The burning rates of combustible cartridge cases(CCCs) of 120mm kinetic energy ammunition were measured by CBT(Closed Bomb Tester). The burning coefficient was 1.4 for CCC fabricated by Post Impregnation(PI) process, and 1.0 for that by Beater Additive(BA) process. The BA process CCC showed the fixed burning coefficient of 1.0 in spite of changing the composition of CCC. As the Korean Future Main Battle Tank is requiring the high penetration performance compared with that of KlAl tank ammunition(K276), CCC was designed to have higher impetus composition than that of K276 composition(525J/g). The optimum impetus was 600J/g when considering the increases of pressure and muzzle velocity with increasing impetus. When impetus of CCC by changing the composition increased from 525J/g to 600J/g, the muzzle velocity of 12m/s at pressure increase of 3500psi increased in case of using SCDB propellant.

Nowadays, the growth rate of organisational politics in the library system is a cause of concern for library and information professionals. This has negatively impacted service delivery, most especially in public uni- versity libraries. This study examined the effect of organisational politics on job impetus among library personnel in selected public universities in South-west Nigeria. Three federal and three state universities were purposively selected such that one university was selected in each of the six states in South-west Nigeria. Total enumeration was used for all 187 library personnel in the six universities investigated. Using a descriptive survey of correlational type, a structured questionnaire was used to elicit information from respondents through survey monkey. Of 187 copies administered, 143, representing 76.5%, were retrieved and used for analysis. The results revealed a high level of organisational politics with low impetus. A strong inverse relationship was established between organisational politics and job impetus among library personnel in selected public universities in South-west Nigeria. Based on these, recommendations were made that Library personnel be encouraged to focus on their job specifications and limit organisational politics adhering to rules and regulations in the library and code of conduct for library staff.

Neural networks are a class of systems that have many simple processors (neurons) which are highly interconnected. The function of each neuron is simple, and the behavior is determined predominately by the set of interconnections. Thus, a neural network is a special form of parallel computer. Although major impetus for using neural networks is that they may be able to "learn" the solution to the problem that they are to solve, we argue that another, perhaps even stronger, impetus is that they provide a framework for designing massively parallel machines. The highly interconnected architecture of switching networks suggests similarities to neural networks. Here, we present switching applications in which neural networks can solve the problems efficiently. We also show that a computational advantage can be gained by using nonuniform time delays in the network.

The current development tend of the gun propellants that they should have low sensitivity and high energy. We studied a nitrocellulose based propellant composition that replaced sensitive NG with RDX and DEGDN which high energy and low sensitivity. The important factors in the design of the gun propellant were impetus and flame temperature. NC-based propellant containing RDX showed similar impetus but low flame temperature compared to KM30A1, a triple-based propellant. The developed propellant composition didn't show any abnormal combustion reaction and the characteristics of ballistic resistance were also confirmed.

본 연구는 전조등 밝기변화에 따른 운전자의 심리적 특성을 밝히기 위하여 심리평가를 실시하였다. 피험자는 20대 남, 녀 각각 20명 총 40명이며, 실험조건은 파형, 전압, 변동시간으로 구성한 32개 조건이다. 평가는 8개의 주관적 평가항목과 19쌍의 형용사로 구성된 5점 SD척도의 평가지를 사용하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. SD법의 심리평가 결과, 요인분석에서 4요인으로 나타났으며, A파형은 안전감과 자극감 요인에서, B파형은 안전감 요인에서 유의차가 나타났다. 또한 A파형은 안전감 요인에서 12[V], 자극감 요인에서 11[V]가 전압변동의 한계치로 나타났으며, B파형에서는 안전감 요인이 12.6[V]가 한계치로 나타났다. 2. 주관적 평가 결과, A파형의 밝기변화의 한계치는 12[V]로 나타났다. 또한B파형의 밝기변화는 12.67[V], 불쾌감은 12.12[V], 어두워짐에 대해서는 12.71[V]가 전압변동의 한계치로 나타났다. C파형의 밝기변화의 한계치는 12[V]로 나타났다.

Misunderstanding of multimedia in the computer industry, the confusion of consumers, and the lack of understanding of technology in the human context provide an impetus for examining and speculating on the future of multimedia. "What can a multimedia technology do ?" is not a sufficient question for consumers until we add "for whom." Both how the relevant technology is likely to develop and how human choices would be made are examined with a focus on historical trend in media technology adoption.

Great impetus has come from the renewed emphasis on improving public transport in many countries. In Korea, built over 12 years at a cost of ${\$}12$ billion and modeled on the TGV of France, the Korea Train Express will open for regular traffic on April, 2004. The schematic design of terminal building for Kwang-Myeong station was chosen by the international competition in 1997. Mooyoung Architects and Engineers joined with AREP, French Architect awarded.

The works of Alessandro Mendini doing a big role in Italian design give us fresh impetus and the message on future design. His work activity has created new space and given the second life with arranging radical and fresh visual ornaments by using various materials. His design works have been challenged on fixed and ordinary thought. He applies gorgeous and plain natural colors. When he develops idea into the form, his works hold meditation and clear subjectivity. Alessandro Mendini makes us aware that his work of arts connects human spirit with thing.
