초기처짐형상에 따른 판부재의 천이거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Snap-through Behaviour According to the Initial Deflection Shape of Plate Members)

  • Recently, the buckling is easy to happen a thin plate and High Tensile Steel is used at the steel structure and marine structure so that it is wide. Especially, the post-buckling is becoming important design criteria in the ship structure to use especially the High Tensile Steel. Consequently, it is important that we grasp the conduct post-buckling behaviour accurately at the stability of the ship structure or marine structure. In this study, examined closely about conduct and snap-through behaviour after initial buckling of thin plate structure which apply compressive load according to various kinds initial deflection shape under all edges simply supported condition that make by buckling formula in each payment in advance rule to place which is representative construction of hull. Analysis method is F.E.M in used ANSYS program and complicated nonlinear behaviour to analyze such as secondary buckling with snap-through behaviour. Nonlinear buckling control is applied between newton-raphson method and arc-length method in this study

Prediction of Fracture Energy of Concrete

  • A method to determine the fracture energy of concrete is investigated. The fracture energy may be calculated from the area under the complete load-deflection curve which can be obtained from a stable three-point bend test. Several series of concrete beams have been tested. The Present experimental study indicates that the fracture energy decreases as the initial notch-to-beam depth ratio increases Some problems to be observed to employ the three-point bend method are discussed. The appropriate ratio of initial notch-to-beam depth to determine the fracture energy of concrete is found to be 0.5. It is also found that the influence of the self-weight of a beam to the fracture energy is very small A simple and accurate formula to predict the fracture energy of concrete is proposed.

초기변형을 갖고 있는 회전축의 동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dynamic Characteristics of a Shaft with Initial Deflection)

  • In this study, the effects of residual shaft bow and flexible bearings of a single disk rotor are investigated. The stiffness coefficients of a shaft with initial deflection are different from those of a straight shaft. The stiffness coefficients are calculated using Castigliano theorem considering initial deflections. The stiffness coefficients, which are obtained in this study, are in good agreement with FEM results. The speed which causes zero amplitude is shown to be the square root of the ratio of residual bow amplitude to unbalance eccentricity in the case of rigid bearings and isotropic flexible bearings, but not in anisotropic bearings.

  • 본 연구에서는 설계조건에 만족하는 정확한 지주높이를 얻기 위하여 엄밀해를 가진 현수곡선이론을 바탕으로 하여 설계변수들과의 관계를 유도 및 수식화 하였다. 이를 최적설계문제로 정의하여 필요한 제한조건을 만족시키는 범위 내에서 지주의 굴적각들을 최소로 줄이는 최적화지법을 도입하여 체계적인 설계방법을 제시 하였다. 해석에 관한 설계예의 모델을 선정하여 굴절각들을 비교.검토하고 실험을 통하여 확인하였다.

건조중인 선박에서의 기관실 상갑판 판부재의 처짐 예측 (An Estimation of Panel Deflection at Engine Room Upper Deck for the Ship Under Construction)

  • 기관실 상갑판 특히 거주구 외부의 상갑판 판부재는 외적인 수직하중이 거의 작용하지 않음에도 불구하고 건조중인 대형선박에서 갑판에 널리 대처짐 현상이 발생할 때가 있는 반면에 수직하중이 작용하는 거주구 내부의 기관실 상갑판은 처짐발생 크기 및 분포정도가 미미한, 규명하기 어려운 현상들이 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 3차원 구조해석으로부터 얻은 거주구 및 자중에 의한 정적하중의 영향, 손상보고에 따라 계측된 처짐량 자료 및 분포상황, 초기처짐의 크기 및 형상, 용접잔류응력, 면내하중 성분들을 대상으로 비선형 시리즈 해석을 수행하고, 이로부터 판부재에 발생하는 최대처짐 추정식을 제시하였다. 또한, 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 추정식을 이용하여 기존 손상선박의 처짐원인 분석, 거주구 탑재 및 진수 전후의 기관실 상갑판의 처짐거동 그리고 기존의 선각품질관리기준이 기관실 상갑판의 처짐에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았고, 마지막으로 건조예정에 있는 기관실의 처짐현상을 예측하여 보았다.

