  • Objectives : This study was done to assess the effects of the clinical interchange between the Western Medicine and the Oriental Medicine for ischemic stroke patients. The patient outcomes include changes in neurologic function by modified NIH stoke scale, stroke pattern identification scale, and patient satisfaction, Methods : For the assessment of effects, this study was performed with 178 inpatients who had undergone the stroke care at three hospitals (W Hospital adopted western therapy, S Oriental Hospital adopted Sasang constitution medicine therapy, and H Oriental Hospital adopted mixed therapy according to a joint protocol on Western Oriental medical care) from November 1997 to December 1998. Patients were interviewed or written with self-entered questionnaire forms, and clinical data were obtained, Physicians or oriental doctors wrote clinical questionnaire forms according to the care process. Results : The patient outcomes within three hospitals at 2 stages (at admission and discharge in the modified NIH stroke scale. at admission and second weeks during admission in the stroke pattern identification scale) were found to be decreased, Especially in the results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the degree of improvement of modified NIH stroke scale of the stroke patients at W Hospital was significant large than it at S Oriental Hospital. Also, the degree of improvement of stroke pattern identification scale at W Hospital was significantly large than it at other two hospitals. However, the patient's satisfaction score at three hospitals wasn't significantly different. Conclusions : The result of this study suggested that the joint clinical research of Western & Oriental medical practitioners was possible even if there was a conflict between Western Medicine and Oriental Medicine. Therefore Western & Oriental medical practitioners share a mutual responsibility to apply evidence-based practice, to seek scientific empirical proof through randomized clinical trials between the multicenter.

  • The active use of the container vessel has brought with it high speed and reduced transit time ; however, the system of delivering the goods via B/L at the destination has lagged behind technical advances, becoming a burden to today's international traders, especially consignees and/or importers. More recently the sea waybill(SWB), that is to say an ocean-type AWB, has come on the scene. In Europe and the USA the use of SWB has increased significantly, but has also left room for improvement due to its short history of use. However, Recently, more attention is paid to SWB as a means to solve the B/L Crisis is getting more and more serious. In addition, due to its non-negotiability, the sea waybill could easily be replaced by messages sent between the interested parties by Electronic Data Interchange. With the paper document, transfer of title is fulfilled by transferring the original bill of lading to the buyer of the goods. However, in an electronic environment this is difficult to replicate. A number of solutions have been investigated, including using an electronic bill of lading, by controlling changes in title to goods through irrevocable, but transferable instructions to the carrier, or by appointing an independent electronic data registry, or replacing the bill of lading with a sea waybill, which is non-negotiable. The purpose of this study is to investigate some problems which may hinder SWB from coming into wide use and to analyse how to solve problems due to introduction of electronic sea waybill.

  • With expanded use of B2B(between enterprises), B2G(between enterprises and government) and EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), and increased amount of available network information and information protection threat, as it was judged that security can not be perfectly assured only with security technology such as electronic signature/authorization and access control, Bayesian networks have been developed for protection of information. Therefore, this study speculates Bayesian networks system, centering on ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning). The Bayesian networks system is one of the methods to resolve uncertainty in electronic data interchange and is applied to overcome uncertainty of abnormal invasion detection in ERP. Bayesian networks are applied to construct profiling for system call and network data, and simulate against abnormal invasion detection. The host-based abnormal invasion detection system in electronic trade analyses system call, applies Bayesian probability values, and constructs normal behavior profile to detect abnormal behaviors. This study assumes before and after of delivery behavior of the electronic document through Bayesian probability value and expresses before and after of the delivery behavior or events based on Bayesian networks. Therefore, profiling process using Bayesian networks can be applied for abnormal invasion detection based on host and network. In respect to transmission and reception of electronic documents, we need further studies on standards that classify abnormal invasion of various patterns in ERP and evaluate them by Bayesian probability values, and on classification of B2B invasion pattern genealogy to effectively detect deformed abnormal invasion patterns.

