  • Recently, polishing tile(porcelain homogeneous polished tile) was used in the construction field as a finishing material. But, there happened some problems such as tile exfoliation by construction condition in early ages. Also, for use of polishing tile in the dry wall system which used to lightweight wall, the examination of adhesive stability of polishing tile is needed. In this study, adhesive strength of Polishing tile was investigated by tile bond types on gypsum board and non asbestos board coated by tar-urethane and Polymer modified cementitious waterproofing membrane(Series I). Then, the effect of heat stress and vibration was estimated on gypsum and non asbestos board(Series II). As the result of study are the follows; (1) Polishing tile(600$\times$400mm) construction on waterproofing layer : Both laboratory estimation and spot examination sieve were happened that fall of tile because their hardening speed is late. (2) To using powder style adhesives in the dry wail with waterproofing layer : Adhesive strength of tile is Influenced by interface bond area and base side condition. (3) Shock and heat stresses : obvious decline of adhesive strength is not happened

차세대 저궤도 소형위성 적용을 위한 전력시스템 설계 (Power System Design for Next Generation LEO Satellite Application)

  • In this paper, one general approach is proposed for the design of power system that can be applicable for next generation LEO satellite application. The power system consists of solar panels, battery, and power control and distribution unit(PCDU). The PCDU contains solar array modules, battery interface modules, low-voltage power distribution modules, high-voltage distribution modules, heater power distribution modules, on-board computer interface modules, and internal DC/DC converter modules. The PCDU plays roles of protection of battery against overcharge by active control of solar array generated power, distribution of unregulated electrical power via controlled outlets to bus and instrument units, distribution of regulated electrical power to selected bus and instrument units, and provision of status monitoring and telecommand interface allowing the system and ground operate the power system, evaluate its performance and initiate appropriate countermeasures in case of abnormal conditions. We review the functional schemes of the main constitutes of the PCDU such as the battery interface module, the auxiliary supply module, solar array regulators with maximum power point tracking(MPPT) technology, heater power distribution modules, spacecraft unit power distribution modules, and instrument power distribution module.

고온초전도 SQUID 신호 검출을 위한 3채널용 FLL 회로 (Integrated 3-Channel Flux-Locked-Loop Electronics for the Readout of High-$T_c$ SQUID)

  • We designed and constructed integrated 3-channel flux-locked-loop (FLL) electronic system for the control and readout of high-T$_{c}$ SQUIDs. This system consists of low noise preamplifiers, integrators, interface circuits, and software. FLL operation was carried out with biased signals of 19 KHz modulated current and 150 KHz modulated flux, which are reconstructed as detected signals by preamplifier and demodulator. Computer controlled interface circuits regulate FLL circuit and adjust SQUID parameters to the optimum operating condition. The software regulates interface circuits to make an auto-tuning for the control of SQUIDs, and displays readout data from FLL circuit. 3-channel SQUID electronic system was assembled with 3 FLL-interface circuit boards and a power supply board in the aluminum case of 56 mm ${\times}$ 53 mm${\times}$ 150 mm. Overall noise of the system was around 150 fT/(equation omitted)Hz when measured in the shielded room, 200 fT/(equation omitted)Hz in a weakly shielded room, respectively.y.

  • 본 논문에서는 가정 내의 전화선을 이용한 홈 네트워크 기술인 10Mbps HomePNA(Home Phoneline Networking Alliance) 20 PHY 회로의 설계 및 그에 대한 검증방법을 보여 준다. HomePNA 2.0 PHY 회로는 MII(Media Independent Interface)와 AFE 인터페이스에 의해 외부와 연결된다. 설계된 10Mbps HomePNA 2.0 PHY의 회로의 전체 구조는 Management block IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD MAC(Media Access Control) block, 변조 및 복조 block으로 크게 구성된다. 설계된 회로는 프로토타입 FPGA PCB 보드를 이용하여 검증하였다. 또한, Linux 기반의 드라이버 프로그램을 개발하여 HomePNA 프레임 데이터 전송의 기본적인 동작을 확인하였으며, HomePNA 2.0 링크 계층 프로토콜의 RNCF(Rate Negotiation Control Function)에 의하여 전송속도의 변화를 확인하였다.

원자력 발전소 주제어실 인터페이스 설계를 위한 인적오류 분석 기법의 보완 (A Modification of Human Error Analysis Technique for Designing Man-Machine Interface in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • This study describes a modification of the technique for human error analysis in nuclear power plants (NPPs) which adopts advanced Man-Machine Interface (MMI) features based on computerized working environment, such as LCOs. Flat Panels. Large Wall Board, and computerized procedures. Firstly, the state of the art on human error analysis methods and efforts were briefly reviewed. Human error analysis method applied to NPP design has been THERP and ASEP mainly utilizing Swain's HRA handbook, which has not been facilitated enough to put the varied characteristics of MMI into HRA process. The basic concepts on human errors and the system safety approach were revisited, and adopted the process of FMEA with the new definition of Error Segment (ESJ. A modified human error analysis process was suggested. Then, the suggested method was applied to the failure of manual pump actuation through LCD touch screen in loss of feed water event in order to verify the applicability of the proposed method in practices. The example showed that the method become more facilitated to consider the concerns of the introduction of advanced MMI devices, and to integrate human error analysis process not only into HRA/PRA but also into the MMI and interface design. Finally, the possible extensions and further efforts required to obtain the applicability of the suggested method were discussed.

  • Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)/Inertial Navigation System (INS) integrated navigation systems provide highly accurate and reliable navigation solutions and are widely used as civil and military navigation systems. In order to facilitate the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system development task, a simulator can be used to provide inputs for the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system. In this paper, a simulator design using general-purpose Personal Computer (PC) and Off-The-Shelf (OTS) interface boards for a GNSS/INS integrated navigation system is proposed and implementation results are presented. Requirements of the GNSS/INS integrated navigation system simulator are presented and a design method that satisfies the requirements is described. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed design method, a simulator using a general-purpose PC and OTS interface boards for the GPS/INS integrated navigation system are implemented and verified. The implementation results show that the simulator designed by the proposed method generates the GPS L1 C/A signal and IMU data without any problems.

  • In this paper, position and speed control algorithm of LSM (Linear Stepping Motor) using general-purpose PCI I/O board is discussed. The main purpose of this paper is to show that LSM controller can be established on the non real time operating system such as Microsoft Win2000 under the assumption that thread priority strategy is well designed. We can guarantee sampling interval less than 5msec based on the Pentium III microprocessor. Therefore this kind of LSM controller development environment makes shorten the prior research period needed to verify the validness of the proposed control strategy. We also introduce the tool of the real-time windows target system of matlab, which also makes shorten the prior research period. The main focus of this paper is on developing general purpose NT device driver which can drive the general purpose PCI board and applying it for implementing the hardware interface for 2- axis linear stepping motor control. From the experimental results show that the developed LSM controller guarantee 2 micrometer resolution in position control with 10cm/sec moving speed

  • This paper presents the information transmission between on-board and ground-site in MAGLEV. considering safety and high speed operation and density operation, information transmission between them is necessary. Therefore it is necessary for transmission system to ensure high speed transmission, low error rate, massive information, and reliability of information. To provide above conditions, 1.1km signal line assembly was constructed and Frequency Shift Keying(FSK) modulation and Open System Interconnection(OSI) based high-level data link control(HDLC) protocol are applied. To modulate digital signal for transmission from ground-site to on-board, carrier frequency of 70kHz is used and 90khz is used for transmission from on-board to ground-site. Transmission speed is 2400bps for consideration of train speed, quantity of information, and data error rate. And this paper introduces information monitoring considering user interface and presents the method for an effective data transmission in MAGLEV which is now being tested and intends to provide for an intelligent train operation system in future.

  • TRIO-CINEMA(TRiplet Ionospheric Observatory-Cubesat for Ion, Neutron, Electron & MAgnetic field)는 지구근접공간에서의 미세 자기장 변화 및 중성입자의 검출을 목적으로 경희대학교와 UC Berkeley가 공동 개발하는 초소형위성이다. 초소형위성은 내부 공간이 협소하여 효율적인 공간배치 및 위성체발사 시 진동에도 견딜 수 있도록 harness가 제작되어야 한다. CINEMA는 OBC, EPS, 배터리, 수신기, IIB(Instrument Interface Board), MAGIC(MAGnetometer Imperial College) board, HVPS(High Voltage Power Supply)로 구성된 avionics bus와 MAGIC, STEIN(Supra Thermal Electron, Ion, Neutral)의 payload, Solar panel, UHF와 S-band 안테나로 구성되어 있다. Solar panel에서 생산된 전력은 EPS를 통해 배터리에 저장되고 PC104를 통해 avionics stack의 각 board로 전력이 분배된다. IIB는 탑재체 파트와 연결되어 이를 제어하고 HVPS에서 STEIN에 공급되는 고전압은 특수 와이어를 통해 연결되며 UHF 안테나와 S-band 안테나는 RF 케이블로 수신기와 송신기가 연결되어 있다. 각각의 harness는 케이블타이와 lacing tape로 위성체와 고정되며 커넥터는 고정 지지대를 제작하여 나사로 체결하였다. CINEMA에 적용된 harness는 진동시험과 열진공시험을 통해 harness와 시스템의 안정성이 검증 되었다.

  • The VAL 208 in Uijeongbu Light Rail system is a light railway vehicle which could be operated in driverless supported by Siemens. It is a Rubber Wheel Type AGT (Automatic Guideway Transit). It will be operated in two car train about 11km of Uijeongbu line. In this paper, the technical overview of the ATC system and the interface between the system and the way side control equipments are presented. It includes the main functions of OBCU(On Board control Unit) and its information sharing method with WCU(Way side control Unit). The testing procedure of OBCU is also discussed.
