Abstract

Great impetus has come from the renewed emphasis on improving public transport in many countries. In Korea, built over 12 years at a cost of ${\$}12$ billion and modeled on the TGV of France, the Korea Train Express will open for regular traffic on April, 2004. The schematic design of terminal building for Kwang-Myeong station was chosen by the international competition in 1997. Mooyoung Architects and Engineers joined with AREP, French Architect awarded.
