about by drone technology, along with discussing the legal and ethical issues related to drone usage. Finally, recent war cases and country-specific responses are reviewed to evaluate the current operational status and impact of military drones. This study offers recommendations for the development of drone operations within the South Korean military and addresses the legal and ethical challenges posed by drone warfare on the international stage.

This study examines the relations among wage differentials, trade, and productivity in Korea, using the methodology of Granger causality and vector error correction modelling. Cointegration test results over the 1975-2004 period indicate that all the test variables are cointegrated. Therefore, wage differentials, trade, and productivity are all related in the long run. We found some evidence on long-run relationship, while there is no short-run relationship between three test variables. First, trade and wage differentials have positively and bi-directionally Granger causality in the long-run. Second, productivity Granger causes negatively wage differentials in the long-run. Finally, productivity Granger causes positively trade in the long-run. These results explain partially the current theoretical predictions for wage inequality as well as supports the productivity-led growth hypothesis in the Korean economy.

The purpose of this paper is to study on relations between alliance types and firm's characteristics in Korean semiconductor industry to prevent trade disputes. The recognition of firms' business strategies tend to be subjective and there is a limitation to use the guiding principles due to subjectivity. If there are additional guiding principles which view strategic alliances in relation to more objective characteristics associated with firms, such as their size, function, scope, and location, they will be useful tools for executives and managers in their business practices. We analyze strategic alliances how firms; external characteristics become decision factors for selecting appropriate forms of strategic alliances. Previous research works with focus on alliance forms are reviewed, then an analytical framework is described with certain categorization of firms' characteristics and alliance forms.
