탄산염 침전 전구체의 결정 이방성 제어를 통한 고 비표면적 flower-like CeO2 분말의 제조 및 고온 안정성 평가 (Fabrication and thermal stability of flower-like CeO2 with high surface area via anisotropic crystallization of carbonate precipitation)

  • 산화세륨($CeO_2$)는 고체산화물연료전지, 자동차 삼원 촉매, 산소 캐패시터 소재 등의 고온환경에서 구동되는 촉매 응용분야에 널리 활용되고 있으며 중요한 희토류 산화물 중에 하나이다. 고온 환경에서 $CeO_2$의 우수한 촉매 활성을 유지하기 위하여 초기 합성단계에서 높은 비표면적을 갖는 미세구조제어 연구와 나노 미세구조가 고온 열 사이클과 산화-환원 사이클 변화에서 안정하도록 하는 연구가 필요하여 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 탄산염 침전법의 전구체 결정화 단계에서의 이방성을 정밀 제어하여 고 비표면적의 flower-like $CeO_2$를 성공적으로 합성할 수 있었다. 또한, 서로 다른 탄산염이온 침전제의 침전 반응 경로 제어를 통한 침전 수화물 전구체의 이방적 결정 특성으로부터 최종 고 비표면적 $CeO_2$ 산화물의 미세구조 제어와 고온 안정 제어를 확인하고 특성을 평가하였다.

알칼리 수전해를 위한 상용 음이온교환막의 고온 특성 (High Temperature Characteristics of Commercially Available Anion Exchange Membrane for Alkaline Water Electrolysis)

  • In order to evaluate the possibility as a separator in alkaline water electrolysis, the high temperature characteristics were evaluated by measuring the membrane resistance and durability of 5 types of commercial anion exchange membranes in 7 M KOH solution and at 80℃. The membrane resistance of AEM membrane measured in 7 M KOH solution and at 80℃ had a lower value of about 8-24 times compared to the other membranes. The durability of AEM membrane tested with the soaking time in 7 M KOH solution and at 80℃ showed a very good stability and that of FAAM40 and FAAM75-PK showed secondly a good stability. The thermal stability with the soaking time in 7 M KOH solution and at 80℃ of FAAM40 and FAAM75-PK membrane analyzed by thermo-gravimetric analysis showed a good stability compared to the other membranes.

  • 고층건축물의 구조부재로 적용되는 철골이나 고강도콘크리트로 시공된 경우 내화대책은 필수 불가결한 요소이며 특히, 고강도콘크리트로 적용된 경우 폭렬 등에 의한 단면결손이 발생하기 쉽기 때문에 이에 대한 대책이 필요하다. 즉, 내화성능 확보를 위해 온도상승을 허용범위 이내로 억제하는 대책이 필요하며 이 중 가장 효율적인 방법이 내화성 마감을 실시하는 것이다. 일반적으로 내화성 마감재에 사용되는 시멘트계 재료는 C-S-H, 및 CH가 단계적으로 열 분해되어 압축강도는 저하하게 된다. 내화성능을 발휘하기 위해 고온에서 강도감소가 작고 안정적인 고온특성을 보인다면 보다 효과적으로 성능 발현이 가능할 것이다. 본 연구는 고층건축물의 철골 및 콘크리트 부재의 효과적인 내화성능 발현을 위한 경량 내화성 마감재 개발을 위한 연구로 내화성능이 우수하다고 알려진 Alumino-silicate계 재료를 내화성 마감에 적용하기 위해 고온특성에 대해 검토하였다. 검토 결과, 플라이애시, 메타카올린 및 경량골재를 활용한 경량 내화성 마감재는 고온에서 비교적 안정적인 특성을 발현하여 내화성 마감재로의 효용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Computational thermal stability and critical temperature buckling of nanosystem

  • Many of small-scale devices should be designed to tolerate high temperature changes. In the present study, the states of buckling and stability of nano-scale cylindrical shell structure integrated with piezoelectric layer under various thermal and electrical external loadings are scrutinized. In this regard, a multi-layer composite shell reinforced with graphene nano-platelets (GNP) having different patterns of layer configurations is modeled. An outer layer of piezoelectric material receiving external voltage is also attached to the cylindrical shell for the aim of observing the effects of voltage on the thermal buckling condition. The cylindrical shell is mathematically modeled with first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT). Linear elasticity relationship with constant thermal expansion coefficient is used to extract the relationship between stress and strain components. Moreover, minimum virtual work, including the work of the piezoelectric layer, is engaged to derive equations of motion. The derived equations are solved using numerical method to find out the effects of temperature and external voltage on the buckling stability of the shell structure. It is revealed that the boundary condition, external voltage and geometrical parameter of the shell structure have notable effects on the temperature rise required for initiating instability in the cylindrical shell structure.