AC 25[kv] method voltage the insulation becomes larger standing distance highly, the case tunnel section which will introduce in the underground segment becomes on a large scale and the cost of construction increases to the city center and the underground segment adoption of DC method was many. To recent times with R-bar (Rigid-bar) introductions change of tunnel section the introduction of AC method came to be easy without in the underground segment. Operates sees in the electric protection where the Seoul metro and the Korail are different each other and, from the dead section segment the interior electric light to put out lights the passenger brings about inconveniently and the civil appeal which demands a power supply method unification occurs, within the company interchange electric railroad brazier safety improvement and maintenance expense curtailment etc. the flaw is original proposal, is a condition which finishes a feasibility study service about the power supply method fringe land. • In case of environment requiring safety such as human body and requiring flexible shape, a conventional mechanical actuator system does not satisfy requirements. Therefore, in order to solve these problems. a research of various smart material such as EAP (Electro Active Polymer), EAC (Electro Active Ceramic) and SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) is in progress. Recently, the highest preferring material among various smart material is EP (Electrostictive Polymer), because it has very fast response time, powerful force and large displacement. The previous researches have been studied properties of polymer and simple control, but present researches are studied a polymer actuator. An EP (Electostrictive Polymer) actuator has properties which change variably ils shape and environmental condition. Therefore, in order to coincide with a user's purpose, it is important not only to decide a shape of actuator and mechanical design but also to investigate a efficient controller. In this paper, we constructed the control logic with an adaptive fuzzy algorithm which depends on the physical properties of EP that has a dielectric constant depending on time. It caused for a sub-actuator to operate at the same time that a sub-actuator system operation increase with a functional improvement and control efficiency improvement in each actuator, hence it becomes very important to manage it effectively and to control the sub-system which Is operated effectively. There is a limitation on the management of Main-host system which has multiple sub-system, hence it brings out the Multi-Vehicle Control process that disperse the task efficiently. Controlling the multi-dispersion system efficiently, it needs the research of Main-host system's scheduling, data interchange between sub-actuators, data interchange between Main-host system and sub-actuator system, and data communication process. Therefore in this papers, we compared the fuzzy controller with the adaptive fuzzy controller. also, we applied the scheduling method for efficient multi-control in EP Actuator and the algorithm with interchanging data, protocol design.

  • This paper describes a standard cell placement strategy which consists of three kconsecutive steps` initial placement, iterative placement improvement, and string placement. In the initial placement step, cell placement was done by solving the linear ordering problem for a one-dimensional layout of standard cells and then zigzaging the resultant linear order width in the chip plane. The iterative placement improvement step is based on the iterative pairwise interchange using the estimated total routing length as a figure-or -merit. The string placement is used to reorder cells and terminals in each etandard cell row such that channel routing in the adjacent channels is not blocked by cyclic constraints and needs fewer routing tracks. The placement program is coded in PASCAL and kimplemented on a VAX-11/750 computer. Experimental results for several examples are included.

  • This study examines the relative efficiency of 34 local public medical centers in Korea. In order to concretely grasp the causes of inefficiency and suggest improvement solutions, the desirable set point was established based on the actual value which needs to be improved. As a result of analysis, we determined that output must be increased while input is held constant in order to improve effectiveness through the actual value and set point. Efficiency cannot be achieved if input is augmented solely to increase output. Also, to increase output, the medical centers need to improve their quality without increasing any input for customer visits and hospitalizations. Further, in order to strategically promote effectiveness and efficiency of local public medical centers, these medical centers must focus on input resource and patient interchange through the mutual cooperation with local private hospitals and university medical centers.

  • The morphology of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET)/poly(m-xylene adipamide) (MXD-6) blends, which was prepared by adding compatibilizer and interchange reaction agent, was investigated. The morphological change in the stretched blend films was also studied. The stretched film showed a dispersed MXD-6 fibril. This fibril became finer with increasing draw ratio (DR). The addition of compatibilizer and interchange reaction agent had no effect on the improvement of interfacial adhesion but caused a defect between the continuous phase and the dispersed phase, leading to the formation of irregular fibril. The change in the superstructure of blends with composition and draw ratio was examined with light scattering (LS). The H$\sub$v/ LS patterns showed a double-cross type pattern consisting of a broad rod-like pattern and a sharp cross streak. On the basis of the model calculation of the H$\sub$v/ pattern, it was found that the appearance of the double-cross type pattern was attributed to the stacking of crystals oriented along the draw direction. The crystals were gradually oriented to the stretching direction with draw ratio. As a result, the high level of orientation was obtained fur the sample of draw ratio is 6.0.

  • Development of mountain area is increasing due to the demand for improvement of traffic convenience and development of underdeveloped area. Therefore, there frequently are sections where tunnels and interchanges are located close to each other. These sections do not only affect tunnel planning, types and length of interchanges, but also affect more on route selection. In Korea, several design criteria present each reference value but these values are very similar. In the situation, the minimum value among them is usually applied when planning roads and it could cause traffic safety problems in different site conditions. In this study, the problems of design speed, illuminance adaptation distance, and lane change intervals are analyzed by simulating the cases that the problem could occur when calculating the separation distance between tunnel and interchange. The results obtained from this study can be summarized as following: the driving speed should be applied in case that the site has a big gap between design speed and driving speed because the uniform application of the design speed is not safe; the illuminance adaptation distance should include the influence distance in the section affected by the direct light; in addition, the lane change distance should include the time to perceive the situation of the next lane after the lane change in the section required for successive lane change.
