향수제품 디자인을 위한 색과 향의 교차-양상 연상관계 (Cross-Modal Associations between Colors and Fragrances for Commercial Perfume Design)

  • 향수제품의 향에 적합한 색을 향수병과 포장지에 적용함으로써, 제품의 향을 소비자들에게 효과적으로 전달할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 두 개의 실험연구를 통해 색과 향의 교차-양상 연상관계를 조사하였다. 첫 번째 실험에서는 현재 시장에 출시되어 있는 약 200여개 향수병의 색을 분석하여 향의 종류에 따른 차별화된 색채 디자인 패턴을 발견하였다. 두 번째 실험에서는 국내 소비자들을 대상으로 향과 색의 대응관계를 조사하였다. 향수병을 볼 수 없는 상황에서 피실험자들에게 세 가지 향수제품의 향을 맡은 후 연상되는 색을 선택하게 하였다. 그 결과 세 가지 향수제품 모두 차별화된 색상(hue) 대응이 이루어졌고, 선정된 색상은 실제 향수병의 색상과 상당히 유사한 색상 영역에 분포하였다. 또한 향수제품의 세 가지 향 노트(상향, 중향, 하향)에 따라 연상되는 색의 현저한 톤(tone) 변화를 발견하였다. 위의 두 가지 실험을 통해 시중에 판매되고 있는 향수제품에 있어 향과 색 간의 뚜렷한 교차-양상 연상관계가 있음을 제안하였다.

고화질 색 재현을 위한 추가적인 잉크와 정량적인 낟알 무의 측정자를 이용한 6색 분리 (Six Color Separation Using Additional Colorants and Quantitative Granularity Metric for Photography Quality)

  • 본 논문에서는 측색적인 오차와 낟알 무의 현상을 동시에 감소시키기 위해 추가적인 잉크와 정량적인 낟알 무의 측정자를 이용한 6색 분리 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 6색 분리 방법에서는 3색이나 4색 프린터에서 나타나는 도트의 가시성을 줄이기 위해 밝은 영역에서 사용되는 묽은 잉크(light magenta와 light cyan)를 진한 잉크(magenta와 cym)로 대체한다. 그러나 묽은 잉크와 진한 잉크의 색상의 차이로 인해서 밝은 영역에서 정확한 측색적인 색 재현이 어렵게 되었다. 이러한 측색적인 오차를 줄이기 위해 추가적인 잉크(additional colorants)인 yellow와 light magenta 잉크를 밝은 영역에서 사용한다. 따라서 밝은 영역에서 magenta 잉크는 light magenta와 yellow로 대체되고 cyan은 light cyan과 light magenta로 대체된다. 이러한 추가적인 잉크의 사용은 진한 잉크의 색상과 유사한 색을 만들 수 있기 때문에 측색적인 오차를 줄일 수 있게 된다. 또한 추가적인 잉크는 작은 도트의 가시성을 갖고 있기 때문에 부드러운 영상도 재현될 수 있다. 한편 중간 영역에서도 부드러운 영상을 획득하기 위해 magenta는 light magenta와 magenta로 대체되고 cyan은 light cyan과 cyan으로 대체된다 그러나 농도가 다른 두 잉크의 사용은 거친 도트 패턴을 생성하게 된다. 이러한 현상을 반영하기 위해 정량적인 낟알 무의 측정자가 사용된다. 어두운 영역에서는 묽은 잉크를 사용해도 더 이상 낟알 무늬가 감소되지 않기 때문에 magenta와 cyan 잉크만 사용한다.

