우주발사체 지상고정장치 유압시스템 설계 및 해석 (Design and simulation of hydraulic system for launch vehicle holding device)

  • 발사체 지상고정장치는 지상운용시 발사패드에 기립된 발사체를 견고하게 지지하다가 발사시점에서 고정장치를 해제하여 발사체를 이륙하도록 하는 장치이다. 엔진점화이후 발사체 최대추력에서 발사체 고정의 급격한 해제는 Ka Doing a Doing a Doing 현상을 발생시켜 발사체 구조에 심각한 손상을 초래한다. 따라서, 발사체 지상고정장치는 고정력을 점진적으로 해제하기위한 기능이 요구된다. 또한 총 4개 고정장치의 해제 동작은 대단히 정밀하게 동시에 작동 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 복잡한 유압기기 없이 축압기 및 파이로 밸브에 의해 유압구동기의 속도를 발생시키고 오리피스로 속도를 제어함으로써 요구조건들을 충족하는 유압시스템을 제안하였다. 다물체 동역학 해석 및 Amesim을 이용한 유압시스템 해석을 통하여 유압구동기 목표속도를 도출하고 목표 속도를 만족하기 위한 오리피스의 단면적을 산출하였다. 이와 같은 연구를 통하여 복잡한 유압기기 없이 동작하는 신뢰도 높은 유압시스템을 설계하였다.

고소작업차의 원격 제어를 포함한 중앙집중식 컨트롤러 및 유압식 상승리프트 개발 (Development of Centralized controller with remote control and hydraulic lift)

  • 본 연구는 선행 연구로 진행되었던 과수원 및 농경지에서 사용되는 고소작업차의 안정적인 요소를 설계하기 위하여 진행되었다. Auto leveling system과 수평센서를 이용하여 불규칙하고 경사가진 곳에서 안전하게 작업하기 위하여 유압식 상승리프트를 개발하였으며 고소작업대에서의 제어를 하기 위하여 원격 제어를 포함한 중앙집중식 컨트롤러의 개발을 진행하였다. 개발된 모듈을 통하여 고소작업대에서의 안정적 제어가 되는지 현장 시 운행을 실시하였으며, 고소 작업대의 구조해석을 통하여 작업자가 작업대에서 안전하게 작업을 할 수 있는 최대 적재 하중 및 균등 적재량을 제시함으로서 보다 안전에 대해 유의하도록 하였다. 각 부위별 설계 및 검증, 제작을 통하여 완성된 고소기계차의 현장 시운행을 통하여 프로토타입의 고소기계차를 제작하였고, 몇 가지의 수정 보완 사항을 통하여 연구를 지속적으로 행할 예정이다.

Effect of Sulfide Removal on Sulfate Reduction at pH 5 in a Hydrogen Fed Gas-Lift Bioreactor

  • Biotechnological treatment of sulfate- and metal-ions-containing acidic wastewaters from mining and metallurgical activities utilizes sulfate-reducing bacteria to produce sulfide that can subsequently precipitate metal ions. Reducing sulfate at a low pH has several advantages above neutrophilic sulfate reduction. This study describes the effect of sulfide removal on the reactor performance and microbial community in a high-rate sulfidogenic gas-lift bioreactor fed with hydrogen at a controlled internal pH of 5. Under sulfide removal conditions, 99% of the sulfate was converted at a hydraulic retention time of 24 h, reaching a volumetric activity as high as 51 mmol sulfate/l/d. Under nonsulfide removal conditions, <25% of the sulfate was converted at a hydraulic retention time of 24 h reaching volumetric activities of <13 mmol sulfate/l/d. The absence of sulfide removal at a hydraulic retention time of 24 h resulted in an average $H_2S$ concentration of 18.2 mM (584 mg S/I). The incomplete sulfate removal was probably due to sulfide inhibition. Molecular phylogenetic analysis identified 11 separate 16S rRNA bands under sulfide stripping conditions, whereas under nonsulfide removal conditions only 4 separate 16S rRNA bands were found. This shows that a less diverse population was found in the presence of a high sulfide concentration.

고층건물 시공자동화를 위한 다중 클라이밍 유압로봇의 운동 동기제어 (Synchronous Motion Control of Multi-Climbing Hydraulic Robots for High-Rise Building Construction Automation)

  • Multi-climbing hydraulic robots are used to lift construction factory (CF) synchronously for applications in the automation of a high-rise building construction. In this study, synchronous motion controller is proposed for the hydraulic robots, whose strategy is not only to make each robot follow the reference path basically by sliding-mode control, but also to synchronize motions of two adjacent cent robots consecutively by cross-coupled control technique. Simulations are performed by using SIMULINK for a system similar to a practical application that includes unbalance in CF and wind disturbance. The results show that the proposed controller significantly reduces synchronous errors, compared to the individual controller for each hydraulic robot.

Development of a hydraulic power transmission system for the 3-point hitch of 50-kW narrow tractors

  • High performance small and mid-sized tractors are required for dryland and orchard operations. A power transmission system is the most important issue for the design of high performance tractors. Many operations, such as loading and lifting, use hydraulic power. In the present study, a hydraulic power transmission system for the 3-point hitch of a 50 kW narrow tractor was developed and its performance was evaluated. First, major components were designed based on target design parameters. Target operations were spraying, weeding, and transportation. Main design parameters were determined through mathematical calculation and computer simulation. The capacity of the hydraulic cylinder was calculated taking the lifting force required for the weight of the implements into consideration. Then, a prototype was fabricated. Major components were the lifting valve, hydraulic cylinder, and 3-point hitch. Finally, performance was evaluated through laboratory tests. Tests were conducted using load weights, lift arm sensor, and lift arm height from the ground. Test results showed that the lifting force was in the range of 23.5 - 29.4 kN. This force was greater than lifting forces of competing foreign tractors by 3.9 - 4.9 kN. These results satisfied the design target value of 20.6 kN, determined by survey of advanced foreign products. The prototype will be commercialized after revision based on various field tests. Improvement of reliability should be also achieved.

