  • Inventory information system is providing the benefits of smoother demand, lower inventories(work in process, safety stock) and reduced costs. This study focused on improvement of safety level inventory efficiency by inventory information system. The results indicated that inventory information system allowed the company to serve its customers more surely and efficiently.

  • The scheme to approach emotional design developed in various way of research without defining criterion of emotional way. A aim of this research to derive a new way of approaching system and construct the process in emotional design. In first experiments, analyze meaning of important factors in cooking kits to construct the model of emotional approaching system by the analysis of quantification theory type 3. This shows that four emotional factors as shape, atmosphere, functional matter, information are deeply related with emotional thinking and design. Consequently, the way of emotional approaching in cooking kit have several conditions essentially as following these; 1.Is it have functional advantages to cook? 2. Is it good looking in shape? 3. Is it possible to make some of mood on cooking? 4. How much information of cook we get in? These conditions were classified in detail to establish emotional design system.

  • It need remote storage system using iSCSI to overcome a limit of PDA storage device used in currently wireless network environment, and IPSec to solve a security problem of wireless environment increasing continually. In this paper, it design and implement iSCSI to use a remote storage system on PDA, and IPSec for security. The experimental results in real environment show a system performance.

  • It has been a common practice to use manually processed soil maps in planning of land readjustment. This study is intended to develop a geographic information system for computerized processing of soil maps. The detailed soil maps were drawn using the geographic information system, and analyzed and compared with manually processed maps. The soil maps, in conjunction with a computer program of land readjustment design, can be applied in estimation of soil works appropriate for the given soil condition, and also in selecting the efficient construction equipments. The study results prove that the proposed methods based on the geographic information system can be used effectively in preparing soil maps for design of land readjustment.

  • Enhanced analysis is performed to design a wedge projection system with a slab structure that increases the projected image size. The specification values of the system such as the length of the slab structure and the imaging region are calculated and investigated using an optical simulation tool. We also propose a split imaging region method to represent a large tiled scene using the thin wedge waveguide structure. Experiments are performed to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • Satellite Air-defence Warning System receives the aircraft/ballistic track information and air defense control command obtained from Master Control & Reporting Center (MCRC) and Air Missile Defence Cell (AMD Cell) Systems. It consists of terminal and control system to propagate track information and air defense control command control via the military satellite communications. In this paper, there were described track information, air defense control command, the frame structure of modem to transmit a voice information and modulation/demodulator design, network synchronization methods via the satellite network.

  • In this paper, we investigate the issues on the design and implementation of tele-operation system based on the haptic interface. Here, the 3-DOF haptic device and the X-Y-Z stage are employed as master controller and slave system respectively. For this master-slave system, the force feedback algorithm, the modeling of virtual environments and the control method of X-Y-Z stage are presented. In this paper, internet network is used for data communication between master and slave.

  • In this paper, the design of intelligent_advertisement_operation system(IAdOS) based on user's feedback is proposed for mobile environments. The proposed system stores the advertising contents created by the advertising provider and recommends the personalized advertising contents by analyzing the context information, and then feedback information of the advertisements. Since the proposed system which can recommends provide the smart advertisement contents based on personal preference, it is expected to contribute the new service model development of in the field of advertising market.

  • In this paper, we presents a robust adaptive control system design method in the work coordinate of the robot arm for conveyor tracking. In the design, if the weighting function $L_K$ is smaller than the design parameter then the transient characteristics of system becomes stable, if $L_K$ is larger than then the system becomes unstable. Proposed design method presented here is based on model referenece adaptive control and Popov stability theorem. By the utiliza/tion of an auxilary input, it is improved the transent characteristics of the system in comparison with the conventional model reference adptive control, since the rate of V and V(t) is large. The usefulness of a proposed design method has been confirmed by computer simulations.

  • Reactor design considerations over several critical parameters for a planar type reactive ion etcher are given. The etch uniformity is taken as a principal design constraint. The characteristics of economicaly available vacuum pumping system are taken as practical design constraints. A set of theoretical conditions on the chamber geometry and on the gas delivery and vacuum system, that satisfy the design constraints, are derived from basic properties of RF glow discharge and gas dynamics. The theoretical results are applied to decide design parameters of a practical single-wafer-per-chamber planar type reactive ion etching machine.