외압(外壓)을 받는 축대칭(軸對稱) Shell의 한계하중(限界荷重)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Ultimate Load Analysis of Axisymmetric Shells of Revolution Subjected to External Pressure)

  • This paper describes the application of the finite element method to the large deflection elastic plastic analysis and ultimate load calculation of axisymmetric shell of revolution with initial imperfection subjected to external pressure. The nonlinear equilibrium equations are linearized by the successive incremental method and are solved by the combination of load increment and iteration scheme with considering plastic deformation theory. To get the more realistic effect of large deflection, corrected coordinats and directions of applied load ar every load increment steps are used. The effects of the plasticity, initial imperfection and the shape of shells on the ultimate load of clamped circular cap under external pressure are investigated. Consequently, the following conclusions are obtained; (1) At same geometric parameter $\lambda$, each shape of clamped circular caps yield same elastic ultimate loads in both cases, i.e. with and without initial imperfections, whereas, in the case of elastic-plastic state the shell becomes thicker, the ultimate loads are getting smaller. (2) The effects of initial imperfection to ultimate load are most significant in the elastic case and are more senstive in the elastic-plastic state with the thinner shells.

FRP 보강 콘크리트 보의 장기처짐에 관한 실험연구 (An Experimental Study on the Long-Term Deflection of Concrete Beams with GFRP Rebars)

  • FRP 보강근을 이용한 콘크리트 부재는 균열이 발생하면 강성이 상대적으로 작아지고 이와 같은 부재의 낮은 강성은 사용하중 상태에서 허용처짐량이나 균열폭 등과 같은 사용성이 부재의 설계를 결정하게 되는 주요 요인으로 작용하게 된다$^{1)}$. 미국, 캐나다, 일본 등의 선진국에서는 FRP 보강근을 사용한 콘크리트 부재의 연구가 활발히 진행되어 사용성에 대한 설계기준(안)이나 지침서를 제안하고 있으나 국내에서는 아직까지 이에 대한 연구가 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보강비를 달리한 총 4개의 콘크리트 보에 대하여 180일간 지속하중을 재하하였으며 이들 보의 순간처짐(sohrt-term deflection) 및 장기처짐(long-term deflection)의 발생을 관찰하였다. 뿐만아니라 현재 ACI에서 제안하는 장기처짐 값을 계산하여 그 결과를 실험값과 비교 분석하였다. 비록 제한된 수의 비교이지만 180일간 지속하중을 받은 콘크리트 보의 장기처짐은 재하시 순간처짐의 약 40${\sim}$70%까지 발생되었으며 ACI에서 제안한 장기처짐값은 실제 보에서 발생한 장기처짐값을 최대 46% 과대평가하였다.

  • A methodology for design of reinforced concrete members for serviceability in general and deflection control in particular is presented based on application of utility theory. The approach is based on minimizing total cost including both initial construction and cost of failure considering variability in structural behavior and various forms of serviceability loss function. The method is demonstrated for the case of a simply supported slab for example.

  • Steel effects on creep deformation of prestressed concrete structues are investigated by a parametric study. Prestressed steel ratio, Prestressed steel distribution, initial flexural stress gradient, and modular ratio are selected as parameters. Sectional analysis for the beam section of parameter combination is performed to find curvatrue change due to creep. Based on the investigation, long-term curvature formulas from regression analysis are proposed. Application of the furmulas to simply supported prostressed concrete beam shows the effect of steel on deflection.

外力의 效果를 고려한 熔接部의 最終强度에 대한 評價 (An Assessment on the Ultimate Strength of Welding Joint by the Effect of External Force)

  • When structures are constructed by welding, structural elements are always accompained by welding residual stress and deformation. Therefore, when the rigidity and strength of the welded structures is considered, it is very important to have sufficient information about the effect of initial deflection and welding residual stress on them. In this paper, the square plates with welding residual stress under compression are dealt with; First, heat conduction and thermal elastic-plastic problems are analyzed by finite element method using 4-node isoparametric elements for assessment on the ultimate strength of welding joint. Later, the ultimate strength of welding joint is assessed by examining the effect of changed type of loading. The specimens are 500{\times}$500mm(a/b=1) and 750{\times}$500mm(a/b=1.5) rectangular plates of whichthicknesses is 9.0mm and simply supported plates getting axiul load in each direction.
