지반함몰 사고 분석을 통한 제도 개선안 연구 - 지하시설물 및 주변지반 관리 중심으로 - (Study on Improvement Plan of System through Analysis of Ground Sink Accidents - Focused on the management of underground facilities and their surrounding ground -)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지반함몰 사고를 예방하기 위한 제도 개선안을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 수행절차를 따른다. 첫째, 지반침하 및 지반함몰 등의 혼용되어 사용되는 용어를 정의한다. 둘째, 지반함몰 사고 현황 및 원인 분석과 강우량과 지반함몰 원인간의 상관관계 분석을 실시하여 중점관리 원인을 도출한다. 셋째, 중점관리 원인에 대한 제도 개선안을 제안한다. 그 결과, 지하관로 손상과 지하공사 부실이 중점관리 원인으로 규명되었으며, 이를 관리할 두 가지의 제도 개선안을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 보다 실효성 있는 지하함몰 예방을 위한 제도개선의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

효율적인 철도안전지도 활동에 관한 연구 한국철도공사 중심으로 - (A Study on Efficient Activities in Railway Safety Guidance)

  • Infrastructure such as tracks, catenary, rolling stock and signaling systems, and close interface with the human factors of train drivers, shunting staff and maintenance staff are required for train operations. Safety management is the most essential part for the functioning of a train. In line with the safety management, each rail operator has a safety guidance system and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport operates Railway Safety Inspector system. Safety Inspector System is to train employees working in the field to be aware of rules and regulations, and to improve identified risk factors. Hence, it is necessary to establish systematic training and inspection methods for safety guidance staff and make clear the roles and responsibilities of safety inspectors according to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and safety instructors for several inspections according to the Railroad Safety Act.

사석식 경사방파제에 작용하는 파압이 제체 안정성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Wave Pressure on Stability Rubble Mound Breakwater)

  • Arrangement of the facilities for improving harbor functions depends on sea and land conditions such as the ship's arrival and departure conditions, waves and tide. And the plan and the size of the facilities depend much on harbor and marine environment condition such as cargo quantity, ship size, ship traffic and seawater circulation. Among these, waves have so much effect on a breakwater design that it is the most important to understand their characteristics and to apply them to breakwater design. Therefore, to analyze the effect of waves characteristics over a rubble mound breakwater, we have calculated wave pressure by using numerical analysis at each tide level and have analyzed the effect of wave pressure on structure stability by conducting the stability analysis with the wave pressure. As a result, it is found that during low and mean tide level time the biggest wave pressure is estimated near calm water level. But during high tide time, the biggest wave pressure is estimated in front of capping. And the stability analysis indicates also that a structure is most unstable when low tide time wave pressure is acting on. After reviewing the stability of a structure by applying vertical and horizon wave forces, it is concluded that safety factor is lower than ordinary time(max. about 15%), is also reviewed when designing a rubble mound breakwater.

  • In general, Reinforced Slopes by Shotcrete are difficult to inspect because of stiff Slope and highly Working Area. So the Inspection Techniques are needed by the Non-contact and Non-destructive. On this Study, Appling the safety method to finding the weak zones(cavity area, dampness area, etc.) by using the Infrared Thermal Technique That is detecting the Detail Thermal Difference on the Surface of Reinforced Slopes by Shotcrete.

외부접합공법의 내진보강효과에 미치는 접합부의 영향 (Influence of Joint on Retrofitting Effect by Exterior Steel Frames of Existing RC Buildings)

  • In this paper, Nonlinear Static Pushover analysis method(NSP) is proposed which apply to RC buildings reinforced by external retrofit for seismic performance. Based on previous analysis and research, NSP is more developed by connection nonlinearity according to shear resistance mechanism such as dowel and adhesive resistance as major shear resistance elements. According to the proposed method, structural analysis for example buildings was carried out to evaluate seismic performance of buildings. And, it was confirmed that depending on shear strain and characteristics of joint resistant of external retrofitting are different from internal retrofitting. Furthermore, the strength reduction coefficient of the anchor needs to be considered at the joint design.

  • This study examines methods for creating terrain models of reservoirs and techniques for verifying the accuracy. Such methods and techniques use unmanned aerial vehicles which are capable of capturing high-resolution images repetitively, are highly economic, and capable of surveying wide areas. In addition, this study suggests methods of acquiring data for reservoir safety management, the methods which also employ the unmanned aerial vehicles. Therefore, this study helps solving problems that can arise when National Disaster Management System rebuilds a reservoir management database, such as a shortage of local government manpower. This study also contributes to providing element technology necessary for advancing the database.

