The Development of Contents Systems on Major Course Materials for Technical College in Electric-Electronic Field (전문대학(專門大學) 전기.전자분야(電氣.電子分野) 전공교과(專攻敎科)의 컨텐츠 체제(體制) 개발(開發) 방향(方向))

  • The main purpose of this study is to prepare an outline for developing the Contents Systems that achieve self-study systems to make the students adopt themselves into new study atmosphere and maximize the result of study on technical college in Electric-Electronic field. Questionnaire posed to analyze the demand of teaching materials to the students, and professors and also to find characteristics of students in technical college. The SPSSWIN/PC+ statistics Package was used to assay the collected answers. And simple frequency with percentage, average, and standard deviation were calculated to check the entire trend and actual state of each question. The primary outcomes of this study are as follows i) The students in the technical college prefer self-directed learning to lecturer-oriented teaching. ii) It is difficult to offer the technical college students normal education systems since the students?interest and motivation towards study are very low. iii) The lack of capability of foreign language and basic mathematics are considered as obstacles for many students technical college to study. iv) The professors in technical college still depend on traditional method to teach the students without organized research of the intellectual levels and attitude the students. v) Teaching materials in currently use are not appropriated to induce the motivation and interest of study from the students. Also, the teaching materials in use now were discovered not to have enough originality, practical application, andwere text based. Therefore, the improvement of the existing teaching materials was demanded while the fundamental ability to study of general students is declining. Consequently, it is necessary to introduce new teaching materials which are simple, easy, and organized to offer the studen ts study desire and interest.

Soft Dollars and Conflicts of Interest in Equity Funds in Korea (소프트달러와 주식형 펀드의 이해상충)

  • This study analyzes the relationships between soft dollar(brokerage commission) and characteristics of funds, and between brokerage commission and return on funds, using the data on equity funds of Korea from June 2008 to November 2011. The result confirms a statistically significant negative relationship between management & sales fees and brokerage commission, meaning that rather than raising management & sales fees, which could be easily recognized by investors, it is through brokerage commission, a hidden cost, which asset management firms indirectly compensate for their services. Meanwhile, the analysis on the relationship between brokerage commission and return on funds reveals that higher brokerage commissions lead to lower return on funds, meaning at least in short-term no contribution to increasing returns in the future. These results suggest the need for streamlining the system to alleviate conflicts of interest between investors and management firms in addition to effectively controlling for principal-agent problems.

Concerns of Home Economics Teachers on Ohio's Work and Family Life Curriculum (미국 오하이오주의 실천적 문제 중심 모형을 적용한“일과 가족생활 교육과정”에 대한 가정과 교사의 관심도)

  • The objective of this study were 1) to determine the stages of concern of HE teachers about the practical problem-based curriculum approach, as illustrated by the Ohio's Work and Family Life Curriculum (W&FLC); 2) to determine the relationships between home economics (HE) teacher's stages of concern about W&FLC and personal and professional characteristics of HE teachers; and 3) to determine aspects of interest about the practical problem-based curriculum approach, such as the Ohio W&FLC. Respondents in this study were 225 HE teachers. The data were collected during the in-service teacher training sessions after presentation about W&FLC. Concerns Based Adoption Model (CBAM) was modified to provide a conceptual framework for this study. Frequencies, SD, mean, mode, range were used to determine the stages of concern of HE teachers. To determine the relationships between stages of concerns and personal and professional characteristics of HE teachers, coefficient of Chi-Square contingency tables was used. Content analysis was used to determine aspects of interest about the practical problem-bsed curriculum approach, such as W&FLC. The median of the stages of HE teachers' concerns about W&FLC was Stage 1, Information Stage. About 60% of HE teachers were interested in learning more details about W&FLC. Chi-square revealed no statistically significant relationships between stages of concerns about W&FLC and characteristics of HE teachers. Content analysis was used to determine aspects of interest about W&FLC of HE teachers. Nine categories were found: content, teaching strategies, implementation of the curriculum, philosophical framework, how to adopt W&FLC, resource materials, students' outcomes, in-service teacher training, and HE teacher organization. The majority of HE teachers were interested in relationships with family and others, resource management, family relationships, personal development, communication skill, family life, creating a self-identity, life planning, roles of family members, homemaking management, child care, and parenting.

