고압 인젝터의 동적 거동을 고려한 최적 틈새 조합에 관한 연구 (Selection of Optimum Clearance Considering the Dynamic Behavior of a High-pressure Injector)

  • An injector is a mechanical device present inside the engine. Its main function is to supply an appropriate volume of fuel into the combustion chamber, which is directly related to the overall engine efficiency of a car. During the operation of an injector, a magnetic force lifts the parts of the injector from closed position to open position which generates a horizontal force on the needle. The horizontal force acts on a different position from that of the center of mass of the needle. Therefore, this causes eccentricity in the needle and the generation of a tilting motion during the lifting operation which can result in wear. However, appropriate selection of clearances for these parts can prevent wear. In this study, lubrication analysis is conducted to determine the optimum clearance of parts with sliding motion inside the injector. The height functions are derived considering the dynamic behavior and relative velocity of the parts. Using the derived height function, the pressure profiles are calculated for the lubricated surfaces from the Reynolds' equation. Subsequently, the fluid reaction forces are calculated. The equations of motions are applied to the fluid reaction forces and external forces are solved to calculate the minimum film thickness between each part with variation in the clearances. Finally, the optimum clearances are determined. The effect of the clearances on the behavior of the moving parts is presented and discussed.

신발 굽 높이와 근피로가 젊은 여성의 정적 및 동적 균형에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Shoe Heel Height and Muscle Fatigue on Static and Dynamic Balance in Healthy Young Women)

  • This study aimed to investigate the influence of shoe heel height and muscle fatigue on static and dynamic balance in young women. Thirty women who were used to wearing high heels volunteered to participate in this study. The shoe heel heights were 0 cm and 7 cm. And ankle plantar flexor fatigue was experimentally induced. Static and dynamic balance were measured using the one leg standing test (OLST) and the star excursion balance test (SEBT) in anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral directions, respectively. Values in the OLST (shoe heel height 0 cm, $28.83{\pm}3.24$ sec to $26.12{\pm}6.13$ sec; and 7 cm, $24.75{\pm}7.09$ sec to $16.86{\pm}9.32$ sec) and the SEBT in anterior (shoe heel height 0 cm, $71.02{\pm}4.57%$ to $69.50{\pm}3.66%$; and 7 cm, $64.17{\pm}3.53%$ to $59.61{\pm}4.06%$) and posteromedial (shoe heel height 0 cm, $92.01{\pm}5.61%$ to $90.38{\pm}7.10%$; and 7 cm, $83.09{\pm}7.29%$ to $76.83{\pm}9.28%$) directions were significantly reduced when fatigue-inducing exercise was performed (p<.05). Furthermore, within these parameters, there were significant interaction effects between shoe heel height and fatigue condition (p<.05). These findings suggest that shoe heel height and muscle fatigue contribute to some changes in static and dynamic balance in young women, probably leading to negative effects on physical function during a variety of activities of daily living.

해안지형의 복잡성에 따른 해풍침투 변화가 대기경계층에 미치는 영향 분석 (Impact of the Variation of Sea Breeze Penetration due to Terrain Complexity on PBL Development)

  • In order to clarify the relation between sea breeze penetration and Planetary Boundary Layer development in southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula, several numerical assessments were carried out using atmospheric numerical model WRF(Weather Research and Forecasting). Compared with onset time of sea breeze at eastern coast area(Uljin), the time at southern coast region(Masan) with complex costal line tend to delay for several hours. The penetration patterns of sea breeze between two coastal regions are some different due to the shape of their coastal line and back ground topography. Intensified valley wind due to high topography of lee side of Uljin can help penetration of sea breeze at early time. So penetration of sea breeze at early time often prevent PBL to develop at Uljin and lower PBL height last for a day time. But because of late penetration of sea breeze at Masna, PBL Height dramatically decrease after 1500LST. The distribution of front genesis function based on the heat and momentum variation are explained obviously the sea breeze penetration patterns and agreed well with the PBL height distribution.

