With an increasing interest in the commercialization of research results in the present societal climate, especially in the construction industry, preliminary product analysis plays a critical role when introducing a new product to the market. It significantly influences the product's success or failure. In this context, this study aims to investigate the utility of Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) as a management strategy tool for preliminary analysis in the commercialization of new architectural technologies. The study specifically assesses a smart ball product engineered for pipeline inspection. The evaluation is carried out based on product quality, convenience, and usability categories. Seventeen factors are recognized as sub-items, and a survey is conducted among relevant experts and consumer groups. From the survey, four key items are chosen: "Keep up the good work," "Concentrate here," "Low priority," and "Possible overkill." Suitable strategic measures are derived for each item. By conducting a correlation analysis between product importance and performance, this study offers a method to establish priority directions for future development. This analysis assists in identifying areas that necessitate improvement or additional focus to increase the product's commercial potential. On the whole, this study contributes to understanding and applying Importance-Performance Analysis as a valuable tool in the preliminary analysis and commercialization of novel technologies in the field of architecture.

For newly incoming technologies owing to the advancements in information and communications technology, the new form of information occurs due to the combination form of personal information. In turn, personal information which is combination with existing personal information is on the increase. It is difficult to equalize the method in order to analysis the degree of risk for personal information because it is qualitative method which is defined on the current Personal Information Protection Law. This dissertation presents the model to assess the degree of risk by using the IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) after measuring the importance and the weighted value for the personal information based on the existing the method of risk assessment. Through the model suggested in this dissertation, the subjective judgement can be excluded, the combination of personal information can be assessed and the standard criteria which is used as the objective indicators from the quantitative degree of risk can be suggested.

This study suggests a measure method for measuring variables that are used for hotel corporations' CRM performance. For this purpose, I present a combined method between factor analysis and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis. Factor analysis gives us a result that shows a group of highly correlated variables and another group of less correlated variables. Thus, factor analysis can only give information of factor categorization. Although researchers add ANOVA analysis or regression analysis, these efforts can not connect its results with factor analysis. Therefore, In hotel CRM performance analysis, calculation of each factor's importance is strongly required. For that reason, I suggest a method that combines AHP analysis with factor analysis for Hotel CRM performance measurement.

This study is intended to search for action strategy making it possible to compare and overcome a gap between the awareness of importance and the present performance of human rights in the Disabled Residential Facilities. To this end, an empirical study was made on how high the level of awareness of human rights in the Disabled Residential Facilities and the level of performance was and whether there was gap between the awareness of importance and the present performance for 114 directors in Gyeonggi, Gyeongbuk and Jeonnam province. The results of study are as follows. First, it was shown that they shared the perception that human rights in residential care home were important. Second, it was shown that there was a statistically significant difference in the gap analysis between the level of performance and importance of human rights area in residential care home. Third, the results of analysis using IPA matrix were presented in order to establish an action strategy making it possible to overcome a gap between importance and performance. On the basis of these results, practical implications and further research topics were presented.

Recently, highway service becomes a very important service in highways. Highway service is considered as a positive interaction method between highway service companies and customers. From this perspective, this study was to investigate the relationships between influencing factors of highway service and user satisfaction. And, this research was to examine the differences between importance and performance of highway service factors using IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). The result of this study has categorised the 22 highway service attributes into seven highway service selection factors: food, culture, kindness and health, products, large space, employee and Phone, facility. Using IPA, this study has compared the importance and performance of highway service selection factors, as perceived highway service customers. The empirical findings suggest that strategic framework using IPA gives guidelines that improve effectiveness of highway service.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference between job importance awareness and actual job achievement of archivists of private universities through importance-performance analysis (IPA), and to analyze the difference between certified and noncertified archivists about the above two factors. To achieve the purpose, the detailed job activities were drawn through a review of laws, regulations, and policies. The detailed list of job activities was confirmed by a few current archivists, Using the confirmed list of detailed job activities, a survey was conducted for archivists of private universities. The collected data in the survey were analyzed using the IPA method. According to the study results, the two groups of archivists have a clear understanding of their jobs; however, environmental factors influence the actual achievement of the jobs.

The purpose of this study was to verify the analysis of differences between importance and satisfaction of destination attractiveness for the national marine sports games using IPA method. By doing so, this study aimed to utilize the result of study for a practical marketing strategy in operating and establishing Korean marine sports market circumstances. The participants of this study consisted of 328 who were participated in marine sport event (yacht, fin-swimming, canoe, triathlon and so on) of 9th national marine sports games. Samples were extracted by convenient sampling method. A total 328 questionnaires were collected in this study except data which did not respond or trustless responded. In data processing, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, frequency analysis, paired t-test and Importance-Performance Analysis were performed through SPSS 20.0. The results were as follows. First, I quadrant included Programs Multiplicity, Pamphlet, Stand preparations, Food Cleanliness, Effective Progress, Guide Know-How, Food taste. Third, II quadrant included Pre-Publicity, Internet Information, Proper Food Price, Shade Facilities, Convenient Parking, Restroom Cleanliness, Number of Restroom, Safety Facilities. Fourth, III quadrant included Entertaining Program, Number of Guide, Local Culture, Game Progress, Directional Sign. Fifth, IV quadrant included Performance Program, Well-Matched Event, View Distance, Various Food.

As the need for entrepreneurship to create new values and innovate in the rapidly changing social environment is emerging, education for entrepreneurial is emerging in university education. The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of entrepreneurship education and to derive the priority of education based on actual indicators of importance-performance. For this study, we surveyed 227 female college students in E Woman's University by using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method for entrepreneurship factors. The result showed that the means of importance of all factors and sub-factors of entrepreneurship were higher than the means of performance of them, and the difference was statistically significant except for the determination. In addition, the results of the IPA matrix analysis showed that the factors that needed urgent improvement in self-confidence, future-orientation, active/innovative activities, and proactivity. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the development of entrepreneurship curriculum for college students in engineering field were discussed. This study is meaningful that it provided practical basic information of curriculum design leading to the manifestation of entrepreneurship of women in engineering field by analyzing entrepreneurship of female engineering students and deriving priority factors of educational treatment.

A throughflow analysis program for axial flow turbines is constructed, which can handle not only the two-dimensional multi-streamline (streamline curvature) method but also the one-dimensional mean line method. Calculations are performed for single stage and multi-stage axial flowturbines. For a wide operating range, the performance and flow field calculated by the present streamline curvature method are close enough to the test data. It is also revealed for the single stage turbine that the present analysis leads to far better correspondence with the experiment than other researchers" throughflow analyses. A special focus is put on the comparison of the results between the streamline curvature analysis and the mean line analysis. It is found that the mean line analysis can not predict the performance for highly off-designed conditions as accurately as the streamline curvature method, which shows the importance of considering the spanwise variation of loss and flow.

Integrated construction site management using RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) and facility maintenance introducing USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) have been widely used in the mega construction project sites. But, the validation on performance of RFID systems after introducing those has not been carried out. Given that the use of RFID systems have been increased, the construction industry as well as other industries needs the evaluation of the RFID system. By regarding the necessities for evaluation, a research to the satisfaction and importance evaluation of RFID system from the end-users' view point for site management was conducted. Satisfaction-importance matrix of satisfaction standards and importance standards was created (organised) according to the analysis result of a survey, proposed improvement methods and analysis about the items presented by each region like areas of sustainable maintenance, maintenance, progressive improvement and priority improvement. The result would contribute to enhance the utilization of system and its performance.