한.일 전통극의 색채문화 비교 (The Comparison of Cultural Color in Traditional Performance of Korea and Japan)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the similarity and difference of color application in the culture of Korea and Japan. The subject of this research is the costume color of Changgeuk and Kabuki. This survey analyzes Munsell's 3 attributes(Hue, Value, Chroma), tone, and 3D color analysis by extracted color data. And representative color according to Obangsaek is proposed. The results of this study are as follows: 1. High chroma red in Kabuki costume is more used as symbolic color(passion and luxurious) in order to show character's personality than that in Changguek costume. 2. Low chroma YR color(no-dyeing color) in Changgeuk costume much more used because of Korean white robe preference and eco-friendly thinking. But high chroma yellow is restrictive color for symbolic color of emperor in Korea and Japan. 3. Blue is most frequently used in both costumes because blue is encouraging color by the theory of exponents of the five elements doctrine. 4. White in Korean Changguek costume is more used for white robe preference thinking, but black in Kabuki costume is much more used for symbol of power in Japan. The similarity of Korean and Japanese cultural color is to use much Obangsaek, less Ogansaek by the theory of exponents of the five elements doctrine, but the difference of Korean and Japanese cultural color is to use color differently according to preference thinking system.

광학적 방법을 이용한 정색반응의 수치화 (Digitize color reaction using the optical method)

  • 본 논문에서는 광학적 방법을 이용하여 정색반응을 정량적으로 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다. 정색반응은 발색, 변색의 현상을 일으키는 화학 변화로 시료 용액에 시약을 더하여 특수한 빛을 나타내게 하여, 물질을 정성적으로 검출하는데 이용된다. 하지만 정색반응 결과로 나타난 색상은 사람마다 색구별이 다르므로 정확한 양을 알 수는 없다. 본 연구에서는 시료의 양에 따라 색상 변화의 미세한 차이를 PICkit Serial Analyzer를 사용하여 색상을 수치화하여 시료의 양에 따른 색의 변화를 정량적으로 측정하였다.

통합환경 계획을 위한 작업복과 작업현장의 색채실태 사례연구 -조선업체를 중심으로- (Case Study Color Analysis of Work Clothes and Industrial Factories for Coordinating Environment Planning -Focus on Shipbuilding Companies-)

  • This research forms preliminary data for the coordination of environmental color planning in industry through a color analysis of work clothes and the work environment. A digital camera was used to study the work environment of two major shipbuilding companies located in Geoje city and Goseong county. The picture data was analyzed as G (ground: environment) and F (figure: clothes), and analyzed hue, value, and the chroma value through a Muncell conversion 9.0.6 from the color cluster, number of pixel, and RGB value. The results are as follows: First, GY, Y color were mostly used in the shipbuilding environment and work clothes. The color value was used in a relatively wide range but very low chroma (0-3), dark grayish, grayish tone dominated both fields. Second, the use of limited colors cannot be secured for safety in attention of the shipbuilding field. Third, unclear and vogue colors lessened the optical tiredness of workers that helped in the prevention of industrial accidents. Color combination and color selection should be considered for a secure safety color coordination between work clothes and the work environment when it comes to complicated color principles.

테마별 이미지 Make-up에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Image Make-up according to Theme)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the history of 20th century fashion and make-up culture, analyze trend of the modern fashion and make-up, creat a cyber make-up model according to themes and also it will find out how to use make-up as a part of fashion genre. As a result of this study is 1. Looking over change-process in 20th century fashion and make-up history, we can find the popular make-up color and pattern reflecting the society and cultural environments. And also make-up culture reflecting their sense of values and way of thinkings. 2. Analyzing fashion and make up color trend of 2002 F/W, we can find a similarity between fashion and make-up color trend by comparing with hue&tone chart. All of theme have a tendency to be natural, veiled, feminine by neutral color and artifical highlighted, illuminate, transparant by clear-high saturation color. 3. Creating imagemaps, color palletes and cyber model of 4 trend themes by computer graphic, It can give more visual and interesting effect on the cyber space, and also it can help to expect make-up will be dizitalized, visualized and informationalized.

기층문화를 통한 한국복식의 색채 특성 연구 (The Characteristics of Color on Korean Costume by Basic Culture)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine a unique characteristic of the colors of the costumes in Korean basic culture in the aim of seeking the characteristics and the conceptual meanings of colors found in the majority’s culture. The scope of the basic culture was divided into folk belief, folk game and folk play. Within these limits, the colors of the dress, accessories, instruments were extracted by comparing with the naked eye in NCS Color System. For the analysis of hue and tone, the secondary dimensional analysis using NCS color system and the three-dimensional analysis using the software, COLOR 3D Version 2.0, were done. The result of this investigation is that the colors of the costume in the Korean basic culture are white, gray and black of achromatic color and yellow, yellowish red and purplish blue. This confirms that the colors based on Five-elements color are becoming the basis too basic culture. And Arche-pattern, which is a characteristic commonly found in the Korean traditional society, was shown as a characteristic of color. The colors of the costumes in Korean basic culture are uniquely adopted by the Korean civilians according to their religious and philosophical living standard. This study is meaningful in seeking a root for the formation of their unique color culture.