집중호우로 인한 OO터널 사갱 붕괴 원인 분석 및 대책에 관한 연구 (A Study of Analysis and Countermeasure of the Collapsed inclined shaft by a Heavy Rain)

  • In August 2002, side wall of OO tunnel, at the Bonghwa, Kungbuk province, Korea, was collapsed by abruptly applied heavy soil and water pressure to side wall from a inclined shaft when there was a heavy rain. These days, Inclined shaft is used for the purpose of reducing construction time, using ventilation system, using the out of carrying equipment and mucking when we construct tunnel in the world. Recently constructed tunnel has the source of inclined shafts, but the more time elapse, we lose the source of the inclined shaft such as exact position, condition, and the fact that whether inclined shaft is exist or not. Therefore, this study inspected the interior's appearance, analyzed structure to evaluate the reason of collapsing side wall and this study also performed the repairing work. Finally, we show improving maintenance method to prevent that similar accident that might be happened.

Experimental analysis on rheological properties for control of concrete extrudability

  • In this study, we examined the relationship among the rheological properties, workability, and extrudability in the construction of concrete structures using additive manufacturing. We altered the component materials (binder type, water-binder (W/B) ratio, sand ratio) to assess their effect on the rheological properties experimentally. The results indicated that the W/B and sand ratios had the largest effect on the rheological properties. In particular, when the sand ratio increased, it indicated that adjusting the sand ratio would facilitate control over the rheological properties. Additionally, we compared the rheological properties with the results of a traditional workability evaluation, namely the table flow test. This indicated the possibility of inferring the rheological properties by using traditional methods. Finally, we evaluated extrusion quantity according to table flow. The extrusion rate was 350 g/s for a flow of 210 mm and 170 g/s for a flow of 130 mm, indicating that extrusion rate increased as flow increased; however, we concluded that a flow standard of approximately 140-160 mm is suitable for controlling the actual extrusion quantity and rate.

  • The collapse of cut slope near national roads in Korea mostly occurs in every summer when typhoon or localized heavy rain comes. Such collapse brings about a loss of many lives and property and recently the damage is on rapidly increasing trend. Therefore, we may reduce the loss of many lives and property in great deals if we can predict and prepare for the collapse of cut slope. However, it is not easy to predict collapse because there are many factors causing collapse in combination and all they have different levels of contribution. Therefore, this study completed prediction formula by using a statistic technique for quantitative analysis on the interaction of those factors so as to predict the stability of slopes. Consequently, it is judged that effective slope management will be possible by selecting dangerous slopes quantitatively among cut slopes near national roads and by preparing for the collapse in advance.

숏크리트 및 식생공의 사면방향에 따른 유지관리상의 문제점 (The Problems of Shotcrete and Revegetation Methods according to Slope Direction)

  • 우리나라는 전 국토의 70%가 산지로 구성되어 있어 도로준설 시 절토사면이 필연적으로 발생한다. 그러므로 사면의 안정성확보를 통해 인명피해와 경제적 손실을 막기 위해 보호 및 보강공을 실시하게 된다. 표면보호공법은 절토사면이 조사시점을 기준으로 안전율을 확보하고 있으나, 향후 우수나 풍화진행 등으로 안전율의 감소 방지와 예상치 못한 낙석 등에 대처하기 위한 공법이다. 그러나 식생공, 숏크리트 등의 표면보호공법 시공시 경사방향에 따른 일조량의 차이로 인해 구조물들의 변형 및 유지관리상의 문제점을 야기하고 있다. 식생공의 경우 사면방향이 북향일 경우 일조량의 부족으로 식생들이 정착을 하지 못하게 되고, 이때 사면은 표면보호기능이 상실되어 우수나 풍화진행 등으로 안전율이 감소하게 된다. 숏크리트의 경우는 남향의 사면에서 주간에 일조량이 과할 경우 열에 의해 팽창되고 주?야간 팽창 수축을 반복하여 대류열차에 의한 균열이 발생하게 된다. 이때 숏크리트가 파손되어 도로로 유입시 교통안전에 위협을 가하기도 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사면방향에 따른 표면보호공법 선정시 문제점을 논의해 보고 그 방안을 모색하고자 한다.