공기부상반응조에서 체류시간과 반송율에 의한 유기물질 및 질소제거 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Organics and Nitrogen Removal by HRT and Recycling Rate in Air Lift Reactors)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the air lift reactors (ALR) by variations of HRT and recycling rate. Air lift reactor was composed of bioreactor and clarifier above it. To remove organic matters and nitrogen through the formation of microbic film and filtration, bio-filter reactors were filled with clay, glass, bead, waste plastic, respectively. Influent wastewater was fed to biofilter reactor, and effluent wastewater from bio-filter reactor was injected ALR again, instead of adding external carbon source. Effluent BOD concentration was satisfied with lower than 10 mg/L in recycling rate 100% regardless of the variation of HRT and the kinds of media materials. In HRT 4 hr, recycling rate 100%, BOD removal efficiency rate was from about 85 to 90%, COD removal efficiency rate was higher than 90%. Effluent TN concentration was satisfied with less than 20 mg/L, if HRT was maintained by over than 6 hr regardless of recycling rate and media materials. Over than HRT was 4 hr, microbes concentration in air lift reactor was maintained over than 2,500 mg/L constantly, not sensitive to environmental condition, and organic removal was effective as it was higher.

  • Some simple devices to demonstrate important hydraulic principles to students are necessitated in fluid mechanics or hydraulics classes. These devices should\ulcorner be easy to make and operate with inexpensive cost. The writer has studied some simple demonstrhation apparatus of hydraulic principles which were made with cheap materials. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the study. In this paper, hydraulic principles that can be demonstrated by using these apparatus are described, the plans of them are presented, and how to make them and what materiaIs to be used are briefly explained. An axial-flow fan is a device with which the flow of air is supplied for several purposes. It consists of a duct, a fan and a guide vane. It may be possible to demonstrate the principles of propeIler,drag force, lift, etc.

  • Recently, controlled auto ignition(CAI) in gasoline engines are drawing more attentions due to its extremely low level of NOx emissions and potentials in lowering the fuel consumption rate. The one of the key techniques for realizing CAI combustion in engines is the control of valve system. Since the valve linkage system with higher complexity, or even earn-less valve systems, such as electro-hydraulic and electro-magnetic system, are adopted in CAI engines, it is not easy to estimate the valve lift profile from earn profiles. Therefore new measurement techniques for valve lift in CAI engines have been tried and tested. In this paper, hole type valve lift sensor was developed and tested to check the applicability in CAI engines. The valve lifts could be obtained from the sensor signal, which depends on the distance from the sensor to magnet attached to valve. Various engine speeds, ranging from 2,000 to 6,000 rpm, and valve lifts, maximum up to 9.7 mm, were tested. It was found that the sensor output for valve lift had accuracy of 98% in comparison with the basic specifications of valve lift through improvements of sensor driving circuit.

유압실린더를 사용한 갠트리 크레인의 안전성 검증 (Safety Verification of Gantry Cranes using Hydraulic Cylinders)

  • A typical gantry crane is generally used to lift and transport objects in various workplaces. Most of the supporting structures in a gantry crane are fixed on the ground while the moving hoist is running overhead along the girder. There are some disadvantages to its long installation time and high installation cost. Therefore, a hydraulic based gantry crane was studied to solve the issues of typical gantry cranes. The supporting structure of the proposed gantry crane consisted of a hydraulic cylinder and telescopic boom. The dimension of the proposed gantry crane can be decreased due to its simplified structure. The analytical and theoretical methods were used to verify the structural stability of the proposed crane. The most severe load condition was considered for the analysis, and the stress and deflection of the structure are analyzed. The simulation results were as expected from the theoretical analysis. Finally, the structural and dynamic safety of the proposed hydraulic based gantry crane was validated. The obtained results can be used as guidelines in the design process of the hydraulic based gantry crane.

  • 유체 유동상의 인자로 구성된 핵연료집합체에 걸리는 수력적 양력의 정확한 표현식은 핵연료의 건전성 설계 및 해석에 중요한 인자이다. 그러나 현재까지 이 양력에 대한 이론적인 해석이 제대로 이루어지고 있지 않아 이 분야에 혼란이 빚어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 핵연료 집합체에 걸리는 수력적 양력에 대한 정확한 표현식을 이론적인 고찰을 통하여 유도하였으며 또한 양력에 관련된 제반 힘 요소들 즉, 압력강하, 부력, 전단응력, 집합체하중, 상호간의 관계를 검토하였다. 유도된 정확한 이론식을 이용하여 양력에 관한 간이식 오차의 특성을 분석한 결과 오차는 4가지 항으로 구성됨과 총 오차의 크기는 노심 유량의 변화 방향에 따라 달라짐을 알 수 있었다. 정량적인 분석을 COBRAIV-I를 이용하여 수행한 결과 총 오차의 크기는 약 1% 정도임이 밝혀졌다.
