In this erratum, we correct a mistake in the proof of Proposition 2.7. In fact the equivalence (3) ⇐ (4) "R is a quasi-regular ring if and only if R is a reduced ring and every principal ideal contained in Z(R) is a 0-ideal" does not hold as we only have Rx ⊆ O(S).

Conventional yaw functions are compared with actual response of a hot wire to various yaw angles, and a new function is proposed, which can be applied at large yaw angles and low velocities. To compare the accuracy of the new yaw function with those of the conventional ones, measurements are made for the jet flow at the nozzle exit and at .chi./D=15 with an X hot-wire probe. In the potential core, the flow angles reduced by the present function, ideal angle method and full velocity-angle method are shown to be more accurate than those reduced by the cosine function and Hinze's formula. No matter which yaw functions are used, the profiles of mean velocity and turbulence intensity show little discrepancy at .chi./D=15. However, there is a significant difference between the probability density functions obtained by the present function, ideal angle method and full velocity-angle method and those obtained by the cosine function and Hinze's formula.

In this paper I discuss if we can regard Hilbert at the time of Hilbert's program as an instrumentalist. For this I first provide some textual evidences for the instrumentalist interpretation, then examine the three recent criticisms in turn. I argue that the reading Hilbert as an instrumentalist is still tenable in spite of these criticisms.

Previously T.Porter [3] has given a relative Chinese Remainder Theorem under the hypothesis that given ring R has at least one .tau.-closed maximal ideal (by his notation Ma $x_{\tau}$(R).neq..phi.). In this short paper we drop his overall hypothesis that Ma $x_{\tau}$(R).neq..phi. and give the proof and some related results with this Theorem. In this paper R will always denote a commutative ring with identity element and all modules will be unitary left R-modules unless otherwise specified. Let .tau. be a given hereditarty torsion theory for left R-module category R-Mod. The class of all .tau.-torsion left R-modules, dented by J is closed under homomorphic images, submodules, direct sums and extensions. And the class of all .tau.-torsionfree left R-modules, denoted by F, is closed under taking submodules, injective hulls, direct products, and isomorphic copies ([2], Proposition 1.7 and 1.10).

Compared to the wide spread of convergence in government and industries there are still lack of theoretical foundation and effective methodologies to successfully implement it. Especially, there are few remarkable results on the ideal types of convergence business model (BM) in both domestic and foreign researchers. In this paper we show theoretical types, strategic alternatives, and design steps of convergence BM could be developed based on '4WH1H model' which is a conceptual framework of a BM. 4W1H model includes 5 constituents of a BM, i. e., customer value, value proposition, operation, target market, and supply capability. We derive 5 theoretical types of convergence BMs depending on the focus of innovation, i.e., value, product, operation, market, and capability. After defining the constituents and types (i.e., structural aspects) of convergence BM, we also show a BM could be linked with business strategy by defining the interaction among 5 constituents (i.e., behavioral aspects) of convergence BM.

Over the last half-century, computer science has revolutionarily changed the landscape of humanities research. This digital shift in research methodology has reached from the brainstorming process to preserving, constructing, collecting, visualizing, and even analyzing materials. Such transformation has brought about the birth of the new field of study: Digital Humanities (DH). DH undeniably has saved much of the physical chores and provided a new angle to interpret the text, thereby making its meteoric rise as a promising future of the humanities. Based on such innovation, electronic circuitry can seem to replace the imagination that detects relationships and significances of research data with ever-improving interfaces. However, despite hitherto technological development, the thousands-year-old essence of traditional liberal arts-human creativity-remains the heart of humanities research and always will. This paper starts by proving this proposition in the way of comparing the old and new liberal arts research methods, focusing on literary studies. Meanwhile, it thoroughly investigates how digitalized bibliographies, search engines, databases, and digital projects provide the most useful data preservation and virtual experience of browsing in the library, along with their limitations due to the intrinsic quality of humanities research data. Also, it probes the differences between traditional and digital data analysis in current methods of literary studies, ultimately presenting the ideal direction for humanities development in the era of digital convergence.
