  • The magnetic forming system must be able to store very important electric energy, several tens kilojoules, and flow this energy through the forming coil within some hundreds microseconds. So several hundreds kiloamperes of current can flow through the branch conductor. For the good performance of this type of machine, internal impedance must be minimized. By the computation of distribution of current inside the conductors using integral equation method, we can obtain the inductance and resistance of some dispositions of branch conductors and by comparison obtain some principles for the design of branch conductors in the high power magnetic pulse generator.

  • The emission of external incident field or near device field is important factor of EMI and EMC. In this paper, we apply MOM, using the RWG basis function, to analysis the induced current distribution on the PEC and dielectric plates. The volume and surface integral equations are presented for the electromagnetic wave scattering from plate structures composed of dielectric and conducting objects.

  • A reduced condition for liquid-gas phase transition from the singularity of compressibility is derived using diagrammatic approach and is examined in the hard sphere system. The condition turns out that the Percus-Yevick and the Hyper-Netted-Chain approximation never conceive the idea of phase transition, and explains that the liquid-gas transition does not exist in hard sphere system. The solid-fluid transition is considered on the viewpoint of correlation function and diagrammatic analysis.

  • A solution of the heat equation with a distribution-valued potential is constructed by regularization. When the potential is the generalized derivative of a $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ continuous function, regularity of the resulting solution is in line with the standard parabolic theory.

  • In this paper, we study the geometry of semi-slant lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Kenmotsu manifold. The integrability conditions of distributions D1 ⊕ {V}, D2 ⊕ {V} and RadTM on semi-slant lightlike submanifolds of an indefinite Kenmotsu manifold are defined. Furthermore, we derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the above distributions to have totally geodesic foliations.

  • Fibrous cellulose triacetate prepared from purified cotton under various temperatures was dissolved in the solution of 70%, monochloroacetic acid and it was fractionated using water as a precipitant. Eight fractions were obtained through the stepwise precipitation. Degree of polymerization and molecular weight of each fraction were measured viscometrically. Integral and differential molecular weight distribution curve were drawn for each sample prepared under various temperatures and were carefully observed. On this experimental study, following conclusions were obtained: Fractional precipitation can be carried out for fibrous cellulose triacetate in the solution of 70% monochloroacetic acid using water as a precipitant. The differences on the shapes of molecular weight distribution curve were occured on account of the various acetylation temperatures. At the relatively higher acetylation temperatures, the cellulose was randomly degraded and the portion of low degree of polymerization was increased. Commercial acetate, therefore, may not be prepared at above 40$^{\circ}C$ according to the molecular weight distribution curve regardless of higher viscosity and average degree of polymerization. It was concluded that the optimum acetylation temperature for commercial acetate was approximately 30$^{\circ}C$.

  • Advanced reactor designs often feature longer operating cycles between refueling and new concepts of operation beyond traditional baseload electricity production. Owing to this increased complexity, traditional proportional-integral control may not be sufficient across all potential operating regimes. The prototypical advanced reactor (PAR) design features two independent reactor modules, each connected to a single dedicated steam generator that feeds a common balance of plant for electricity generation and process heat applications. In the current research, the PAR is expected to operate in a load-following manner to produce electricity to meet grid demand over a 24-hour period. Over the operational lifetime of the PAR system, primary and intermediate sodium pumps are expected to degrade in performance. The independent operation of the two reactor modules in the PAR may allow the system to continue operating under degraded pump performance by shifting the power production between reactor modules in order to meet overall load demands. This paper proposes a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy logic-based power distribution system. Two T-S fuzzy power distribution controllers have been designed and tested. Simulation shows that the devised T-S fuzzy controllers provide improved performance over traditional controls during daily load-following operation under different levels of pump degradation.

  • Most secure solutions like cryptography are software based and they are designed to mainly deal with the outside attacks for traditional networks, but such soft security is hard to be implemented in wireless sensor networks to counter the inside attacks from internal malicious nodes. To address this issue, reputation has been introduced to tackle the inside malicious nodes. Reputation is essentially a stimulating mechanism for nodes' cooperation and is employed to detect node misbehaviors and improve the trust-worthiness between individual nodes. Among the reputation models, binomial distribution based reputation has many advantages such as light weight and ease of implementation in resource-constraint sensor nodes, and accordingly researchers have proposed many insightful related methods. However, some of them either directly use the modelling results, apply the models through simple modifications, or only use the required components while ignoring the others as an integral part of the whole model, this topic still lacks a comprehensive and systematical review. Thus the motivation of this study is to provide a thorough survey concerning each detailed functional components of binomial distribution based reputation for wireless sensor networks. In addition, based on the survey results, we also argue some open research problems and suggest the directions that are worth future efforts. We believe that this study is helpful to better understanding the reputation modeling mechanism and its components for wireless sensor networks, and can further attract more related future studies.

  • The present paper addresses a general formulation for the thermo elastic analysis of a functionally graded cylindrical shell subjected to external loads. The shear deformation theory and energy method is employed for this purpose. This method presents the final relations by using a set of second order differential equations in terms of integral of material properties along the thickness direction. The proposed formulation can be considered for every distribution of material properties, whether functional or non functional. The obtained formulation can be used for manufactured materials or structures with numerical distribution of material properties which are obtained by using the experiments. The governing differential equation is applied for two well-known functionalities and some previous results are corrected with present true results.

  • The electromagnetic field distribution within rectangular coaxial transmission lines (RCTL:TEM cells) is calculated using a numerical method. Boundary integral equations(BIE) considering equivalence theorem and extended boundary condition(EBC) in tapered region are used, thereby restricting the operational frequencies (0~130 MHz) below the cell cutoff frequency(130 MHz). The EM fields within NIST TEM cell ($1\times0.6\times2m$) are calculated by this method. The results of the numerical calcuation have a good agreement in the cross-sectional EM field distribution of TEM cell with 2-dimensional analysis results. Based on this method, the first cutoff freque- ncy in high order modes in the cell and the electric field polarization are considered.