기성복의 최적 사이즈 시스템 개발을 위한 연구 - 학령기 여아를 중심으로 - (A Study on Developing the Optimal Sizing System for Ready-to-wear - Based on Elementary School Girls -)

  • The propose of this study is to develop the optimal sizing system of ready-to-wear f3r elementary school girls using a newly invented statistical technique. The body measurements was classified by the method that equalizes the distribution of the subjects using the probability density function, to theoretically systemize a method to determine a size range of ready-to-wear for elementary school girls between 6 to 12 years old. The statistical method were 1) The total of 11 height groups, which size interval from one another is 6 cm that is an average height gap between each age. 2) In order to determine an approximate figure (m ${\times}$ n) to establish the appropriate sizes far each height group that fit to the combinations of bust and hip girth, which based on their means and standard deviations on the probability density curve to produce the standard normal distribution. 3) m and n were aligned by 4cm -the grading increments used for patterns making- and determined the size ranges by confirming the approximate figures of m and n. 4) The representative values were determined by an area ratio calculated by dividing the area determined from the range of bust and hip girth with the representative value. Considering the characteristics of subjects' distribution, the area ratios was used. 5) Weight was calculated by seeking a growth exponent for each age and multiplying it by the number of girls that fit to each size range. As sections that show the highest weight are more likely sought by the consumers, these sections were determined as the optimal size standards. 6) This optimal sizing system consists of sizes determined by the optimal size standards and its sizes are marked with height, bust and hip girth.

철골 트러스 구조의 자동화 최적설계 (The automated optimum design of steel truss structures)

  • Generally, truss design has been determined by the designer's experience and intuition. But if we perform the most economical structural design we must consider not only cross-sections of members but also configurations(howe, warren and pratt types etc.) of single truss as the number of panel and truss height. The purpose of this study is to develope automated optimum design techniques for steel truss structures considering cross-sections of members and shape of trusses simultaneously. As the results, it could be possible to find easily the optimum solutions subject to design conditions at the preliminary structural design stage of the steel truss structures. In this study, the objective function is expressed as the whole member weight of trusses, and the applied constraints are as stresses, slenderness ratio, local buckling, deflection, member cross-sectional dimensions and truss height etc. The automated optimum design algorithm of this study is divided into three-level procedures. The first level on member cross-sectional optimization is performed by the sequential unconstrained minimization technique(SUMT) using dynamic programming method. And the second level about truss height optimization is applied for obtaining the optimum truss height by three-equal interval search method. The last level of optimization is applied for obtaining the optimum panel number of truss by integer programming method. The algorithm of multi-level optimization programming technique proposed in this study is more helpful for the economical design of plane trusses as well as space trusses.

각고조성을 이용한 남해안 여자만 꼬막의 연령과 성장 (Shell Height Frequency using of Age and Growth of Blood Cockle, Tegillarca granosa (Linnaeus) in Yeoja Bay, Southern Coast of Korea)

  • 남해안 여자만에서 출현하는 꼬막, Tegillarca granosa(Linnaeus) 에 관한 연령과 성장에 관하여 연구하였다. 7-8월에 발생한 꼬막 치패는 당해 10월에 각고 약 5.60 mm $({\pm}\;1.07)$로 최초로 나타났으며, 이 후 고수온기에는 급속히 성장하다가 10월 이후 저수온기에는 거의 성장이 정지하였고, 이듬해 수온 증가와 함께 급격히 성장하였다. 꼬막은 발생 후 약 11-15 개월이 경과하는 6-9월에 가장 빠른 성장을 보였고, 이론적 최대각고 (크기) 의 약 29% 정도가 이 시기에 성장하였다. von Bertalanffy 성장식에 적용한 꼬막의 연령별 성장식은 다음과 같이 산정되었다. $I_t(sh_t)=46.1317\;(1-e^{-0.4997(t-0.5828)})$.

저위교합환자의 보철적 접근법과 이론 : Pseudo Class III 교합환자 증례 (The prosthetic approach and principle for an collapsed VDO ; A clinical case of pseudo Class III patient)

  • 진단과 치료과정을 통해서 후천적으로 습득된 부정교합을 가진 부분무치악자 성인에게서, 교합고경을 회복해 줌으로써 3급 부정교합 안모에서 정상교합상태의 안모와 기능을 부여할 수 있었다. 대부분의 부분무치악자에서 치조골의 위축, 그리고 감소된 교합고경 인해 이루어진 부정교합자에게서 교합고경의 수복은 매우 어려운 작업이다. 적절한 안모의 심미는 대체로 interlabial gap이 약 0-2mm일 때 얻어진다. 이것과 함께, 제한된 입술 지지도(lip competence)가 교합고경 수복과 적절한 안모의 심미를 위한 지표로 사용될 수 있다. 소개된 증례의 경우는, 7년 이상의 계속 관찰 결과, 성공적인 치료였다고 판단된다. 교합고경을 증가시킨 경우이긴 하지만, 사실은 원래의 정상 교합고경으로 회복 시켜주었다고 하는 것이 더욱 옳은 표현일 것 같다. 교합고경을 증가시키는 작업은 안모의 수복, 절치부의 외상성 교합을 수정하고 하악을 후퇴시키는데 매우 어렵고도 중요한 일이다. 최종적으로, 3급 부정교합이 수정되고, 적절한 교합고경을 가지게 되었으며, 위축된 구치 무치악부가 rigid support 개념으로 제작된 가철성 의치로 수복되었다. 부분 무치악부를 가진 후천적 부정교합자의 치료의 결과로 획득한 치아 및 안모의 심미와 이것의 장기간 안정성은 다음의 관계를 잘 고려함으로써 지속될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다: 1) 이상적인 교합고경에서의 교합수복, 2) 상,하악골 관계에서 기능적으로 유도되는 최종 교합의 허용, 3) lip competence (입술 적응) 한계 내에서 기능적으로 유도되는 최종교합.

