면세점 판매 채널이 다양화되고 스마트 여객 증대 등 쇼핑 성향의 변화로 인해 인천공항 면세점 객단가는 하락하고 있다. 면세점 매출액 감소에 따라 사업 다각화 및 고도화 등 대응 노력이 필요하다. 따라서 인천공항 면세점 이용객의 쇼핑 행태 및 면세점 트렌드 변화에 적기 대응을 위한 기초자료 및 마케팅 강화 방안을 제시하는 데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 인천공항 면세점 내·외국인 구매자/비구매자, 환승객을 대상으로 쇼핑실태를 심층 조사하여 행동 특성을 분석하였으며, 그 결과 내국인과 외국인, 환승객별로 인구통계학 특성, 여행 특성, 쇼핑 특성에서 차이가 나타났다. 인천공항 면세점 이용객별 중요하게 인지하는 요소와 만족하는 요소를 파악하고 개선할 부분을 파악하였다. 이로써 인천공항 면세점 운영정책 수립 및 기본방향 설정을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있고, 인천공항 면세점 마케팅 강화 및 활성화를 위한 전략 방안을 제시하는 데 의의가 있다.

The back-filled soil of the New Incheon International Airport construction site was reclaimed with sea sand in near the Young-Jong island. The primary study was carried out from August 1993 to June 1997 to study soil amendment and to select salt resistance turfgrass species. This study dealt with low maintenance area that included most part of open space of airport site. The second experiment, from October 1996 to August 1998, focused on soil amendment and selection of turfgrass species for alongside runway where turf area was maintained. Through two previous studies, propagation methods with zoysiagrass were tested for alongside runway and surrounding areas at 1998. The study of construction methods with zoysiagrass, vegetative propagation showed better results on visual quality and cover rating compare with seeding propagation. However, significant different between vegetative and seeding propagation was not showed on visual quality and drought tolerance after one year of plot establishment. The cover rating by seeding construction methods reached in excess of 70% of limitation suggested by the Incheon International Airport Cooperation. Zoysia net and sprigging net methods were the most suitable where there requires rapid and high rate of ground cover. Seeding propagation should be acceptable to obtain a resonable cover rating where there allows relatively longer period of completion. Therefore, it should be possible to attain a proper rating of ground cover on the site of open space, alongside runway or areas similar to the New Incheon International Airport which is being built on dredged seashore sand. However, the methods of soil amendment, selecting salt tolerance species, and proper construction procedure should be considered at the a time.

The purpose of this study verify to the effect of applying the X-ray screening ability rating for security screening persons in Incheon International Airport. Data collected through a evaluation score of 1,034 security screening persons in Incheon International Airport. Data analysis performed using paired sample t-test. The research results found that it was a statistically significant difference pre-test and post-test applying the X-ray screening ability rating. In this article, we asserts that the X-ray screening ability rating is effective in improving the X-ray screening ability of security screening persons. This paper contribute to the academic expansion of motivation theory and self-determination theory. This study is valuable as a preemptive empirical research that provides practical implications about the application of X-ray screening ability rating for security screening persons.

Aircraft fires due to accident at an airport may be under a special situation. An outstanding characteristic of aircraft fires is their tendency to reach lethal intensity within a very short time. In domestic aviation act, there are regulations related to services coping with the aircraft accidents within an airport. To cope aircraft fires, it is necessary to define clearly the regulations and standards about the services and related activities of rescue and fire fighting, and to keep the regulations and standards. The study has been performed on the basis of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Airport Services Manual of rescue and fire fighting. The objective of study is to suggest improvement methods for standards applicable to actual service practices of rescue and fire fighting by analyzing through the comparison of domestic and international regulations and standards.

The term "Privatization" has a different meaning in different contexts and cultures. In this paper, the term "Privatization" in the context of airports is defined as the movement of an entity from the government sector to the private sector. This is the definition that is commonly employed in the U.S. Airport revenue can he divided into two sub-categories of aeronautical revenue and non-aeronautical revenue. At many of the major international airports, however, non-aeronautical revenue has been growing faster than the aeronautical revenue, contributing an increasingly larger share of the total revenue. And the best way to enhance simultaneously the airport operations. With the remarkable growth in the air traffic volume of pssengers and cargo. more and more mega-international airports have been built or are under construction. As the air transport demand is expected to increase at an even greater rate in the 21st century, new types of airports which will be free of current major problems. such as airport congestion and flight delays are badly needed.

