  • The aim of this study is to provide basic data that can contribute to improving successful clinical adaptation and reducing turnover of new graduate nurses by analyzing research related to reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses using text network analysis. The topics of reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses were extracted from 115 papers published in domestic and foreign journals from January 2002 to December 2021. Articles were retrieved from 6 databases (Korean DB: DBpia, KISS, RISS /International DB: Web of science, Springer, Scopus). Keywords were extracted from the abstract and organized using semantic morphemes. Network analysis and topic modeling for subject knowledge structure analysis were performed using NetMiner 4.5.0 program. The core keywords included 'new graduate nurses', 'reality shock', 'transition', 'student nurse', 'experience', 'practice', 'work environment', 'role', 'care' and 'education'. In recent articles on reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses, three major topics were extracted by LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation) techniques: 'turnover', 'work environment', 'experience of transition'. Based on this research, the necessity of interventional research that can effectively reduce the reality shock experienced by new graduate nurses and successfully help clinical adaptation is suggested.

  • As that experienced in other developing countries, Mongolia has already faced multilateral side issues for two decades due to economic growth that created Ger areas or internationally 'Slum', public housing and living conditions for low-income citizens, on the basis of rapid migration from rural areas to urban. Ger areas appear to be the main cause of environmental pollution problems and impending comfortable living conditions of the city's residents by covering more than half area of Ulaanbaatar city. Also, the spread of the Ger areas has many side issues such as prevention of urban development and unaesthetic. Most inhabitants of the areas are on low-incomes, and living in the detached houses or felt yurts (Ger) usually build within a low budget, by themselves or unprofessional people, and by using materials of poor quality. Therefore, Ger areas are an inevitable issue that requires effective, proper and immediate housing policy coordination under the government and even the housing market. Unfortunately housing policies, laws, and projects adopted by Mongolian government have shown inefficient results. The government housing policies, unlike other developing countries did not target low-income households' housing which is the priority issue for two decades. But only in 2014, the Long-term housing policy with the strategy for affordable housing initiated the housing policy for low-income households. This policy has five main broad directions such as redevelopment of Ger area, the land readjustment, public rental housing, new settlements and new city and reconstruction for old apartments, which are rather general and would require tremendous financial resources if each of the directions is implemented simultaneously without prioritization. Therefore this research aims to suggest the efficient and adequate housing policy direction for the low-income households in Ger area based on achievement of other developing countries' strategies, performances and generic characteristic with explanatory models. Also, this research adopts a literature analysis method that uses various research reports, related papers in domestic and international journals, and theses by experts, researchers, public institutions, and agencies.

  • Authorship is important for research integrity and publication ethics, acting as the basis for credit and academic achievement. Moreover, publication achievements have a significant impact on research grants and academic careers. Inappropriate authorship has been reported for several reasons, including complex interests and competitive environments. One form of this is representative authorship misuse, which includes honorary and ghost authorships. Kin co-authorship, such as parent-children authorship, is another form of inappropriate authorship that has recently emerged as a social problem in Korea. To address these issues, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) has established criteria for authorship. Similarly, many journals use the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT) and Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) systems to prevent authorship misuse and systematically evaluate author credit and responsibility. Herein, this article reviews authorship and inappropriate authorship, as well as introduces methods to avoid authorship misuse.

  • Since Rigollet first discovered a comet in 1939, many follow-up observations have been made, particularly in Europe. It is now known that the Rigollet comet is identical with the one observed by Herschel in 1788, and thus it is now called 35P/1939 O1 or the Herschel-Rigollet comet. Yumi, a Japanese astronomer, also observed the Rigollet comet in Korea using a 6-inch refractor telescope, and published his data in two Japanese journals (Bulletin of the Observatory of the Government-General of Korea and Publication of the Lecture on Meteorology). In his paper, Yumi also referred to observations by Hirose and Kanda in Japan. However, their works have not been given attention by international society. In this study, we analyze the observation data of Yumi and present preliminary orbital elements using it with a modified Gauss method. We expect that this study will be used to refine the orbital elements of the Rigollet comet by orbital-calculation experts. For that reason, we have also transcribed all the observational data presented by Yumi.

  • This study began to classify the studies on 'culture' in the field of environmental design overall. The classifying process adopted not the approach to preselect the criteria but the phenomenological inductive approach and content analysis method focusing on environmental design in order to understand which place the environmental design had taken. As a result, following aspects were reviewed: what is the area in which the studies on culture is made under the environmental design; what is the trend of using the word 'culture' in terms of logical connection; what is the level of approach to culture from the viewpoint of search, correspondence or application stage. On the whole, followings were drawn as conclusions. First, the interest of the studies on culture has been increased with time especially in the field of interior design. Second, the word 'culture' has become to be used a lot as 'cultural', and was used together with traditional, enterprise and material. Lastly, culture was studied at a starting point by and large. Although the papers, the objects of this study, are confined to five kinds of journals, the analysis of them is helpful to preestimate the trend of studies on culture because they have propensity to lead the international professional academic world.

  • In this study, pathfinder network analysis has been carried out to identify subject domains of documents which cited articles in the ASIST Proceedings. This represents how articles in the ASIST Proceedings are flowed and used in what subjects areas. For this analysis, 240 documents were selected through a search of the Scopus database. The complete linkage clustering method was used to draw out 16 clusters from 240 documents. Through MDS and pathfinder network analysis, knowledge networks of clusters have been produced. As a result. articles in the ASIST Proceedings relating to knowledge management, bibliometrics, information retrieval and digital libraries have been cited actively by other publications. The most frequent citation flow type of ASIST proceedings was citation from proceedings(ASIST) to reviews(ARIST), via journals, and the most popular subject areas related to documents were bibliometrics.
