A acoustic emission (AE) sensor has been used to monitor tool were during milling process. The relation between tool wear and AE RMS (Root mean Square) signal was investigated experimentally. A avaliable monitoring index for monitoring toolwear was newly extracted form AE RMS. And on-line monitoring program was developed. The proposed monitoring system has verified experimentally by roughing end milling titanium alloy with TIN coated HSS tool.

In this Paper is analyzed about FMS(Fieldbus Message Specification) service of FOUNDATION Fieldbus and designed using of UML(Unified Modeling Language). The FMS provides a number of services for reading, writing, and otherwise accessing objects. The FOUNDATION Fieldbus protocol is object oriented. The information in the devices is accessed in the form of objects. In FMS, the objects for configuring device and strategy in a node are listed in an object dictionary(OD). Each object is identified by an index. For example, every function block and every parameter has an index.

In the WKB analysis, we propose the new forms of the trial eigenfunctions which not only converge at the turning points but also approximate to the conventional WKB solutions away from the turning points. The eigenvalue equation of multiple waveguides with graded index profile are derived by using the proposed WKB analysis and the transfer matrix method. The drived equation sare represented in the recursive form. The results of the eigenvalue equation sare comapred with those of the FDM, one of the well-known computational methods, for a three-waveguide coupler.

In this note we observe that any truncated multi-index sequence has an interpolating measure supported in Euclidean space. It is well known that the consistency of a truncated moment sequence is equivalent to the existence of an interpolating measure for the sequence. When the moment matrix of a moment sequence is nonsingular, the sequence is naturally consistent; a proper perturbation to a given moment matrix enables us to confirm the existence of an interpolating measure for the moment sequence. We also illustrate how to find an explicit form of an interpolating measure for some cases.

Permanent structure of photoinduced singlemode waveguide in optical fluoride glasses was demonstrated using the self-channeled plasma filament excited by a femtosecond (110 fs) Ti:sapphire laser ($λ_p$ = 800 nm). The photoinduced refractive index modification in ZBLAN glasses reached a length of approximately 10 - 15 mm from the input surface of the optical glass with the diameters ranging from 5 to 8 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ at input intensities more than l.0 ${\times}$ $10^{12}$ W/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The graded refractive index profiles were fabricated to be a symmetric form from the center of an optical fluoride glass and a maximum value of refractive index change (ㅿn) was measured to be l.3${\times}$$10^{-2}$. The beam profile of the output beam transmitted through the modified region showed that the photoinduced refractive index modification produced a permanent structure of singlemode waveguide.

This research deals with the study of vibrational behavior of armchair and zigzag single-walled carbon nanotubes invoking extended Love shell theory. The effects of different physical and material parameters on the fundamental frequencies are investigated. By using volume fraction for power law index, the fundamental natural frequency spectra for two forms of single-walled carbon nanotubes are calculated. The influence of frequencies against length-to-diameter ratios with varying power law index are investigated in detail for these tubes. To discretize the governing equation in eigen-value form, wave propagation approach is developed. Complex exponential functions have been used and the axial model depends on boundary condition that has been described at the edges of carbon nanotubes to calculate the axial modal dependence. Computer software MATLAB is utilized for the frequencies of single-walled carbon nanotubes and current results shows a good stability with comparison of other studies.

In the course of studying the design of securing the 100-year-long durability of 100 years the subway structure according to the requested service by the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Construction Headquarters, we analyzed 14 construction sites adopting the durability design in subway line No. 9 and concluded as follows: 1. When comparing with 158, the environment index presented for securing 100-year-long durability of subway structure in subway line No. 9, the index of durability was verified as 159.7$\~$179.8 2. When examining the increase value of durability index, we verified that the constructors didn't make various choices in method but they employed the uniformly selected system. 3. Under consideration of the bid form, the construction under bid contract in bulk gave the impacts on the construction cost with attention to selection of the durability index, while the construction under alternative contract in bid adopted uniformly the standard presented by the ordering party.

Oral cancer treatment involves the surgical removal of all or part of the maxilla, leaving the patient with a defect that compromises the integrity and function of the oral cavity. The postoperative restoration of esthetics, deglutition, and speech shortens recovery time in the hospital and expedites the patient's return to the community as a functioning member. The surgical obturator is the proven treatment option in such situations. This article describes a simple technique to fabricate a surgical obturator that restores patient's original dentition and facial and palatal tissue form. The obturator fabricated with this technique utilizes the vacuum formed index of patient's original tissue form and duplicated partly in heat and partly in auto polymerizing acrylic resin. Duplication of the original tissue form helps patient to minimize the immense physiological trauma immediately after the surgical resection. The obturator fabricated with this technique supports soft tissues after surgery and minimizes scar contracture and disfigurement, and thus may have a positive effect on the patients' psychology.

We prove that the Siegel modular form of D'Hoker and Phong that gives the chiral superstring measure in degree two is a lift. This gives a fast algorithm for computing its Fourier coefficients. We prove a general lifting from Jacobi cusp forms of half integral index t/2 over the theta group ${\Gamma}_1$(1, 2) to Siegel modular cusp forms over certain subgroups ${\Gamma}^{para}$(t; 1, 2) of paramodular groups. The theta group lift given here is a modification of the Gritsenko lift.

The purpose of this study is to examine the Relationship between Job Form Satisfaction and Job Form Environment of Security Guard. The total 210 subjects are composed of 160 men and 50 women who work at private security company in Seoul, Kyongi. The job form satisfaction test made by Smith et al(1969) JDI(Job Descriptive Index) test was used which had been translated and modified by Park Jin Hee(1994) & Lee Dong Yeop(2003) for Korean situation. Also, one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis. These are conclusions of this study drawn from the data analysis through the methods and the process mentioned above. First, there are partial differences in the subordinate factors of job form satisfaction agreeing with the characteristic of demography. In accordance with sex, the higher is men group, in accordance with marriage, the higher is non-marriage, in accordance with age, the higher is 36-50's group, in accordance with scholastic ability, the higher is graduate school group, in accordance with income, the higher is 3 million won group. Second, there are partial differences in the effect of job form environment on satisfaction of security guard. In accordance with service career, the higher is 16-20age group, in accordance with position, the higher is general member, in accordance with main exercise, the higher is Hapkido group, in accordance with type, the higher is general charge group.
