This study was conducted to examine the influence of different styles of attribution to fine dust on preventive behaviors. In addition, the mediating effect of risk perception on the relationship between attribution styles and preventive behaviors was examined. Survey data was collected from 930 Korean people from a variety of ages and regions, and a hierarchical multiple regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis. The results indicated that both external and internal attribution to fine dust had a significant positive effect on preventive behavior. The multiple regression analysis revealed that both knowledge and dread had a significantly positive effect on preventive behaviors. In addition, risk perception (knowledge and dread) partially mediated the relationship between the external attribution to fine dust and preventive behavior. However, internal attribution showed only a direct effect on protection behaviors. The significance and limitations of the study were also discussed.

We investigate factors that influence the choice of high-share brands(HSBs) vs. low-share brands(LSBs) among various product and consumer characteristics related to brand-share perceptions. Specifically, using 8 product categories varying in terms of purchase decision involvement, we show how the influencing factors vary across the categories. At the general level that cover all the 8 categories, our hierarchical Bayesian regressions analysis shows that factors that favor high-share brands are purchase decision involvement, search goods, experience goods, price-quality relationship, positive network externalities, and price-prestige beliefs. Conversely, consumers who value variety seeking and need for uniqueness favor low-share brands. The effects of these factors, however, vary across product categories. The identification of these characteristics can help brand managers establish a more effective brand-share strategy in such areas as setting an optimal market share goal, extending a brand, and developing ad copy. Furthermore, our consumer segmentation analysis demonstrates the general market has two distinct segments - (1) a segment composed of HSB buyers(86%) and (2) a segment composed of LSB buyers(14%). The two segments are also shown to have different significant factors that explain their brand choice. Our segmentation analysis can help marketers establish a marketing strategy that targets a specific segment of interest.
The aim of the current study was to investigate the impact of store attribute satisfaction on intentions of revisit and recommendation among clothing consumers. The data were collected from 319 consumers through survey and frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used to obtain results. The findings were as follows: 1. From factor analysis, seven factors were distracted: Fact 1(brand and price), Fact 2(store's facility and environment), Fact 3(product), Fact 4(transportation convenience and access), Fact 5(selling and advertisement), Fact 6(store's atmosphere), and Fact 7(salesman's service). 2. Four factors had statistically significant influence on overall satisfaction of clothing consumers. The most influential factor was Fact 2(store's facility and environment) and Fact 5(selling and advertisement), Fact 1(brand and price), and Fact 4(transportation convenience and access) showed their effects on overall satisfaction in an hierarchical rank-order following Fact 2. 3. Four factors such as Fact 2(store's facility and environment), Fact 1(brand and price), Fact 4(transportation convenience and access) and Fact 5(selling and advertisement) in an hierarchical rank-order from Fact 1 had statistically significant impact on intentions of revisit. 4. Six factors such as Fact 1(brand and price), Fact 2(store's facility and environment), Fact 3(product), Fact 5(selling and advertisement), Fact 6(store's atmosphere), and Fact 7(salesman's service) in an hierarchical rank-order from Fact 1 had statistically significant influence on the intention of recommendation. 5. The results further showed that among seven factors, Fact 1(brand and price), 'Fact 2(store's facility and environment), and Fact 5(selling and advertisement) had impact on both the intention of revisit and the intention of recommendation.

Purpose: This study investigated lifestyle, depression, marital intimacy, and quality of life (QoL) in breast cancer survivors, with the goal of identifying the impacts of these factors on QoL. Methods: A sample of 146 breast cancer survivors was surveyed in this cross-sectional study. Data were collected from March 20 to May 30, 2019, using self-report structured questionnaires at a hospital located in Jeonju, Korea. Data were analyzed using the independent t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis. Participants agreed to complete a face-to-face interview, including administration of the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II, Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 21-Depression Scale, Marital Intimacy Scale, and Functional Assessment Cancer Therapy-Breast Cancer tool. Results: QoL was positively correlated with lifestyle (r=.49, p<.001) and marital intimacy (r=.45, p<.001) and negatively correlated with depression (r=-.72, p<.001). Hierarchical multiple regression analysis showed that depression (β=-0.63, p<.001), marital intimacy (β=0.19, p=.001), and lifestyle (β=0.13, p=.031) had significant effects on the QoL of breast cancer survivors, accounting for 63.3% of variance in related QoL. Conclusion: This study provides insights into how breast cancer survivors' QoL was influenced by depression, marital intimacy, and lifestyle. To improve the QoL of breast cancer survivors, healthcare providers should consider developing strategies to decrease depression, to increase marital intimacy, and to improve lifestyle.
