The purpose of this study is to investigate the problems brought about by applying the case management of prostitution in practice, considering its special characteristics. The study is based on the actual experience and understanding of the hands-on workers toward its case management, who are working at the organization for preventing prostitution. To do this, data collected for the research is analyzed by an inductive approache. Participants are selected in the Counseling Centers for Prostitution, General Supporting Facilities, Supporting Centers for Self-help, and Youth Facilities. Three organizations in each type of the centers or facilities are respectively chosen. Twelve participants are composed of six hands-on workers in charge of the case management and six managers supervising it(called the director of the Center in some Centers). According to the analysis, the main issues of their case management experiences are divided into 5 topics and then sub-divided into 12 ones in 3 areas. Each theme of the topics is 'Steady & ordinary, not special tasks', 'Co-existence of a burden & thrilling', 'Sad, but pretending to be serene', 'Know-hows through practical experiences', 'Nevertheless, fill my future with hopes'. On the basis of the result, some policies and instructions necessary to actively revitalize the case management are suggested: expanding professional training centers based on the field, preparing government level customized-services in medical treatments and laws, creating jobs & intensifying job training, setting up various cooperative systems with local organizations via active networking, establishing super-vision systems, and so on.
The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of the essence through the parenting experience of the mother with ADHD child and to divide the parenting experience into the domains and categories. The data was collected through several depth interviews with 12 semi-structured questionnaires of the mother with ADHD child. The analysis of the data has adopted a consensus qualitative research method(CQR) that describes the phenomenon based on the collected data and can deduce inductive conclusions. Through CQR, various experiences of ADHD mothers were deeply analyzed. Through the consensus process, 12 cases were combined and quantified to understand the overall pattern and specificity. As a result, 11 domains and 51 categories were derived. The 11 areas were classified as 'Ignorance of ADHD symptom', 'Confronting ADHD diagnosis', 'Peripheral reaction after ADHD diagnosis', 'Acceptance of ADHD diagnosis', 'Ambivalence for medication', 'ADHD active treatment intervention', 'Family support','Social support', 'Social perception change', and 'Mature parent'. This suggests that early treatment and intervention for ADHD child is significant. Also, appropriate intervention is required based on accurate understanding through acceptance of ADHD diagnosis and that parent education can lead to positive life for child and mother of ADHD. Finally, based on this, I made suggestions the future research.

As the growth of the domestic defense industry is remarkable regarding technology level and export size, technology protection is necessary. Particularly, there is a need to apply anti-tamper measures to prevent critical technologies from illegally being taken out of weapon systems. However, there is no security protection strategy and system built yet in ROK. Precedent studies discussed the trend analysis and technical research for specific protective techniques, and the application of anti-tamper using limited procedures was provided. Recently, methods of how to select the technology for protection were studied based on risk management. Nonetheless, these studies cannot be associated with the acquisition process for the whole life-cycle, having difficulty with actual development and evaluation of the weapon systems. The objective of our study is to derive the system requirements of the weapon system for which anti-tamper measures have been determined to apply. Specifically, requirements items suitable for the development of anti-tamper weapon systems were derived based on ISO/IEC 19790, the CMVP standard for the development and verification of cryptographic modules. Also, its utilization in technical reviews and test & evaluations was presented. The usefulness of the research results was confirmed through inductive inference and comparative evaluation. The result can be expected to play a role in initiating extensive activities needed for technology protection of the weapon systems.

In this work, the effect of surface treatment on mesoporous carbons (MCs) supports was investigated by analyzing surface functional groups. MCs were prepared by a conventional templating method using mesoporous silica (SBA-15) for using catalyst supports in direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs). The MCs were treated with different phosphoric acid ($H_3PO_4$) concentrations i.e., 0, 1, 3, 4, and 5 M at 343 K for 6 h. And then Pt-Ru was deposited onto surface treated MCs (H-MCs) by chemical reduction method. The characteristics of Pt-Ru catalysts deposited onto H-MCs were determined by specific surface area and pore size analyzer, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron, transmission electron microscopy, and inductive coupled plasma-mass spectrometer. The electrochemical properties of Pt-Ru/H-MCs catalysts were also analyzed by cyclic voltammetry experiments. From the results of surface analysis, an oxygen functional group was introduced to the surface of carbon supports. From the results, the H4M-MCs carbon supports surface treated with 4 M $H_3PO_4$ led to uniform dispersion of Pt-Ru onto H4M-MCs, resulting in enhancing the electro-catalytic activity of Pt-Ru catalysts.