제주 북동부 지역의 지형과 대기변수에 따른 AEP계산의 정확성에 대한 연구 (An Accuracy Estimation of AEP Based on Geographic Characteristics and Atmospheric Variations in Northern East Region of Jeju Island)

  • 풍력발전 단지의 수익성 평가를 위해 연간 에너지 생산량(AEP ; Annual Energy Production)의 계산이 중요하다. AEP를 계산하기 위해서는 바람의 확률밀도함수(PDF ; Probability Density Function)와 풍력발전기의 발전곡선(PC; Power Curve)이 필요하며, AEP 예측의 정확성을 향상시키기 위해서는 허브 높이에서의 PDF예측과 그 높이의 공기밀도에 따른 풍력발전기 PC의 결정이 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 제주도 한동, 평대의 실관측 풍황탑(met mast) 자료를 이용하였으며 풍속의 PDF를 Weibull 분포 함수로 가정 하였고 Weibull 함수의 파라미터의 값이 높이에 따라 변화하는 양상을 확인하였다. Weibul 함수의 계산은 모멘트법과 LN-least법을 사용하였으며, 모멘트법과 LN-least법에 의한 형상계수의 경우 높이의 증가에 따라 변화를 보이지 않았고 평균값에서 ${\pm}0.1$의 변화 패턴을 보였다. 척도계수의 경우 높이가 증가함에 따라 선형적으로 증가하였으며 지형별 분류에 따른 높이별 척도계수의 기울기는 확연한 차이를 보이고 있었다. 60m 높이에서 관측된 바람의 상대도수와 관측 값의 높이 보정에 의한 공기밀도와 일반식에 의한 공기밀도를 각각 계산하여 그 결과에 대응하는PC를 선택하여 AEP차이를 계산하였다.

신장과 체중의 변화가 사구체 여과율에 미치는 영향 (A Study on How Height and Weight Affects Glomerular Filtration Rate)

  • 목적: $^{99m}Tc$-DTPA를 이용한 사구체 여과율 측정에서 신장(Height)과 체중(Weight)의 변동에 따른 사구체 여과율의 변화 정도를 확인하고 표준화된 신체 계측의 중요성에 대해 제고하고자 한다. 실험재료 및 방법: 서울아산병원 핵의학과에 사구체 여과율 검사를 위해 내원한 50명을 대상으로 전자의무기록(EMR)에 기록된 한 달 이내의 신체 계측 값의 변화를 조사하였고, 신장(Height)과 체중(Weight)의 변화 폭이 가장 컸던 값을 기준으로 신장(Height)과 체중(Weight)을 변화시키며 사구체 여과율을 재산출하여 그 변화를 분석하였다. 결과: 신장(Height)이 1cm 증가할 때마다 사구체 여과율은 평균 0.6%씩 감소하였고. 체중(Weight)이 1kg 증가할 때마다 사구체 여과율은 평균 1.6%씩 증가하였다. 결론: 신장(Height)과 체중(Weight)의 오류로 인한 사구체 여과율의 오류를 줄이기 위해서는 신체 계측 방법에 대한 표준화가 필요하며, 신체 계측에 영향을 줄 수 있는 변수에 대한 통제가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Analysis of a Geometrically Asymmetric Trapezoidal Fin with Variable Fin Base Thickness and Height

  • A geometrically asymmetric trapezoidal fin is analyzed using the one-dimensional analytic method. Heat loss and thermal resistance are represented as a function of the fin base thickness, base height, fm shape factor, inside fluid convection characteristic number, convection characteristic numbers ratio, fm length and ambient convection characteristic number. The relationship between the fin base height and the shape factor for equal amounts of heat loss is presented. One of the results shows that the variations of the fm base thickness and the inside fluid convection characteristic number give no effect on the thermal resistance.
