  • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 시스템은 하나 이상의 컴퓨터가 네트워크로 상호 연결된 프로세서 시스템이다. 하지만, 기존의 보안 유지 방법은 정성적 탐지 및 대응책으로 공격이 발생한 이후 대응에만 치중하여 능동적 차원의 보안 유지 방법에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 따라서, 본 논문은 정량적인 분석을 통해 범용적 인프라의 개선뿐만 아니라 특정 인프라 공격에 대해서 탐지 및 데응할 수 있는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 이를 위해 시스템의 고정적 요소 정보, 임의의 요소 정보, 공격 유형 모델링을 근간으로 시스템의 보안성을 정량적으로 분석할 수 있도록 생존성에 대한 정의 및 모델링 기법을 사용하였다. 그리고 제안한 기법의 검증을 위해 TCP-SYN 공격과 Code-Red 웜 공격에 대한 생존성 분석을 수행하였다.

  • The energy efficient design of the multiple stock housing is very important not only to save energy but also to increase sustainability in a whole city because the multiple stock housing type is dominated in the major residential supply markets in Korea. During the early design phase of the multiple stock housing type, the architect need convenient and accurate tools for evaluating energy consumptions based on building types rapidly. Building Information Modeling(BIM) is introduced as useful tool systems providing interoperability between 3rd dimensional modeling tools and environmental engineering analysis tools, and could reduce time and cost for unnecessary modeling works in the analysis. However, it is still hard to apply to building design practice and integrated energy simulation techniques because interoperability using industrial standard file formats such as IFC and bXML is still underdeveloped. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to perform the building energy simulations, to compare the results on typical building types in multiple stock housing based on BIM, and to clear the problems using industrial standard file formats between 3rd dimensional modeling and building energy simulation software. In addition, through comparisons with simulation results according to the typical building types such as building forms, orientations, and building stories, the interrelation ship and characteristics of BIM based building energy simulation software are analysed and evaluated.

Surface 및 Solid 방식의 비교를 통한 Parametric 기법의 토공물량산출 방법 (Parametric Quantity Take-Off of Earthwork by Comparing the Use of Surface and Solid Models)

  • There exists no precedented case of quantity take-off, using parametric modeling, from BIM-based irregular structures. Civil 3D provides earthwork quantity take-off based on surface modeling. Generally, designers should enter data into the specification additionally after extracting quantity estimation from earthwork modeling design. The objective of this report is to suggest the method from quantity take-off to specification of BIM-based earthwork quantities. We intend to investigate earthwork take-off method by Civil3D and explain why parametric information extraction is required for quantity estimation and specification and how information of earthwork quantity based on solid and surface modeling is connected to open quantity take-off module. It is highly expected that this suggestion would be the practical methodology of earthwork quantity take-off and specification in the field of civil engineering.

  • The research presented in this paper enables real-time 3D modeling to help make construction processes ultimately faster, more predictable and safer. Initial research efforts used an emerging sensor technology and proved its usefulness in the acquisition of range information for the detection and efficient representation of static and moving objects. Based on the time-of-flight principle, the sensor acquires range and intensity information of each image pixel within the entire sensor's field-of-view in real-time with frequencies of up to 30 Hz. However, real-time working range data processing algorithms need to be developed to rapidly process range information into meaningful 3D computer models. This research ultimately focuses on the application of safer heavy equipment operation. The paper compares (a) a previous research effort in convex hull modeling using sparse range point clouds from a single laser beam range finder, to (b) high-frame rate update Flash LADAR (Laser Detection and Ranging) scanning for complete scene modeling. The presented research will demonstrate if the FlashLADAR technology can play an important role in real-time modeling of infrastructure assets in the near future.

  • Computational Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that provides architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight to plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure more efficiently. This paper aims at using BIM in Hospitals configurations protection. Infrastructure projects are classified as huge structural projects taking advantage of many resources such as finance, materials, human labor, facilities and time. Immense expenses in infrastructure programs should be allocated to estimating the expected results of these arrangements in domestic economy. Hence, the significance of feasibility studies is inevitable in project construction, in this way the necessity in promoting the strategies and using global contemporary technologies in the process of construction maintenance cannot be neglected. This paper aims at using the building information modeling in covering Imam Khomeini Hospital's equipment. First, the relationship between hospital constructions maintenance and repairing, using the building information modeling, is demonstrated. Then, using library studies, the effective factors of constructions' repairing and maintenance were collected. Finally, the possibilities of adding these factors in Revit software, as one of the most applicable software within BIM is investigated and have been identified in some items, where either this software can enter or the software for supporting the repairing and maintenance phase lacks them. The results clearly indicated that the required graphical factors in construction information modeling can be identified and applied successfully.

