변압기 절연유중 가스 검출장치의 가스 감지 특성 (Gas detection charracteristic of Transformer Oil Gas Detector)

  • To found out the degradation characteristic of transformer insulation, insulation materials and electrodes are deposited into transformer oil. They used to heated and make flashover. Due to the thermal and electrical stress added to insulation materials, the density of carbon dioxide and hydrogen included in transformer oil was increased. The gas density can measured by using the gas density detection equipment of gas sensor and air circulation method.

발전기 고정자 권선의 새로운 절연열화 판정기준 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the New Criteria for Assessing the Insulation Deterioration of Generator Stator Winding)

  • This paper describes the relationship between the various non-destructive parameters and the breakdown voltage for the 17 kV, 300 MVA and the 22 kV, 500 MVA generators stator bars with polyester and epoxy/mica insulation respectively. Also, this study reports the results of an investigation into the factors which can assess the insulation condition of generator stator winding. Furthermore, a new parameter, Partial Discharge Index(PDI), is introduced as the valuable parameter for the assessment of insulation condition. The ratio between partial discharge increment and the stepwise voltage increment from the Discharge Inception Voltage (DIV) at the characteristic or resonant frequency band shows the close relationship between the breakdown voltage and PDI.

실리콘 처리에 의한 수트리 열화케이블의 절연회복 (Insulation rehabilitation of water tree aged cables by silicone treatment)

  • 본 논문은 수트리 열화된 가교폴리에틸렌(XLPE) 절연 지중케이블의 절연회복을 위해 개발된 실리콘 처리 기법의 현장적용 가능성을 검토하기 위해 수트리 열화된 325 $\textrm{mm}^2$ CN/CV 케이블을 수거하여 실리콘 처리하고, 시간의 경과에 따른 절연성능 향상도를 분석한 것이다. 시료 케이블의 절연회복을 평가하기 위해 교류절연파괴시험을 실시했다. 또 실리콘 처리케이블의 평가를 위해 진단시험 및 케이블 특성평가를 수행했다. 실리콘 처리후 1년 경과 시료 케이블올 분석한 결과, 실리콘액(silicone fluid)과 수분이 효과적으로 결합해 절연파괴강도가 상당히 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 실험결과를 종합해 볼 때 수트리로 열화된 케이블의 절연성능 향상에 실리콘 처리가 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

22.9 kV용 변압기 부싱 절연 커버의 실태 조사 및 열화 특성 (The Deterioration Properties and Actual Conditions of Insulation Cover used at 22.9 kV Transformer Bushing)

  • 본 논문에서는 22.9 kV용 변압기 부싱 절연 커버의 실태조사를 실시하였다. 절연 커버에 열적 스트레스를 인가하여 열화 패턴, 열 중량 변화, 적외선 특성 등을 해석하여 전기사고 원인 분석을 위한 근거를 제시하고자 한다. 노출된 변압기 단자를 보호하기 위해 설치한 절연 커버의 크기 및 길이가 부적절한 것이 확인되었다. 절연 커버에 $150^{\circ}C$의 열적 스트레스를 인가한 경우 플라스틱 절연 커버(A, B, D, E)는 심한 변형이 일어났으나, 고무 절연 커버 C는 정상이었다. 열 중량 분석 결과 절연 커버 A는 $307.8{\sim}405.9^{\circ}C$에서 33.3%의 감소가 있었으며, 절연 커버 C는 $258.8{\sim}332.9^{\circ}C$에서 53.7%의 감소가 발생하였다. FT-IR 분석에서 플라스틱 절연 커버는 $CH_2,\;CH_3$, C=O, C=C 결합 구조를 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 고무 절연 커버는 OH, $CH_2,\;CH_3$, C=O, C=N, C=C 등의 결합인 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents experimental data from model windings with different arrangement of coil in order to provide information to design a 22.9 kV class HTS transformer. Before experiment, the composite insulation of two different type of HTS transformers are investigated. The first basic of investigation is a breakdown characteristic of liquid nitrogen and flashover characteristic on the GFRP surface under ac and impulse, The second investigation is insulation design, manufacture and test of model windings. These include a AC withstand voltage test of 50 kV rms and a lighting impulse test of 150 kV at peak.

Fundamental characteristic analysis on 6 T-class high-temperature superconducting no-insulation magnet using turn-distributed equivalent circuit model

  • In order to obtain ultra-high resolution MRI images, research and development of 11 T or higher superconducting magnets have been actively conducted in the world, recently. The high-temperature superconductor (HTS), first discovered in 1986, was very limited in industrial application until mid-2010, despite its high critical current characteristics in the high magnetic field compared to the low-temperature superconductor. This is because HTS magnets were unable to operate stably due to the thermal damage when a quench occurred. With the introduction of no-insulation (NI) HTS magnet winding technology that does not burn electrically, it could be expected that the HTS magnets are dramatically reduced in weight, volume, and cost. In this paper, a 6 T-class NI HTS magnet for basic characteristic analysis was designed, and a distributed equivalent circuit model of the NI coils was configured to analyze the charging current characteristics caused by excitation current, and the charge delay phenomenon and loss were predicted through the development of a simulation model. Additionally, the critical current of the NI HTS magnets was estimated, considering the magnetic field, its angle and temperature with a given current. The loss due to charging delay characteristics was analyzed and the result was shown. It is meaningful to obtain detailed operation technology to secure a stable operation protocol for a 6T NI HTS magnet which is actually manufactured.

  • This paper deals with the effect of mass-spring-mass resonance that is a characteristics of the multi-layered panels in order to enhance sound insulation performance. From theoretical and experimental investigation, it is evident that tuning mass-spring-mass resonance by controlling elastic modulus of the core materials is very important to improve the STC value without increasing the weight of panels, resulting in enhancing STC value more than 10 dB.

  • Power transformer have many unsymmetrical structure and electric field is enhanced in that area. Those unsymmetrical area are not covered oftenly by solid insulating material which is used as a framework specially in gas transformer. By that result there is a possibility to decrease the total insulation class of the transformer. So in this study the electrical characteristic of $FC+SF_6$ mixture gas which is used as coolants for large power gas insulated transformer and its effects on electrical characteristics of structural material are investigated. Also breakdown characteristic with the tension of taping and curvature of the coil are studied which could be used as a design factor of large power transformer.

  • Solid insulation exposed to voltage is degraded by electrical tree process. And the degradation of the insulation is accelerated by voltage application. For this experimental, specimen of electrical tree model is made by XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). And the size of the specimen is 7*5*7 $mm^3$. Distance of needle and plane is 2 mm. Voltages applied for acceleration test are 12 kV to 15 kV. And distribution characteristic of degraded stage is studied too. As a PD detecting and data process, discharge data acquire from PD detecting system (Biddle instrument). The system presents statistical distribution as phase resolved. Moreover the processing time of electrical tree is recorded to know the speed of degradation according to voltage.

  • Electrical characteristic of tracking resistance, volume resistance, insulation breaking strength etc. and mechanical characteristic are required to high voltage insulation insulator silicone rubber. Tracking resistance is adding much ATH to improve tracking resistance as the most important factor among them. But, there is problem that mechanical strength grows worse rapidly adding much ATH. Therefore, this research studied effect that flame retardant gets to tracking resistance during factor that influence to tracking resistance.