Background and objective: Plants in temples are the results of cultural symbolization that embraces the experience and enlightenment of humans about life. As a way to improve the acceptance of the foreign religion, China gave cultural symbolization to plants in temple gardens through integration with traditional cultures and the understanding of the nature of plants themselves. This study aimed to identify cultural symbolism and signs of acculturation associated with Buddhist plants, targeting Bolisu, the most essential and symbolic plant in temple garden forests in China and Korea. Methods: The morphological and ecological characteristics of plants, functions, the texts that contained the history of Buddhism and literary works were examined through literature review, and the relation of Ficus religiosa with its planting conditions and nature, and Buddhist culture was explored. In addition, the cultural value of Buddhist plants themselves in establishing temples and the reason why Bolisu was planted in temples were reviewed through time series analysis. The obtained results were interpreted using an inductive method to identify substitutes for F. religiosa, cultural symbolism and signs of acculturation. Results: F. religiosa as one of the three holy trees and the five trees and six flowers in Buddhism is known as the original Bolisu. Since it grows well and is widely distributed in regions that accepted Indian Buddhism, it became the most representative holy tree in Buddhism. From the perspective of tree shape and nature, F. religiosa is in line with the Buddhist spirit of saving those in need with mercy and redeeming mankind, and figuratively shows that perfection can be attained like the fruit of Bolisu. Chines Buddhism had adopted highly symbolic plants for a long period of time as a means to spread the same belief and doctrines as Indian Buddhism. In China, however, there were only limited areas suitable for the growth of F. religiosa, and for this reason, borrowed Bolisu trees including Tilia. miqueliana, T. mandshurica and T. amurensis and other plants such as F. virens Ait. var. sublanceolata, G. biloba and M. alba were planted as a substitute in most regions, having been given with symbolism and belief as Bolisu. Conclusion: Chinese Buddhism planted the same plants as Indian Buddhism in order to enhance symbolism and also similar substitutes to express the same symbolism. This is a kind of acculturation and its influence and customs were not limited to China, but were introduced to Korea, The difference between China and Korea was that G. biloba was excluded from the substitute for Bolisu in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to examine what epistemological beliefs pre-service teachers have about science depending on the situation, and to explore in-depth changes in epistemological beliefs through disciplinary reading. For this purpose, 77 essays written by pre-service elementary school teachers after reading Feynman's 'the meaning of it all' were analyzed using an inductive analysis method. As a result of the study, the epistemological beliefs of pre-service teachers were divided into two situations: 'science in subject learning' and 'science in daily life', and the epistemological beliefs formed in the 'science handled by scientists' situation were analyzed after reading the book. Each situation was divided into sub-categories of 'Impression of Knowledge', 'Source of Knowledge', 'Justification of Knowledge', 'Variability of Knowledge', 'Structure of Knowledge', and 'Value of Knowledge Acquisition' to reveal differences in sophisticated beliefs and naive belief levels. As a result, it was derived that Feynman's science lecture influenced pre-service teachers in terms of establishing new perspectives and recontextualizing existing epistemological beliefs. This study is meaningful in that pre-service teachers' scientific epistemological beliefs may vary depending on the situation, and that the scope and depth of epistemological beliefs may be expanded to include scientists' beliefs in science through disciplinary reading.

The purpose of this study was to investigate if students may actually experience scientific reasoning based on an epistemology of authentic science during authentic open inquiry. The samples were 86 10th graders in a science-high school in Seoul. The experimental group practiced authentic open inquiry and the control group practiced traditional school science inquiry in five weeks. Then, the questions students asked while performing inquiry tasks were analyzed. The frequency of the questions asked by students was almost same between two groups, however, the types of questions were different. The frequency of thinking questions in experimental group was higher than the control, and the difference was statistically significant (P<.01). Particularly, the frequency of expansive thinking questions and anomaly detection questions was much higher in experimental than the control group. Judging from the result, with the students from the experimental group asking questions reflecting on the epistemology of authentic science such as scientific methods, anomalous data, and uncertainty about reasoning, students may understand authentic science features during the activities of open authentic inquiry. The result from comparing questions according to the inquiry subject showed that more openness caused the higher frequency of anomaly detection questions and strategy questions, but that inductive thinking questions and analogical thinking questions were connected to inquiry subject rather than the openness of the inquiry.
The purpose of this study is to analyze how Chinese people perceive the acceptance and spread of Korean popular culture through the analysis of the Korean Wave news frame in Chinese daily newspapers. The result of analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the number of an article appearance in all three daily newspapers by year according to a specific issue including the popularity of Korean Wave-related events, Korean dramas, movies and Korean stars. This reporting trend also appeared in the article format, and all three daily newspapers mainly used an episodic frame to deliver fragmentary Korean Wave trend or personal information emotionally rather than a thematic frame to analyze and interpret the Korean Wave trend in depth. As a result of analyzing dominant news frames using the inductive approach to examine specific contents of the articles, news frames that composed the Korean Wave into the cultural interest frame as 'Interest and attention toward Korean popular culture' and gave positive evaluations were dominant, followed by the economic news frames that explained the Korean Wave from the economic perspective and the political news frames that considered the Korean Wave from the viewpoint of the Chinese Government. These news frames appeared somewhat different according to the publishing purpose of daily newspapers. ${\ll}$People's Daily${\gg}$ which is the official organ of the Chinese Communist Party often covered the political frames to report the policies of Chinese government, ${\ll}$People's Daily (Overseas edition)${\gg}$ often covered economic frames from the overseas perspective and the Jinghua Daily which is a commercial newspaper by nature often handled cultural interest frames to consider Korean Wave as new cultural phenomenon.
