Study on Induction Motor Drive using Digitally Controlled Push-Pull Converter (디지털적으로 제어되는 푸쉬풀 컨버터를 사용하는 유도 전동기 드라이브에 대한 연구)

  • On this paper, digitally controlled push-pull dc-dc converter and dc-ac inverter for induction motor control are presented, which is used one DSP(digital signal processor). This system has 12V battery input for the push-pull converter, and the push-pull converter generates 300V output for induction motor inverter input. In order to compensate the push-pull converter, the transfer function of push-pull converter is derived and digital PI compensator is adapted. Through bode diagram, stability of digital controlled push-pull converter is analyzed. To verify the proposed system, digital simulation of the induction motor drive using digital push-pull converter are performed.

  • On this paper, digitally controlled flyback dc-dc converter and dc-ac inverter for bldc motor control are presented, which is used one processor. This system has 12V battery input for the flyback-converter, and the flyback-converter generates 30V output for BLDC motor inverter input. In order to compensate the flyback-converter, the transfer function of flyback converter is derived and digital PI compensator is adapted. Through bode diagram, stability of digital flyback-converter is analyzed. To verify the proposed system, digital simulation of the bldc motor drive using digital flyback-converter are performed.

  • In this paper, an variable structure system with an integral-augmented sliding surface is designed for the improved robust control of a uncertain multi-input multi-output(MIMO) system subject to the persistent disturbances. To effectively remove the reaching phase problems, the integral augmented sliding surface is defined, then for its design, the eigenstructure assignment technique is introduced. To guarantee the designed performance againts the persistent disturbance, the stabilizing control for multi-input system is also designed. The stability of the global system and performance robustness are investigated. The example will be given for showing the usefulness of algorithm.

  • In this paper. the stability control system of constant output DC-DC converter is composed of considering a ripple source input and a transient variable sinusoidal power. Also, we design I-PD controller and add phase shift controller. Therefore, it is proposed controller that is stable about the input voltage and load alteration and tracking desired value.

  • This paper presents an observer design method for a special class of multi input multi output(MIMO) nonlinear systems. First, we characterize the class of MIMO nonlinear systems with a block triangular structure. Also, the observability matrices for SISO nonlinear systems are extended to MIMO systems. By using the generalized observability matrices, it is shown that under the boundedness conditions of system state and input, the proposed observer guarantees the local exponential stability of error dynamics. Finally, its application to induction motor is given to verify the proposed method.

  • The control scheme using fuzzy modeling and Parallel Distributed Compensation (PDC) concept is proposed to provide asymptotic tracking of a reference signal for the flexible joint manipulators with uncertain parameters. From Lyapunov stability analysis and simulation results, the developed control law and adaptive law guarantee the boundedness of all signals in the closed-loop multi-input/multi-output system. In addition, the plant state tracks the state of the reference model asymptotically with time for any bounded reference input signal.

  • This paper proposes the MIMO indirect adaptive fuzzy controller to control the two-link manipulators. The input-output linearization technique, equivalent control input plus integral term, augmented error model and recursive least square adaptive law are used fer the controller. The linear type of fuzzifier-defuzzifier fuzzy logic system used for nonlinear function makes easy to farm the error model and able to follow the adaptive system approach. Such that control approach, the control system is not required joint speed and accerelation measurement and easy to implement and tune. The simulation results showed that the proposed controller has good control performance, stability, very small tracking error, decoupling, fast convergence, robust to parameter variation and load.

  • A class D digital audio amplifier with small size, low cost, and high quality is positively necessary in the multimedia era made of home theater system and the digital audio broadcasting (DAB). It is impossible to analyze the stability of the digital audio amplifier, which is based on the PWM signal processing. To solve this problem, the digital audio amplifier is analyzed using variable structure control theory which is one of nonlinear system theories. Moreover, the magnitude and the frequency of ripple signal, which generated by hysteresis in the comparator, is obtained using describing function which is useful to represent the input-output relation of nonlinear system.

  • When the teleoperated system has a signal transmission time delay between slave and control system , the system stability as well as the position tracking and the force reflecting performances are likely to be deteriorated. This paper proposed a bilateral control scheme and a controller design method for the teleoperated control systems with a signal transmission time delay.   • This paper considers a new weighed model reduction method using block diagonal solutions of Lyapunov inequalities. With the input and/or output weighting function, the stability of the reduced order system is guaranteed and an a priori error bound is proposed. to achieve this after finding the solutions of two Lyapunov inequalities and balancing the full order system, we find the reduced order systems using the direct truncation and the singular perturbation approximation. The proposed method is compared with other existing methods using numerical examples.
