  • Involving the Ricci curvature and the squared mean curvature, we obtain a basic inequality for an integral submanifold of an S-space form. By polarization, we get a basic inequality for Ricci tensor also. Equality cases are also discussed. By giving a very simple proof we show that if an integral submanifold of maximum dimension of an S-space form satisfies the equality case, then it must be minimal. These results are applied to get corresponding results for C-totally real submanifolds of a Sasakian space form and for totally real submanifolds of a complex space form.

  • In this paper we study CR-submanifolds of maximal CR-dimension by investigating extrinsic behaviors of integral curves of characteristic vector field on them. Also we consider the notion of ruled CR-submanifold of maximal CR-dimension which is a generalization of that of ruled real hypersurface and find some characterizations of ruled CR-submanifold of maximal CR-dimension concerning extrinsic shapes of integral curves of the characteristic vector field and those of CR-Frenet curves.

  • In this paper we derive an integral formula on an (n + 1)-dimensional, compact, minimal contact CR-submanifold M of (n - 1) contact CR-dimension immersed in a unit (2m+1)-sphere $S^{2m+1}$. Using this integral formula, we give a sufficient condition concerning with the scalar curvature of M in order that such a submanifold M is to be a generalized Clifford torus.

  • In this paper we derive an integral formula on an (n + 3)-dimensional, compact, minimal contact three CR-submanifold M of (p-1) contact three CR-dimension immersed in a unit (4m+3)-sphere $S^{4m+3}$. Using this integral formula, we give a sufficient condition concerning the scalar curvature of M in order that such a submanifold M is to be a generalized Clifford torus.

  • In this paper, we define and study warped product skew semi-invariant submanifolds of a locally golden Riemannian manifold. We investigate a necessary and sufficient condition for a skew semi-invariant submanifold of a locally golden Riemannian manifold to be a locally warped product. An equality between warping function and the squared normed second fundamental form of such submanifolds is established. We also construct an example of warped product skew semi-invariant submanifolds.

  • We prove that there exist foliations whose leaves are the maximal integral null manifolds immersed as submanifolds of indefinite locally conformal cosymplectic manifolds. Necessary and sufficient conditions for such leaves to be screen conformal, as well as possessing integrable distributions are given. Using Newton transformations, we show that any compact ascreen null leaf with a symmetric Ricci tensor admits a totally geodesic screen distribution. Supporting examples are also obtained.
