치과위생사의 감정노동수행형태가 직무소진에 미치는 영향: 동료지지의 조절효과 (Influence of emotional labor on job burnout in dental hygienists: the moderating effect of employee support)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influence of emotional labor on job burnout in dental hygienists based on the moderating effect of employee support. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire by Likert 5 point scale was completed by 219 dental hygienists in Ulsan and Gyeongbuk from March 15 to April 9, 2016. The study instruments consisted of emotional labor, job burnout og Maslach Burnout Inventory, and employee support. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: Surface acting had a positive influence on achievement and negative influence on impersonal chemistry. Inner acting had a positive influence on emotional burnout and achievement. Employee support had a moderating effect on emotional labor and job burnout. Conclusions: The strategy of emotional labor management for dental hygienists is very important for job burnout solution.

부모의 지지와 통제 및 학교생활 적응이 남녀 청소년의 자살생각에 미치는 영향: 우울의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Parental Support, Control and School Life Adjustment on Suicidal Ideation of Adolescents: Mediating Effects of Depression)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to confirm if there are gender differences in influences of parental support, control, and school life adjustment on suicidal ideation of adolescents and to examine the mediating effect of depression on the influences of independent variables on their suicidal ideation. Methods: This study comprised a total of 671 students in seventh and eighth grades in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed for frequency, average, and standard deviation, using the t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and the Sobel test. Results and Conclusion: First, significant differences among adolescents' gender were shown in fathers' psychological control, mothers' behavior control, and suicidal ideation. Second, in the case of male adolescents, all independent variables were found to have a full mediating effect on their suicidal ideation. Meanwhile, in the case of female adolescents, independent variables except for mothers' psychological control were found to have a full mediating effect on their suicidal ideation. Mothers' psychological control was found to have a partial mediating effect on suicidal ideation of adolescents for both genders.

직무만족도가 근로자의 질병결근에 미치는 영향 : 불건강증상 경험수의 조절효과 (Sickness absence and job satisfaction)

  • Sickness absence is one of the most important indicators for worker's health and occupational safety and health performance. Sickness absence is primarily depended upon sickness but psycho-social factors in workplace may moderate sickness absence. Even though worker is falling into illness, sickness absence can be prevented by job satisfaction. In Korea it is very difficult to find research output about the association of sickness absence with job satisfaction. This study is planned to investigate the effect of job satisfaction on sickness absence. The third Korean Working Conditions Survey done by Occupational Safety and Health Research Institute in 2011 was used to analyze by logistic regression analysis. The result has shown that job satisfaction has statistically significant effect on sickness absence and simultaneously diminish the effect of symptoms experience on sickness absence. The effect of job satisfaction is greater in short term sickness absence than in long term sickness absence. This study has some limitation because of the cross sectional data of Korean Working Conditions Survey. In future, sophisticated statistical analysis may be done with modelling.

The Polarization of Wealth: The Effect of Support of Knowledge Management on Knowledge Management Activity and Company Performance

  • This study attempts to verify effects of CEO' supports, compensation and educational training and those of individual annual salaries and company's sales on promotion of knowledge management expected to contribute to enhancing construction industry's competitiveness, from the perspective of person-organization fit. For the analysis, a total of 368 effective questionnaires were used to conduct independent sample t-test, regression analysis and hierarchical moderated regression analysis. The findings show that individual annual salaries have a positive relationship with company's performance and company's sales also have positive relationships with both knowledge management activities and company performance, and CEO's supports, compensation and educational training are important factors that can improve knowledge management activities. In addition, the principle that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer is also operated in construction industry, as in other industries. Therefore, members in a company should conduct optimal strategies to enhance the knowledge management activities through selection and concentration, while governmental agencies require the establishment of IT system for it and supports for related cost and consulting of it.

The Effect of Emotional Labor on Job Satisfaction in Dental Hygienists: Focusing on the Mediation Effects of Positive Psychological Capital

  • Background: This study investigated the effects of positive psychological capital on the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction among dental hygienists. Methods: Data were collected from 296 dental hygienists working at clinical sites in Korea between July 25 and August 15, 2022. Participants were surveyed using structured questionnaires. Statistical analysis was performed using an independent t-test, ANOVA, descriptive statistics, and stepwise multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction was tested using Baron and Kenny's 3-step hierarchical regression analysis. Results: Emotional labor was negatively correlated with positive psychological capital (r=-0.148, p=0.011) and job satisfaction (r=-0.214, p<0.001). Positive psychological capital had a positive correlation with job satisfaction (r=0.441, p<0.001). In addition, the positive psychological capital, had a partial mediating effect (z=-2.472, p=0.013) on the relationship between emotional labor and job satisfaction. Conclusion: Attitudes that reduce emotional labor, which adversely affects job satisfaction, and bolster positive psychological capital are needed.

산림재적 추정을 위한 계층적 베이지안 분석 (Hierarchical Bayesian analysis for a forest stand volume)

  • 산림경영 계획을 위한 필요한 산림재적을 보다 효율적으로 추정하기 위해서 다양한 연구가 요구되어져 왔는데, 이러한 산림구조에 관한 연구는 주로 현장조사와 위성영상을 이용하여 이루어진다. 현장조사를 통한 연구는 비교적 정확하나 시간과 비용이 많이 들 뿐 아니라 접근의 용이성이 떨어지는 지역이 있기 때문에, 넓은 지역의 조사가 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 최근에는 항공기에서 발사된 레이저 펄스가 반사되어 돌아오는 시간을 측정하여 대상의 3차원 좌표를 얻는 LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) 기술을 활용하여 획득한 정밀한 수치형자료를 이용한 산림의 구조에 관한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 일반적으로 산림재적을 추정하기 위해서 LiDAR자료를 이용한 수고자료와 산림 재적에 대한 회귀모형의 중요성이 점차 높아지는데, 국내의 경우 수목의 종류와 그 분포가 다르기 때문에 회귀모형만으로 재적을 추정하는 데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 산림의 수고와 흉고직경을 측정하여 재적값을 추정하고 산림의 공간효과를 고려한 계층적 베이지안 분석을 통해 관측되지 않은 전체 산림재적에 대한 추정을 하고자 한다.