인천공항은 2001년 개항이후, 비약적으로 발전하고 있으며, 2018년 약 6500만 명의 여객을 수용하는 등 초대형 메가허브공항으로 도약 중이다. 2018년 인천공항은 제2여객터미널을 개장하며, 인천공항에 대한 언론과 대중의 관심을 증폭시켰고, 평창동계올림픽 개최와 남북정상회담을 통해 대한민국 중추공항으로서의 이미지를 각인시켰다. 인천국제공항공사는 인천공항의 건설 및 관리, 운영, 주변지역개발, 부대사업 및 기타 국가위탁사업을 하는 국토교통부 산하 공공기관으로 2018년 입국장 면세점 도입, 정규직 전환 등의 이슈를 생성하였다. 본 논문에서는 뉴스, SNS 수집, 저장, 처리, 분석플랫폼인 ITAP를 이용하여 인천공항, 인천국제공항공사 관련된 뉴스, SNS 내용을 플랫폼별로 분석하였고, 월별 버즈량과 주요키워드를 플랫폼별로 추출하여 2018년 인천공항, 인천국제공항공사의 주요 이슈를 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 인천공항 Airside와 Landside에 위치한 자산의 효율적인 관리를 위한 사물인터넷(IoT) 기반 스마트 자산관리 시스템의 구성과 실증을 제시한다. IoT기반 스마트 자산관리시스템은 위치정보를 생성하는 IoT 태그와 게이트웨이, 수집된 위치정보를 수신하고 표출하는 서버로 구성되어 있으며, IoT 태그를 자산에 부착하여 자산의 실내외 위치정보를 자산관리 시스템에서 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다. 실내 위치정보는 BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy)를 통해 취득하며, 실외 위치정보는 GPS와 LoRa(Long Range)를 통해 취득 가능하다. 개발한 시스템의 성능 검증을 위해 인천공항 제1여객터미널 내 기설치된 AP를 활용하였으며, 공항 전역을 커버할 수 있는 LoRa Gateway를 설치하였다. 개발한 자산관리 시스템은 공항이 보유한 자산의 도난 방지 등 효율적인 관리 와 공항운영에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

Incheon International Airport(IIA) is planned to open in about two years. Korean government has an ambition to make IIA a major hub airport in Northeast Asia. The most essential and required condition for an airport to be a successful hub airport in a certain region is to have more efficient flight service network than the other airports in the same region. IIA should compete with Japanese airports to be a major hub in Northeast Asia because Japanese government also has a plan to expand greatly the airport capacity in Tokyo area and Kansai airport in Osaka. It is necessary for both IIA and Korean national air carriers to compose efficient flight service network considering hub competition with Japanese major airports. As the liberalization of international air transport industry would give more marketing freedom to airlines, they would plan the flight service network and flight schedule based on market analysis instead of governmental regulations. In the economically liberalized environment, it is very required to analyze air passengers' flight choice behaviour in order to induce other carriers and passengers through IIA's attractive flight service network. Disaggregate model is more appropriate than aggregate model to analyze consumers' behaviour. The information derived from disaggregate choice model of air passengers could be utilized in devising efficient flight network and schedule plan. Value of travel time or trade off ratio between flight frequency and travel time which could be estimated from discrete choice model could be utilized for scheduling an efficient flight plan for airlines and composing efficient flight service network for IIA.

This research seeks to investigate transfer passengers' service evaluations of an airport. Transfer passengers are important for many airlines and hub airports because the needs of transfer passengers are quite different from O&D passengers. Despite the increasing importance of transfer passengers for airport operations, little research has been done to analyze their needs toward airport services. The data are collected from Japanese and Chinese transfer passengers to investigate airport services at Incheon International Airport. Through the survey, this research investigates the effects of important airport service attributes on customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions.