  • As the result of reduction of the barrier of national economy on matters of quality assurance of weighing instruments in recently, it is considering in domestic as well as international matters. Therefore, this study is to analysis and compare with international md national measuring standards on the electric self-indicating scale, to improve the quality of electronic machine by providing a reformation plan on currently problems of domestic manufactured, and to identify to introduce in domestic criteria from international standards. I had compared KSC 1313 to OIML R 76-1 as the performance assessment items, such as metrology Properties test, static temperature test, temperature effect testing under the un-load, electronic wave disturbance test, high-tempereature and high-humidity stability test and durability test. Therefore, only one company is passed all items of the test according to the international (reference) standards, but it is possible to improve the quality in general if it should be use the load cell and electric components which is stability of temperature change in order to supplementation to the static temperature test and temperature effect testing under the un-load. It is also possible to apply in the domestic with the OIML 76-1 after correcting the design.

금속계 마찰재와 제동디스크 간의 마찰특성 연구 (Study of Tribological Characteristics Between Metallic Friction Materials and Brake Disk)

  • 소형 다이나모 시험기를 이용하여 4종류의 금속계 소결마찰재와 내열합금 디스크간의 마찰특성을 평가하였다. 고속철도용 소결마찰재는 항공기용 소결마찰재 보다 높은 마찰계수와 마찰계수 안정성을 나타내며, 마모량도 적었다. 또한, 동합금 기지 마찰재는 철계 기지 마찰재보다 마찰면의 온도가 급격히 상승하면 냉각도 빨리 이루어졌다. 시험 후 모든 마찰면에서 Fe 기지의 산화피막이 형성되었고, 산회피막에 따라 마찰특성이 달라졌으며, 마찰면에서는 정상마 모분이 일부가 마찰면 단차부에서 트랩되는 것을 확인하였다.

다공성실리콘의 탄화를 이용한 PL의 열적안정성 증진 (Enhancement of Thermal Stability in Photoluminescence by Carbonization of Porous silicon)

  • Porous silicon was prepared by an anodic etching. The pore size was about 10 nm at an etching time of 20 sec and a current density of 20 mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The porous layer was composed of an micro-porous layer (0.6 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) and a macro-porous layer (10 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$). Room temperature PL with maximum peak 6700$\AA$ appeared. The peak disappeared by an oxidation reaction when the porous silicon was heated to 100~20$0^{\circ}C$ in atmosphere. In order to avoid the oxidation a heat treatment was done in H2 atmosphere. The micro-pore and Si column, which formed quantum well, were collapsed by the high temperature. The PL maximum peak of heated sample was gradually red-shifted and showed about 300$\AA$ red-shift at 50$0^{\circ}C$. The intensity of PL was maintained to high temperatures in lower pressures. The porous Si was carbonized in C2H2+H2 gas in order to increase thermal stability. The carbonization of the porous Si prevented red-shift of the maximum PL peak caused by sintering effect at high temperatures, and the carbonized porous Si showed Pl signal at higher temperatures by above 20$0^{\circ}C$ than the sample in H2 atmosphere.

  • This paper describes the fabrication and characteristics of ceramic thin film type pressure sensors based on Ta-N strain gauges for high temperature applications. Ta-N thin-film strain gauges are deposited onto a thermally oxidized Si diaphragm by RF sputtering in an argon-nitrogen atmos[here($N_2$ gas ratio: 8%, annealing condition: 90$0^{\circ}C$, 1 hr.), patterned on a wheatstone bridge configuration, and used as pressure sensing elements with a high stability and a high gauge factor. The sensitivity is 1.097 ~ 1.21 mV/Vㆍkgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ in the temperature range of 25 ~ 200 $^{\circ}C$ and the maximum non-linearity resistance), non-linearity than existing Si piezoresistive pressure sensors. The fabricated ceramic thin-film type pressure sensor is expected to be usefully applied as pressure and load sensors that os operable under high-temperature.

제이인산(第二燐酸)칼슘의 제조조건(製造條件)에 따른 성상(性狀) 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Properties of Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate According to the Manufacturing Condition)

  • Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate (DCPD) is the most widely-used dentifrice abrasive in non-therapeutic tooth-paste requiring, low abrasive level, high stability and excellent compatibility with other formulation ingredients. One of the difficulties encountered in the use of this material in tooth-paste is that unless storage of the product is maintained at a relative low temperature there is a distinct tendency to lose water of crystallization. Another difficulty which has been encountered is that there is a tendency for the product to become lumpy. Various means have been proposed for increasing the stability and overcoming the lumping tendency, most of which means comprise the addition of stabilizing agent. But there is not any report about the relationships between the mechanism of dehydration, physical properties, structure and manufacturing condition. In this experiment, DCPD were manufactured by methods of Moss' patent, its two varied and J.P.VIII, these were studied by means of stability test, IR spectra, and DTA. According to the manufacturing conditions, DCPD has different physical properties and structures, i. e., monoclinic system of low drying temperature, triclinic system of high drying temperature. Dehydration of DCPD may be supposed one step debydration at about $100^{\circ}$ and it finaly converts to ${\gamma}-pyrophosphate$ at about $465^{\circ}$ and if the drying temperature is high it becomes DCP anhydrous. DCPD made by Moss' patent is thought of the best polishing agent of tooth-paste.
