본 연구는 뷔페형 카페테리아 식당에서 근무하는 직원들이 계산 업무를 덜고 조리 업무에 집중하여 업무 성과, 직무만족도를 높일 수 있도록 돕는 카페테리아 무인계산시스템을 제안한다. 무인계산시스템의 작동과정은 크게 두 가지이다. 첫째, 식판을 가져오면 그 위의 음식들을 촬영하여 음식 부분의 ROI(Region of Interest, ROI) 이미지를 추출해낸다. 둘째, 미리 학습된 모델에 앞서 추출한 ROI 이미지를 입력하여 식판 위에 어떤 이미지들이 있는지 분석한다. 그 후 해당 음식과 가격을 GUI로 출력하여 사용자가 확인 후 결제할 수 있도록 한다.

With the introduction of the new generation RFID technology, EPCglobal Class-1 Generation-2, there is considerable interest in improving the performance of the framed slotted Aloha (FSA)-based tag collision arbitration protocol. We suggest a novel time-optimal anti-collision algorithm for the FSA protocol. Our performance evaluation demonstrates that our algorithm outperforms other tag collision arbitration schemes.

Development of science technology, computer network and software technology has not only changed various areas of the society, but also brought rapid change in the condition and the way of performing war. Historical lessons learned from the war in Iraq tells that military capabilities corresponding to the new paradigms of war needs to be assured in order to preserve national interest and take victory in future warfare. Thus, the performance in the latest war in Iraq, the estimated performance in future war and the performance of war in the Korean Peninsula has been put together and analyzed to indicate the direction our force should be built and the structure to be improved. Under all circumstances and threats the military must defend our nation and territory. When war breaks out the military must perform it's basic duty to end war by decisive operations. As the saying is "To preserve peace, prepare for war," continuous increase of military strength and improvement of military structure corresponding to the change of national security environment and weapon system is necessary.

Health care has attracted a lot of attention, recently due to an increase in life expectancy and interest in health. Various biometric data of the user are collected by using the air pressure sensor, gyro sensor, acceleration sensor, and heart rate sensor to perform the Smart Health Care Activity Tracker function. Basically, smartphone application is made and tested for biometric data collection, but the Arduino platform and bio-signal measurement sensor are used to confirm the accuracy of the measured value of the smartphone. Use the Google Maps API to set user goals and provide guidance on the location of the user and the points the user wants. Also, the basic configuration of the main UI is composed of the screen of the camera, and it is possible for the user to confirm the forward while using the application, so that accident prevention is possible.

Recently, due to decrease hardware prices and the development of technology, analog signage has been changing to digital signage for providing content such as advertisements, videos. Furthermore, in order to provide advertisements and contents to users more effectively, technical researches are being conducted in various industries. In addition, including digital signage that uses displays, it can be seen that it provides advertisements and contents using diverse devices such as LED signage, smart pads, and smart phones. However, most digital signage is installed in one place to provide contents and provides interactivity through simple events such as manual content provision or touch. So, in this paper, we suggest a new object detection algorithm based on an adjacent frames based image correction algorithm for interactive building signage.

This integrative review of research on the role of toys in the pretend play of young children investigated claims about the relative effects of abstract or unrealistic compared with concrete or realistic toys. Researchers and educators acknowledge the benefits of pretend play as an expression of the child's capacity of symbolic functioning and they attend to strategies for promoting pretend play at each stage of its development, including the selection and presentation of playthings. Highly structured or realistic toys were once thought to impede pretend play because they can only be used for a single intended purpose whereas less structured toys are pliant and hold the child's interest over longer periods of time as new ideas are tried out. However, the present review suggests that realistic toys are effective for very young children who still have limited representational capacity, and that realistic toys continue to give impetus to make-believe even for kindergarten children.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality of the constructive play of 3, 4 and 5 year-old children. The researchers used unit blocks as the instrument because they are the most representative examples of constructive play materials. The subjects were 73 children enrolled in a half-day early childhood education program. The children's block play was videotaped 8 times, for a total of 330 minutes. The videotapes were transcribed and assessments were made on the children's 233 constructions in terms of the developmental stage of block play, the variety of materials used, play duration, and play intensity. The data were analyzed through two-way ANOVA to check age and sex differences. The results showed that children's developmental stages of block play were low on the average and that girls did not show an active interest in block play. The results also implied that block play developed by play experience rather than by age. Therefore, this study was interpreted to highlight the importance of teachers' understanding, planning, and mediation of block play in order to induce high-quality constructive play.

Congratulations on the 40th Anniversary of KAHP, which has made great contributions to the control of parasitic diseases in Korea, and to the development of collaboration with China and other Asia countries aiming at the common interest. The 40 years of KAN/KAHP and its predecessor, Korea Association of Parasite Eradication has composed a brilliant road map to bring the prevalence of intestinal parasite infection from 84.3% in 1971 to the current prevalence of 2.4%, and to endeavor in the promotion of the health of children, man and woman, and low income families in Korea, as well as to generously share the successful experience in parasite control with China during the last half century. Indeed, the 40th birth day of KAHP is marked with great achievements and bright future.
