  • For the purpose of decreasing the chair time in implant cases, the time needed to loosening and fastening the screw must be shortened. Nowadays, the two typical designs of screw head are slot and hexa form. This study aimed at the shortening of loosening and fastening time by modifying the slot and hexa form. Total of twelve dentists participate in these experiments, four of them were experienced and eight of them were novice dentists. 1. There were many differences in the speeds of screw loosening and fastening between personal experiences. Experienced dentists are faster than novice dentists. 2. There were many differences in the speeds by angulation of the implant, by the conditions of the muscle tonicity. 3. Revised slot and hexa Heads show the slightly shortened time for acrew looseing and fastening.

  • Background/Objectives: Cancers of the abdominal or pelvic organ rarely metastasize to the cervical lymph nodes. Although it indicates distant metastasis, perceivable prolongation of survival or cure may be possible in selected cases. We sought to identify patients with cervical metastasis from cancers below the diaphragm and identify patients who may benefit from aggressive treatment. Materials & Methods: From 2009 to 2017, patients with pathologically confirmed metastatic cervical lymph nodes originating from below the diaphragm were included for analysis. Patient demographics, cancer characteristics, treatment course, and clinical outcomes were analyzed. Results: 208 patients were identified. Left supraclavicular node (Virchow's node) was the most frequently involved. Irrespective of treatment, survival for uterine cervical and ovarian cancers was significantly longer than that of other primaries. Patients with isolated cervical metastasis (oligometastasis) had significantly longer median survival compared to patients with concomitant bone, lung, brain, and mediastinal metastases. Conclusion: Although cervical metastasis from cancers of the abdominal and pelvic organ represent distant metastasis, patients with uterine cervix and ovary primary and oligometastatic lesions may benefit from aggressive treatment. Prudent patient selection and further investigation is warranted.

  • Malignant triton tumor(MTT) is a rare type of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor(MPNST) with focal rhabdomyoblastic differentiation. MTT constitutes about 5% of all MPNSTs and described the first case of a MTT in a patient with Von Recklinghausen disease by Masson in 1932. MTT is commonly seen in the head, neck, extremities and trunk. It can occur in sporadic form or over a setting of neurofibromatosis-1(NF-1). The diagnosis can be confirmed based on morphologic grounds supported by an immunostain such as S-100 protein. Desmin, myo-D1 and myogenin are immunostains positive for rhabdomyoblasts. MTT has an aggressive biological behavior so prognosis of this rare and highly malignant tumor is poor and optimal treatment remains unclear. But modern treatment consisted of radical excision and postoperative radiotherapy has improved the prognosis of such cases.

  • Two different coverlayers which is useful for an optical buffer and a mechanical protection made of not only UV resin but also polycarbonate coversheet were prepared on small form factor optical disks. Thin coverlayer of 10 ${\mu}m$ and thick coverlayer of 80 ${\mu}m$ were fabricated. 10 ${\mu}m$-thick coverlayer was coated using UV resin material by spin coating method for the flying optical head application. On the other hand, 80 ${\mu}m$-thick coverlayer using coversheet with the resin bonding material was prepared for the non-flying optical head application. Both cases, the thickness uniformity seem to be the primary prerequisite factor, and it was analyzed. Thickness of 10 ${\mu}m$-thick UV resin coverlayer could be controlled within ${\pm}0.2m$ range and 80 ${\mu}m$-thick coversheet could be controlled within ${\pm}3{\mu}m$ range. However, the yield of such thickness tolerance was not good. New design of metal housing holder and polycarbonate outer ring was adopted to diminish the ski-jump phenomenon. Specifically, the polycarbonate outer ring was very effective to reduce the ski-jump. However, it should be careful to maintain uniform edge between disk and ring for the perfect coverlayer.