  • The general learning method aims at conveying knowledge by conveying the contents of the learning set to numerous of learners. However, such a method is difficult to induce the interest of the learner, and the unilateral delivery method has a disadvantage in that the concentration of the learner can be lowered and the overall academic achievement can be lowered. In order to solve this problem, the gay learning method which induces the interest of the students themselves is studied, and the gay learning game which combines the education and the game can influence the learning by inducing the interest of the student. In this paper, we propose a method to prevent the forgery and falsification of the blockchain, which has been widely discussed by the 4th Industrial Revolution, as a card game, And suggests ways to contribute to the development of the process.

  • Recently with the advent of Web 2.0 mashups are Web services, a new concept is in the spotlight. Mashups with Web services, such as a new concept for the purposes of an individual's social networking community type social network service web service coming seeping deep into our lives was a huge pillars. The structure of the network of one-way, tweeter and horizontal moves are also suitable for biased information. People from twitter's vast social network that matches their area of interest and share information with people who are wanted. In this paper, we develop the smart retweet mashup service that matching areas of interest for the purpose of sharing information between people. To selectively share information and consideration, additional information is required. Information derived from user-specified area of interest by region and share information is selectively targeted.

  • With the development of economy, people's self-interest about one's appearance has been increasing. Among them, especially interest of fashion in women's clothing market is increasing very. By increasing interest of women's appearance, requirements of various women's fashion marketing ways are increasing and the women's fashion market is expanding as much as it is. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the strategies for marketing activation in women's fashion after consideration of general women's fashion marketing strategies. Also, we build a web site to implement the strategies. Through the activation of the marketing strategies, marketing in a women's fashion market is expected to be competitive.

  • This study focuses on how NHK, a Japanese public broadcasting company, has promoted the public interest through the contents of its serial dramas including "morning dramas." Study results indicate that NHK has made utmost efforts to promote public interest in accordance with the programing regulations stipulated in the Japanese Broadcasting Art. The study shows that NHK has adopted policies to protect transitional cultures of the past and to promote new cultures through drama contents. NHK has shown its intention to protect traditional cultures by broadcasting completely not only the values that Japanese people have upheld but also traditional cultures and people's professional spirits of Japan. The study also shows that NHK makes efforts to contribute to community development with the drama contents. It appears that NHK attaches a great importance on its public promise with viewers by early fixing and well observing the broadcasting season, period, and time of morning dramas in an efforts to promote their public interest.

The Effect of AI Experience Program Using Teachable Machine on AI Perception of Elementary School Students (Teachable machine을 활용한 인공지능 체험 프로그램이 초등학생의 인공지능 인식에 미치는 영향)

  • Artificial intelligence is at the heart of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Education must change in order to develop the capabilities necessary for future AI-based societies. This study developed and applied artificial intelligence experience classes using Teachable machine to elementary school students, and analyzed changes in artificial intelligence understanding and interest among students. Among the 10 artificial intelligence classes, 4 classes used various artificial intelligence education platforms, and 6 classes focused on Teachable machines. Before and after the application of the program, students' interest and understanding in artificial intelligence were examined. Quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted together. Studies have shown that both students' interest and understanding of artificial intelligence has improved since the application of the program. Furthermore, based on the findings, we propose a follow-up study for the development of artificial intelligence training programs.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the age of artificial intelligence, the development of ICT technology is having various effects on the online and offline educational environment. The universal access of online education changes the educational paradigm and converts it to a learner-centered service. At the time when a new educational environment is required to change, interest in flip learning is increasing. Even adult learner's online learning needs is also shown very high. The purpose of this study was to investigate how repetitive learning activities through flip learning for middle-aged online learners of K-Cyber University has a relationship and structural relationship between the effects of learning immersion and learning interest on learning satisfaction. Through this study, there is significance in research to suggest direction for learning satisfaction based on flip learning. For further studies, if a model of analysis of various factors that can be measured is specified and applied, it can be used as a research background that can maximize learning satisfaction based on flip learning.

  • The present study aimed to identify predictors of Youtube creator's Willingness to work as a profession. This work is notable, given its prevalence in preference as an occupation due to the development of information and communication technology. In the present work, a survey study was utilized and respondents' perception of job values, interest, self-esteem as well as willingness to work were measured. The results from a multiple regression analysis indicate that, realistic type (-), artistic type (+), corporate type (+) job value and job interest were significantly predictive of willingness to work. This study discussed implications including the need to establish career support services for YouTube creators as a profession and further for differentiated approaches based on job values or individual tendencies. The result from the current work is important, in that this study identified the willingness and influential factors of YouTube creators from a professional perspective, reflecting the recent growing interest in YouTube creators.