군복무 후 제대한 복학생의 진로결정자기효능감과 자아탄력성이 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-Efficacy and Ego-resilience on College Adaptation after Military Service)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 군복무 후 제대한 복학생의 진로결정자기효능감과 자아탄력성이 대학생활적응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검증하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 전북권에 소재한 4년제 대학교에 군복무 후에 복학한 남학생 234명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며 수집된 자료는 spss 18.0을 사용하여 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 각 변인들 간의 상관관계를 살펴본 결과, 대학생활적응의 하위요인 학업적응과 대학환경적응은 진로결정자기효능감의 목표선택과 자아탄력성의 낙관적태도와 정적상관이 나타났으며 대학생활적응의 사회적응은 진로결정자기효능감의 미래계획과 자아탄력성의 낙관적태도 그리고 대학생활적응의 개인-정서적응은 진로결정자기효능감의 자기평가와 자아탄력성의 자신감 간에 정적상관이 나타났다. 또한 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 자아탄력성은 진로결정자기효능감보다 대학생활적응에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 군복무 후 복학한 남학생만의 자료 수집을 통해 밝힌 본 연구의 의의와 더불어서 연구의 제한점을 논의하였다.

The Relationship Between the Social Network of Community-living Elders and Their Health-related Quality of Life in Korean Province

  • Objectives: This study aimed to collect information that will help enhance the social networks and improve the quality of life among elderly people by observing the relationship between their social network and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and by analyzing social network factors affecting HRQoL. Methods: This study was based on the 2008 Community Health Survey in Yeoncheon County. Three hundred elders were included in the study population. We compared the revised Lubben Social Network Scale (LSNS-R) score and Euro quality of life-5 dimensions health status index by demographic characteristics and chronic disease prevalence. We analyzed the data using multiple regression and tobit regression by setting the HRQoL as the dependent variable and social network and other characteristics as the independent variables. We analyzed social network factors by using factor analysis. Results: The LSNS-R score differed significantly according to age and existence of a spouse. According to the results from the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the LSNS-R explained 0.10 of the variance and LSNS-R friends factor explained 0.10 of the variance. The tobit regression indicated that the contribution of the LSNS-R family size factor to the regression coefficient of the independent variable that affected the HRQoL was $B_T$=2.96, that of the LSNS-R family frequency factor was $B_T$=3.60, and that of LSNS-R friends factor was $B_T$=5.41. Conclusions: Social networks among elderly people had a significant effect on HRQoL and their networks of friends had a relatively higher effect than those of family members.

The Effects of Young Children's Self-esteem and Social Competence on Elementary School Adjustment

  • This study aims to discover how self-esteem and social competence in early childhood affect school adjustment in elementary school. This study used the 7th year (2014) and 10th year (2017) of the panel study on Korean children, which are longitudinal research data from the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE). Pearson's correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were used as the main statistical analysis methods. The analysis was performed using the the Spss 21.0 program. As a result of this study, peer acceptance among early childhood's self-esteem, assertion, cooperation, and self-control among social competence have influences on adjustment to elementary school life. This study is meaningful in that it is a longitudinal study conducted with a time difference for 3 years with the same subjects in order to investigate the influence of the inner factors of early childhood on school adjustment in elementary school.

한국의 보건소 이용률에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors Influencing the Utilization Rate of Public Health Centers in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 전국 보건기관 이용률과 보건기관 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인 중 개인특성과 지역특성변수를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 자료는 개인특성변수 선정을 위해 2016 지역사회건강조사자료를 이용하였고, 지역특성변수는 국가통계포털과 한국환경공단의 대기환경 연보 자료를 이용하였다. 자료 분석은 독립표본 t-test, 분산분석, 다중로지스틱회귀분석을 이용하였고 보건기관 이용률에 대한 개인특성변수와 지역특성변수를 함께 분석하기 위해 다수준회귀분석을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 전체 보건기관 이용률은 25.54%이고 군, 시, 대도시 순으로 나타났다. 다수준회귀분석 결과, 고령지역, 여자, 높은 연령, 낮은 교육수준과 낮은 소득수준, 걷기 실천자, 영양표시 독해자, 우울감 경험자, 고혈압 진단을 받은 자, 건강검진을 받은 자, 필수 의료서비스 미충족자, 배우자가 있는 자, 기초생활수급권자에서 보건소 이용률이 증가하였다. 반면, 스트레스 인지자, 인구 천명당 보건의료인 수가 전국 평균이상이고 보건복지예산 비중과 재정자주도, 그리고 실업율이 평균 이상으로 높은 지역에서 보건소 이용이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 중앙정부와 지자체는 지역보건의료정책 수립시 지역주민의 건강행태와 정신심리적 변수 등 개인특성 뿐 아니라 지역특성 변수들을 포괄적으로 분석하고 동시에 고려하는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.