보라색 복식의 이미지 특성 (Color Images of Purple Clothing)

  • This study is to demonstrate purple color characteristics by analyzing various purple clothing from Antiquity to modern fashion. In this respect, both documentary and investigative studies have been performed. Through, the documentary studies, the changes and examples of purple clothing were scrutinized, and images of purple were classified based on the Color Image Scale. Purple color samples applied during a period from 1993 to 1996, were collected from 33 women's domestic brands, and the colors were measured by the CE 7000 spectrophotometer and analyzed by Munsell HV/C. The results were shown as follows; 1. In Antiquity, the symbolic value of purple was heavenly color, because it was a bearer of light, a sign of the epiphany of the gods. 2. With the advent of synthetic dyes, purples were in the vanguard. This chemical synthesis gave purple, historically a regal prerogative, to the people, and enjoyed a memorable vogue in the mid-mineteenth century. 3. The purple images in fashion were changed by the factors such as culture-art, technological advances, political-economical situations, sports ect., and appears in modern fashion romantic, natural elegance, classic, gorgeous, chic, and dandy images. 4. In the result of analytical study on women's purple dress in domestic market, 10PB hue and P tone were mosetly used from 1993 to 1996.

색채이미지유형에 따른 워크스테이션의 색채배색에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color Scheme of Workstation Based on the Color Image Types)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the color scheme based on the color image types through the color analysis of workstation furniture which is on the market. This color scheme of the workstation furniture is expected to be give the comfort to office environment when planning office. For this study, It is selected the three furniture firms that have a brand of office furniture and their web site that is showed color sample of furniture. The following researches are drawn based upon the purpose. First, the color image types of interior space is classified and the color image words that are suitable for each types is extracted based on the results of existing literature. Second, the distribution of its hue and tone is analysed after collecting the each firm's color sample of desk top, panel and chair. Third, the color image appearing in each furniture color is analysed by color image scale positioning. Forth, the color scheme of desk top, panel and chair is suggested by its color scheme palette. The result of this study is expected to help comfortable environment by providing the color scheme for selection of furniture color in work space. Not all color of each furniture is sufficient to be combined color scheme, the result is indicated that the color scheme of workstation by color image types is possible for color planning in office environment.

일본 평안시대의 복식색채의장의 특성 (The Characteristics of Costume Color Design in Japanese Heian Period)

  • The Heian Period(794-1192) was the period when luxury and elegance flourished. Gorgeous colors were adopted for the costumes and an el-egant assortment of colors prevailed. Representatiove of such costumes is kasane-no-irome. The world Kasane-no-irome originally came from two colors on both sides of one of the japanese kimonos called Uchiki. In later times it turned to indicate the combination ef-fect of colors of several Uchiki's worn in layers one over the other. This paper describes in de-tail the kasane-no-irome in both meanings. In so doing I distinguish two different kinds of kasane-no-irome using a Chinese character for the formed and for the latter though both are pronounced Kasane in the Japanese language. Part one of this paper which concerns the color combinations of presents typical 148 samples through reproduced dyeing clothes by Matumoto. Part two describes the color com-bination of which was so called Junihitoe. It presents typical 41 samples from reproduced dyeing clothes by Matumoto. The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of color distribution and the structure of color combination in Kasane-no-irome. Therefore we obtained the following results in Kasane-no-irome. 1. The color combination of Kasane-no-irome came from the natural color harmony there-fore the names of kasane-no-irome which adopt the names of flowers and leaves of the foure seasons. Accordingly the seasons for wearing them are fixed. 2. In the hue the most frequent appearance was green. And in the tone the most frequent apperance was moderate. 3. In the color combination the most fre-quent type were monochromatic combination and contrast combination.
