At this point of time, the most countries in the world take notice of the gifted science education because they believe that the development of a high-grade manpower resources is the only way of the development of their own country. Before the gifted education, however, the study of the gifted characteristics should be achieved first. Analysis of the intellectual characteristic in the research of the gifted characteristic has been accomplished with many of standardized test tool, however, analysis of the non-intellectual characteristics has not been researched with real sources because of the measuring method and the vogue range. • As the usage of information resources produced in various media and forms has been increased, the importance of metadata as a tool of information organization to describe the information resources becomes increasingly crucial. The purposes of this study are to analyze and to demonstrate the intellectual structure in the field of metadata through co-word analysis. The data set was collected from the journals which were registered in the Core collection of Web of Science citation database during the period from January 1, 1998 to July 8, 2016. Among them, the bibliographic data from 727 journals was collected using Topic category search with the query word 'metadata'. From 727 journal articles, 410 journals with author keywords were selected and after data preprocessing, 1,137 author keywords were extracted. Finally, a total of 37 final keywords which had more than 6 frequency were selected for analysis. In order to demonstrate the intellectual structure of metadata field, network analysis was conducted. As a result, 2 domains and 9 clusters were derived, and intellectual relations among keywords from metadata field were visualized, and proposed keywords with high global centrality and local centrality. Six clusters from cluster analysis were shown in the map of multidimensional scaling, and the knowledge structure was proposed based on the correlations among each keywords. The results of this study are expected to help to understand the intellectual structure of metadata field through visualization and to guide directions in new approaches of metadata related studies.

  • The importance of intellectual property is increasing in the knowledge and information era. An organization that embraces technology and strategy is faced with promising opportunities and managerial difficulties. Forecasting the performance of technology and the underlying costs to achieve such performance is even more difficult than before. Those organizations that employ technology as part of their strategic arsenal know that they are running serious risks, which clearly increases the uncertainty of organizational performance. Therefore forecasting the performance of technology is a difficult task since technology has been characterized by intangible and tacit factors and traded in a supplier's market. The decision makers usually face a complex system of interrelated components, such as resources, desired outcomes or objectives. This study intends to evaluate the contribution of technology in intangible assets by the Analytic Hierarchy Process.

  • Generally, the Internet Address Resources Act is intended to protect the public from acts of Internet "cybersquatting", a term used to describe the bad faith, abusive registration of Internet domain names. In determining whether a person has a bad faith intent, a court may consider factors such as, (1) the trademark or other intellectual property rights of the person, if any, in the domain name, (2) the extent to which the domain name consists of the legal name of the person or a name that is otherwise commonly used to identify that person, (3) the person's prior use, if any, of the domain name in connection with the bona fide offering of any goods or services, (4) the person's bona fide noncommercial or fair use of the mark in a site accessible under the domain name, (5) the person's intent to divert consumers from the mark owner's online location to a site accessible under the domain name that could harm the goodwill represented by the mark, either for commercial gain or with the intent to tarnish or disparage the mark, by creating a likelihood of confusion as to the source, sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of the site, (6) the person's offer to transfer, sell, or otherwise assign the domain name to the mark owner or any third party for financial gain without having used, or having an intent to use, the domain name in the bona fide offering of any goods or services, or the person's prior conduct indicating a pattern of such conduct.
