컴퓨터를 이용한 순차 논리 회로의 설계 (동기식 순차 논리 회로의 경우) (Computer Aided Design of Sequential Logic Circuits (Case of Synchronous Sequential Logic Circuits))

  • This paper presents the computer program to design the synchronous sequential logic circuit. The computer program uses the MASK method to get the circuit of optimal cost. The computer program takes as an input, the minimal reduced state transition table where each state has its internal code. As an output,the optimal design of synchronous sequential logic circuit is generated for each flipflop type of JK,T,D, and RS respectively. And these circuits for 4 flipflop types are evaluated and sorted in ascending order of their costs, so that the user can select the proper flipflop type and its circuit. Furthermore,the proposed computer program may be applied to state assignment with its facility of cost evaluation.

통신요금변동의 가격파급효과분석

  • Communications is becoming a vital sector to lead Information Society in the nearfuture. In that sense the price system of its services is now being discussed seriously among the people who are directly and indirectly related to communications development. Input-Output analysis model developed by W. Leontief in early 1930's is a very useful tool to measure the price linkage effects in the national economy, which would be induced from the shift of a certain sector's price. 1980's I-0 table with 19 sectors is rear-ranged and applied to price analysis model, in which communications is treated as a exogenous sector, to see the price impacts generated from a change of telephone rate. With the results of this study, the authorities concerned with price policy can make their decisions more reasonable.

High Throughput Radix-4 SISO Decoding Architecture with Reduced Memory Requirement

  • As the high-throughput requirement in the next generation communication system increases, it becomes essential to implement high-throughput SISO (Soft-Input Soft-Output) decoder with minimal hardware resources. In this paper, we present the comparison results between cascaded radix-4 ACS (Add-Compare-Select) and LUT (Look-Up Table)-based radix-4 ACS in terms of delay, area, and power consumption. The hardware overhead incurred from the retiming technique used for high speed radix-4 ACS operation is also analyzed. According to the various analysis results, high-throughput radix-4 SISO decoding architecture based on simple path metric recovery circuit is proposed to minimize the hardware resources. The proposed architecture is implemented in 65 nm CMOS process and memory requirement and power consumption can be reduced up to 78% and 32%, respectively, while achieving high-throughput requirement.

  • This paper proposed design method of DC link capasitor and leakage inductance of transformer with high voltage cascaded NPC H-bridge inverter. DC link capacitor is designed based on the ripple power between input AC power and output AC power, and leakage inductance of transformer is designed based on FFT table of unipola PWM with NPC H-bridge inverter. The proposed design method is verified by simulation results of 6.6[kV], 1.2[MW] Cascaded NPC H-bridge inverter.

  • The most effective way to improve the performance of a fuzzy controller may be to optimize look-up values. Look-up values are derived from processes used input-output scale factors, membership functions, rule base, fuzzy inference method and defuzzification. It is powerful way to modify or organize look-up table values. In this paper, We propose the look-up values self-organizing fuzzy controller(LSOFC). We use the plus-minus tuning method(PMTM), scanning values through the processes of addition and subtraction. We show the efficiency of this LSOFC by the results of simulation for nonlinear time-varying plant with unmodelled dynamics.

  • This study aimed at analyzing the trend of carbon dioxide emission for direct and indirect areas by using inter industry relations table between 2000, 2003 and 2005 in the key building materials and components. Results of this study are as follows; First, the material and components for this study was selected in 20 industries of products such as sand, gravel, cement, concrete articles, rebar, and steel bar. Second, among the 20 selected key building materials, the group with the highest carbon-dioxide emission was shown in ready-mixed concrete, concrete articles, and primary aluminum goods. Third, as a result of analyzing the changes to the units of carbon dioxide emission according to passage of time, the number of items which is changed in such as sustained increase or decrease over time was insignificant in carbon-emission change trend.

  • The switched reluctance motor (SRM) is an older member of the electric machines family. Its simple structure, ruggedness and inexpensive manufacturing potential make it extremely attractive for industrial applications. However, these merits are overshadowed by its inherent high torque ripple, acoustic noise and difficulty to control. In this paper, a control strategy of the angle position control for the SRM drive based on fuzzy logic is illustrated. The input control parameter, the output control parameter and fuzzy control with FAM table formulation strategy are described and simulated with control patterns, and the decision form of the fuzzy control is illustrated and simulated, and the scope of implementing in a Fuzzy based ASIC chip is enlightened with literature support.

  • This paper presents testing and self-calibration of RF circuits using MEMS switches to identify process-related defects and out of specification circuits. We have developed a novel multi-tone dither test technique where the test stimulus is generated by modulating the RF carrier signal with a multi-tone signal generated using an Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) with additive white Gaussian noise. This test stimulus is provided as input to the RF circuit and peak-to-average ratio (PAR) is measured at the output. For a faulty circuit, a significant difference is observed in the value of PAR as compared to a fault-free circuit. Simulation is performed for various circuit conditions such as fault-free as well as fault-induced and their corresponding PARs are stored in the look-up table. This testing and self-calibration technique is exhaustive and efficient for present-day communication systems.

  • 광역상수도는 지난 40년 동안 우리나라의 경제성장에 지대한 역할을 수행하여 왔을 뿐만 아니라 안정적이고 깨끗한 물을 공급함으로써 국민복지에도 많은 기여를 하여 왔다. 그러나 광역상수도가 국민경제에 미치는 효과에 대한 계량적인 연구가 부족하여 광역상수도의 중요성이 상대적으로 소홀하게 여겨지고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 광역상수도 사업의 파급효과를 분석하기 위해 산업과 산업간의 상관관계를 계량적으로 파악할 수 있는 분석인 산업연관분석을 수행하였다. 일반적으로 산업연관분석은 특정 시점에서의 국민경제를 반영하기 때문에 시계열적으로 분석하기가 매우 힘들다. 그러나 최근 한국은행에서는 2005년 이후 2009년까지의 각 년도별 산업연관표를 발표하고 있어 시계열적으로 광역상수도사업의 파급효과를 분석할 수 있게 되었다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 기존의 수요유도형 모형뿐만 아니라 공급유도형 모형을 적용하여 2005년부터 2009년까지 산업연관분석을 수행하여 광역상수도사업의 파급효과 추이를 살펴봄으로써 광역상수도의 높은 경제적 타당성 및 국민경제적 파급효과를 검증하였다.

  • 원자력발전소의 비상사태 발생시 효과적인 비상대책 수립을 위하여 인근 주민에 대한 신속한 피폭선량 평가 시스템의 개발이 강조되고 있다. 여기서 개발한 시스템은 다양한 원전의 사고에 대해 인근 주민에 대한 방사선 영향의 신속한 평가 모델로서 마이크로 컴퓨터에 기초한 프로그램이며, 문답형의 메뉴방식의 사용자 입력구조를 가지고 있고 수행 결과의 출력은 표 또는 그래픽 형식의 구조를 가지고 있어서 신속한 피폭선량평가 수행뿐만 아니라 신속한 결과 판독이 가능하여 비상대책 활동을 위한 결정에 도움을 준다.