  • B2B 전자상거래와 같이 XML을 이용한 정보교환이 확산되고 있으며 이에 따라 상호 교환되는 정보에 대하여 체계적이며 안정적인 저장관리가 요구되고 있다. 이를 위해 XML 응용과 데이터 베이스간의 연계를 위한 다양한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 특히 계층적 구조를 갖는 XML 파일을 다양한 형태의 데이터베이스에 저장하기 위한 데이터 모델링 방안이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 UML을 이용한, 다양한 형태의 데이터베이스 기반의 XML 응용을 위한 통합설계 방법론을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 UML을 이용하여 W3C XML schema를 설계하기 위한 XML 모델링 방안을 제시하고, 아울러 교환되는 XML 파일을 저장 관리하기 위하여 객체-관계 데이터베이스 스키마와 객체지향 데이터베이스 스키마 그리고 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마 설계를 위한 데이터 모델링 방법을 제안한다.

  • Functional Modeling methodology, IDEF0 is widely used for modeling, analysis and description of enterprise system. The limitation of modeling components restricts applicability and give rise to confusion about model. In this paper, we propose new method to extend IDEF0. The first is adding modeling components which are semantic representations. In addition to ICOMs, we add the time and cost component which is required to execute the function. The second is tracing mechanism. When we need some information, we drive the functions related with the information by reverse tracing of the function which produces the information as a output and input. Through the tracing, we find out the bottleneck process or high cost process. Finally, we suggest the final decomposition level. We call the final decomposed function into unit function which has only one output data. We can combine and reconstruct some of functions because an unit function is similar to ‘lego block’. To reach the integrated system, the main problem to be solved is the integration of information produced by different functional subsystem. This can be resolved when the creation of data must be dependent on only one function. Through view integration of function output, we can guarantee the integrity of data.

  • This paper recognized a need in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry for new programs and methods of producing reliable energy simulations using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology. Current methods and programs for running energy simulations are not very timely, difficult to understand, and lack high interoperability between the BIM software and energy simulation software. It is necessary to improve on these drawbacks as design decision are often made without the aid of energy modeling leading to the design and construction of non-optimized buildings with respect to energy efficiency. The goal of this research project is to develop a new methodology to produce energy estimates from a BIM model in a more timely fashion and to improve interoperability between the simulation engine and BIM software. In the proposed methodology, the extracted information from a BIM model is compiled into an INP file and run in a popular energy simulation program, DOE-2, on an hourly basis for a desired time period. Case study showed that the application of this methodology could be used to expediently provide energy simulations while at the same time reproducing the BIM in a more readably three dimensional modeling program. With the aid of an easy to run and easily understood energy simulation methodology, designers will be able to make more energy conscious decisions during the design phase and as changes in design requirements arise.

  • In this paper, we present database model of directory systems that perform a task for distributed information repositories in communication network environments. A new model is developed through four phase: (1) A diretory database information is classified that would be stored in directory database as user, administrative, and supplementary information. (2) The modeling criteria are captured that would be used to model information classified. (3) Object-Oriented concepts are used in modeling classified information according to modeling criteria captured. (4) Methods applied to developed model are grouped, and active-based mechanisms such as trigger and constraints are developed. These selected methods and attributes are encapsulated into objects. Consequently they compose an Active Object-Oriented Directory Database Model.

  • 입력 랜덤 변수(input random variable)의 통계 모델링은 기계시스템의 신뢰성 해석(reliability analysis), 신뢰성 기반 설계(reliability-based design optimization), 해석모델의 통계적 검정(validation) 및 보정(calibration)을 위해 반드시 필요하다. 대표적인 통계모델링 기법에는 Akaike Information Criterion (AIC), AIC correction (AICc), Bayesian Information Criterion, Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE), Bayesian 방법 등이 있다. 이러한 방법들은 기본적으로 주어진 데이터로부터 후보 모델의 우도함수값을 이용하여 후보 모델 중 가장 적합한 모델을 선택하는 방법이며, 방법에 따라 데이터 수 혹은 파라미터의 수를 고려하여 모델을 선정한다. 하지만 실제 현장에서 데이터의 통계모델링을 하는 엔지니어는 각 방법의 장단점에 대한 이해가 부족하여 어떤 방법이 정확한 방법인지 몰라 통계모델링 수행 시 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 통계모델링 방법들을 비교하고 각 방법의 장단점 분석을 통해 가장 적합한 모델링 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 각 방법의 검증을 위해 다양한 모분포를 가정하고 다양한 사이즈의 샘플을 임의로 생성하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 실제 공학 데이터를 사용하여 통계모델링 방법의 유효성을 검증하였다.