  • The general flatbed printer system is composed of a PC and a dedicated S/W, which is inconvenient to use. In the end, there is a need for a technology that can easily and conveniently use various types of printing through simplification, smartization, etc. of a flatbed printer system configuration. That is, there is an increasing demand for multi-dimensional printer capable of printing on various types of materials with one printer and capable of printing various types of products. Therefore, in this paper, we developed a flatbed printer system capable of multi-dimensional printing using Head Encoder/Trigger control. To this end, we developed a flatbed printer that connects the internal module of the flatbed printer with an input type detection sensor and controls all operating states by the head encoder and head trigger signals of the printer through separate main controllers. Through this, the development and diffusion of IoT technology will expand the printer control of the smart environment to the developed form throughout the industry. It is expected to contribute to the development of the 3D printing industry in the future.

  • This study analyzes the form of sleeve heads, which is an important internal element that affects the appearance of jacket sleeves. It characterized sleeve head forms by investigating angles, materials, and a combination of formations for 50 sleeve heads. It conducted an appearance evaluation by comparing and analyzing the results. This paper develops a sleeve head appropriately for sleeve construction. The study results are as follows. First, the product was divided into three parts: based on, force receiving, and sleeve cap parts. There were four types of man's sleeve head: straight, arc, and curve A and B types. The woman's sleeve head had two types: straight and curve B type. Second, the feature of each type of sleeve head was analyzed. A straight type emphasized the based on part. An arc type highlighted the force receiving part while the based on part decreased. The sleeve cap part, force receiving part, and based on part were emphasized in the arc type sleeve head. Third, as a result of the appearance evaluation, each type was rank as straight type < arc type ${\leq}$ curve A < curve B. The straight type did not get positive results as it had extra ease when the sleeve head was attached to a Jacket Sleeve. The arc type was evaluated poorly due to an inappropriate sleeve cap composition. The curve type received an excellent overall outcome as it fit into the sleeve cap part well and highlighted the force receiving part in order to minimize front and back wrinkles. Therefore, the curve type made the resemblance of the jacket appearance perfect and closest to the sleeve pattern.

  • Angioleiomyoma is benign smooth muscle tumor originating from the vascular wall. While they can occur in various anatomical locations, they are rarely reported in the vallecula region of the oropharynx. We present a case of a 58-year-old female patient with a five-year history of progressive dysphagia and throat discomfort. Laryngoscopy revealed a large, soft, mobile mass located on the right side of the vallecula. Radiological imaging further characterized the lesion as a well-circumscribed, heterogeneous mass. Surgical intervention in the form of Transoral Videolaryngoscopic Surgery (TOVS) was performed, leading to the successful removal of the mass. Histopathological analysis confirmed the diagnosis of angioleiomyoma.

  • This study considers expression techniques and aesthetic values in the images of head dress reflected in a natural motif. The conclusions of the study are as follows. The first type is the realistic expression (52.4%) such as the reproduction of a natural object's essential form (27.0%), the partial derivation of the natural object (19.3%), and the planarization for the actual image of the natural object (6.1%). The second type is a metaphorical expression (39.0%) which emphasizes the morphological characteristics of nature (18.2%), the structuration of the natural object's silhouette into a three-dimensional or two-dimensional form (11.5%), and the abstract expression of the form in the natural object (9.3%). The third type is a hybrid expression (8.6%) that is a compromise between practical (or metaphorical expressions) so that expression techniques represent a compromise between the natural object's essential form and abstract expression (4.6%) or the combination of the natural object's silhouette into a three-dimensional or a two-dimensional visualization (4.0%). Aesthetic head dress values reflected in the natural motif first indicate a primitive value. This state of natural instinct recreates the natural object or combines part of the biological elements of the natural object to create an inducement to escape from the practical world. The second is amusement in the expression of animals in dynamic and humorous forms creates an illusion of animals being alive with a representative playful enjoyment. The third is abstraction that grant freedom in the observer's aesthetic rational through a reinterpretation of the fashion designer. The fourth is eclecticism where a compromise represents an act of mixing a variety of independent factors to create harmony with the imagery of nature created through the grafting of diverse expression techniques that break away from stereotypes of existing natural objects to create a type of nature that cultivates new values.