Bankruptcy involves considerable costs, so it can have significant effects on a country's economy. Thus, bankruptcy prediction is an important issue. Over the past several decades, many researchers have addressed topics associated with bankruptcy prediction. Early research on bankruptcy prediction employed conventional statistical methods such as univariate analysis, discriminant analysis, multiple regression, and logistic regression. Later on, many studies began utilizing artificial intelligence techniques such as inductive learning, neural networks, and case-based reasoning. Currently, ensemble models are being utilized to enhance the accuracy of bankruptcy prediction. Ensemble classification involves combining multiple classifiers to obtain more accurate predictions than those obtained using individual models. Ensemble learning techniques are known to be very useful for improving the generalization ability of the classifier. Base classifiers in the ensemble must be as accurate and diverse as possible in order to enhance the generalization ability of an ensemble model. Commonly used methods for constructing ensemble classifiers include bagging, boosting, and random subspace. The random subspace method selects a random feature subset for each classifier from the original feature space to diversify the base classifiers of an ensemble. Each ensemble member is trained by a randomly chosen feature subspace from the original feature set, and predictions from each ensemble member are combined by an aggregation method. The k-nearest neighbors (KNN) classifier is robust with respect to variations in the dataset but is very sensitive to changes in the feature space. For this reason, KNN is a good classifier for the random subspace method. The KNN random subspace ensemble model has been shown to be very effective for improving an individual KNN model. The k parameter of KNN base classifiers and selected feature subsets for base classifiers play an important role in determining the performance of the KNN ensemble model. However, few studies have focused on optimizing the k parameter and feature subsets of base classifiers in the ensemble. This study proposed a new ensemble method that improves upon the performance KNN ensemble model by optimizing both k parameters and feature subsets of base classifiers. A genetic algorithm was used to optimize the KNN ensemble model and improve the prediction accuracy of the ensemble model. The proposed model was applied to a bankruptcy prediction problem by using a real dataset from Korean companies. The research data included 1800 externally non-audited firms that filed for bankruptcy (900 cases) or non-bankruptcy (900 cases). Initially, the dataset consisted of 134 financial ratios. Prior to the experiments, 75 financial ratios were selected based on an independent sample t-test of each financial ratio as an input variable and bankruptcy or non-bankruptcy as an output variable. Of these, 24 financial ratios were selected by using a logistic regression backward feature selection method. The complete dataset was separated into two parts: training and validation. The training dataset was further divided into two portions: one for the training model and the other to avoid overfitting. The prediction accuracy against this dataset was used to determine the fitness value in order to avoid overfitting. The validation dataset was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the final model. A 10-fold cross-validation was implemented to compare the performances of the proposed model and other models. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model, the classification accuracy of the proposed model was compared with that of other models. The Q-statistic values and average classification accuracies of base classifiers were investigated. The experimental results showed that the proposed model outperformed other models, such as the single model and random subspace ensemble model.
The purpose of this research is to find the identity through the inductive analysis on the curriculum of the industrial high schools in Gyeonggi province. The departments of electricity, electron, and correspondence of the 22 industrial high schools in Gyeonggi province are selected as the subject school of this research. The result of this research is as follows. First, 11 out of 18 industrial schools currently arrange larger completion unit of special curriculum than common one, and 2 out of 4 general high schools do. Second, industrial schools reduced 2-4 units of required subjects of the departments, general high schools did 2 units. 11 out of 18 industrial schools arranged larger student's elective subjects than school's in the completion unit of common curriculum, and 3 out of 4 general high schools did. 31 out of 32 departments of 18 industrial schools arranged larger student's elective subjects than school's in the completion unit of common curriculum. Third, 4 out of 18 industrial schools used the certified textbooks for newly organized subjects. But 25 departments of 15 schools out of 36 departments of 22 schools changed the industrial departments into high-tech ones. Fourth, in the classification of the school curriculum by 3-type curriculum, 12 out of 18 industrial schools adopted employment-centered curriculum, 7 out of 18 schools did foundation-centered curriculum. 2 out of 4 general schools adopted employment-centered curriculum, 2 out of 4 schools did college preparation-centered curriculum. Therefore, Schools are estimated to have much effort to find their identities through the arrangement of school curriculum.
