  • PID control is windely used to control stable processes, However, its application to integrating processes is less common. In this paper, we proposed a stable PID controller tuning method for integrating processes with time delay using model reduction method. For proposed model reduction method, it disconnect an integrating factor from integrating processes and reduces separate process using reduction method. and it connect an integrating factor to reduced model. We can obtain stable integrating processes using P controller in inner feedback loop and PID tuning is then used to cancel the pole of the feedback loop. This guarantees both robustness and performance. Simulation examples are given to show the good performance of the proposed tuning method comparing with other methods.

In this paper, we proposed a simple PID controller tuning method for integrating processes with time delay to meet a sensitive function $M_s$. With the proposed PID tuning method, we can obtain stable integrating processes using PD controller in inner feedback loop and a loop transfer function with desired stable specification. This guarantees both robustness and performance. Simulation examples are given to show the good performance of the proposed tuning method to other methods.

  • Integrating processes are frequently encountered in process industries. In this paper, new tuning formulae of the PID controllers for set-point tracking and load disturbance rejection are presented for integrating processes involving time delay. First, the controller parameter sets are tuned using a real-coded genetic algorithm (RCGA) such that performance criterion(IAE, ISE or ITSE) is minimized. Then, tuning rules are addressed using tuned PID parameter sets. tuning model and another RCGA. The performances of the proposed rules are tested on two processes.

  • Integrating processes are frequently encountered in process industries. Generally they are most commonly associated with level control problems. In this paper, tuning formulae of PID controllers for set-point tracking and load disturbance rejection are presented on integrating processes with time delay. In particular, the controller parameters are determined such that performance criteria(IAE, ISE and ITSE) are minimized. Optimal PID parameter sets are obtained by means of a real-coded genetic algorithm(RCGA) and then tuning rules are addressed using obtained PID parameter sets and another RCGA. The performances of the proposed tuning rules are tested on two processes.

  • Recently, as the importance placed on the design phase of system development has increased, the use of diagrams to design the overall system before implementing the actual program code has seen a proportionate increase. This study focuses on the diverse diagrams depicting organizational processes when integrating multiple processes of individual organizations to form an Inter-Organizational System(IOS). In this study, we attempt to identify the critical representation features of process diagrams that enable the effective integration of Inter-Organizational processes. In particular, the effect of the mapping relationship between the representation features of different diagrams to be integrated was tested empirically in a laboratory setting. The experimental task consisted of integrating the processes of two organization based upon the given process diagrams. Actual business processes were selected from real world cases and process diagrams were formulated based upon existing object-oriented notation. An analysis of the errors committed by the subjects during the integration process indicated that the mapping relationship between the diagram features representing the respective organizational processes had a significant impact upon the final integration outcome. Based upon these results, the present study provides a guideline for process diagrams that are crucial to effective Inter-Organizational process implementation and maintenance.

  • The focus of enterprise collaboration of supply chain management, has changed from integrating and exchanging business information to integrating and managing business processes between business partners. However, the collaboration is difficult due to the inherent complexity such as diverse business processes and dynamic business environments. To settle these problems, a reference model based enterprise architecture framework for the collaboration of supply chains is proposed in this paper. The supply chain collaboration framework is composed of three reference models capturing the different views of supply chain collaboration: supply process reference model, service component reference model, and technology and standard reference model. As the framework adapts the OMG's metadata architecture, the processes in the supply chain can be extended and integrated with other value chains, such as design chains, when it is necessary. Using the proposed framework, business managers can rapidly integrate and manage their business processes with their suppliers and customers.

  • This paper discusses an e-commerce system supporting integrated commerce environments. Generally an e-commerce system advances toward supporting multiple commerce environments. We propose a process programming approach to handle the processes in different environments in integrated manner, which makes an e-commerce system support those environments together. We adopt the technologies from Software Engineering Environment(SEE) to handle processes and environments.

  • Simple tuning methods of PI, PD and PID controller are proposed for an integrating process with time delay. This is based on matching the coefficients of corresponding powers of s in the numerator and that in the denominator of the closed-loop transfer function. For set-point tracking problem, the derived controller is found to be a PD controller which is shown by Lee's tuning rule based on minimizing the performance indexes (ISE, IAE, ITAE) using a real-coded genetic algorithm. A method can be also proposed PI, PID controllers according to tuning parameter lambda $({\lambda})$ similar to IMC method. Simulation example is given to illustrate the set-point tracking and disturbance rejection performance of the proposed method.

  • These days, public attention is being directed to the design processes by which a final outcome can be produced to achieve its goal according to the logical plans, as it is hard to address recent problems in design by the existing intuitive way due to the paradigm shift of design. Thus, this study aims to suggest creative fashion design processes to create a product as a final outcome by intentional and systematic processes. This study showed that design is considered as comprehensive problem solving processes, and it proposes framework of processes by integrating processes of industrial design and fashion design. In addition, this study classified creativity development methods that can be implemented to fashion design into promotion of ideas, breaking out of stereotypes, and extension of search areas. These creativity development methods can be applied to fashion design processes in order to make plans and strategies systematically and help you to choose the best ways to solve problems by processes.
