  • This paper deals with the electric field sensor. A capacitive voltage sensor is designed and manufactured for measuring the very fast transients generated by operating disconnection switch in GIS. It is certified that the voltage sensor has a good specific characteristic in high frequency domain and is able to measure the very fast transients included the harmonic components of 200[MHz].

  • In this paper, apply the regularities of the fractional Poisson kernels, we establish the Sobolev type trace inequalities of homogeneous Besov spaces, which are invariant under the conformal transforms. Also, by the aid of the Carleson measure characterizations of Q type spaces, the local version of Sobolev trace inequalities are obtained.

  • Let ${\tau}\;{\neq}\;\delta_0$ be either a power bounded radial measure with compact support on the unit disc D with $\tau(D)\;=\;1$ such that there is a $\delta$ > 0 so that ${\mid}\hat{\tau}(s){\mid}\;{\neq}\;1$ for every $s\;{\in}\;\Sigma(\delta)$ \ {0,1}, or just a radial probability measure on D. Here, we provide a decomposition of the set X = {$h\;{\in}\;L^{\infty}(D)\;{\mid}\;lim_{n{\rightarrow}{\infty}}\;h\;*\;\tau^n$ exists}. Let $\tau_1$, ..., $\tau_n$ be measures on D with above mentioned properties. Here, we prove that if $f\;{in}\;L^{\infty}(D^n)$ satisfies an invariant volume mean value property with respect to $\tau_1$, ..., $\tau_n$, then f is n-harmonic.

  • A signal processor for interferometeric fiber optic sensors, which measure dynamic quantities of frequency up to 1 KHz with high sensitivity, is developed. It is a high-speed version of the all-digital phase tracking (ADPT) processor that was used to measure static or slowly-varying quantities. The processor was applied to a fiber optic Mach-Zehnder interferometer to evaluate the performance. The measured total harmonic distortion was near to -50 ㏈, which is the theoretical limit or the ADPT signal processing.

  • Modern loudspeaker systems are changing an active loudspeaker system that have multiple input channels and power amplifier. So, we cannot measure these active loudspeakers with IEC 60268-5 standard. This paper introduces an IEC 60268-21 standard that can measure an active loudspeaker having many analog and digital and wireless or wired inputs and having various control parameters.

  • We exhibit various properties of the weighted Berezin operator Tα and its iteration Tkα on Lp(𝜏), where α > -1 and 𝜏 is the invariant measure on the complex unit ball Bn. Iterations of Tα on L1R(𝜏) the space of radial integrable functions have performed important roles in proving 𝓜-harmonicity of bounded functions with invariant mean value property. We show differences between the case of 1 < p < ∞ and p = 1, ∞ under the infinite iteration of Tα or the infinite summation of iterations, most of which are extensions or related assertions to the propositions of the previous results.

  • This study proposed a design of a portable device for measuring heart rate using photoplethysmograph signal to minimize load of a nurse increased from insufficiency of an internal hospital nurse, and algorithm to measure reliable heart rate in PPG signals despite the existence of patient's motion artifacts. The proposed method for measuring heart rate is the method to minimize the motion interference by using the adaptive filter based on harmonic characteristic of PPG signal. To evaluate the performances of the a portable device implemented by the proposed method, we used several motion artifacts including finger and wrist movements; we then compared out results with the performance of the moving average filter. In this results, the proposed method showed a better performance than that of the moving average filter. Therefore, when nurses use the a portable device for measuring heart rate proposed in this study, it will enable to improve nurse work and to measure the reliable heart rate.

  • This paper describes an advanced measuring method and precise evaluation of the ground resistance for the grounding system of energized substations and power equipments. A grounding system of substations consists of all interconnected grounding connections of grounded conductors, neutral ground wires, underground conductors of distribution lines, cable shields, grounding terminals of equipments, and etc. It is very difficult to measure the accurate ground resistance of the grounding terminals of equipments, and etc. It is very difficult to measure the accurate ground resistance of the grounding system of high voltage energized substations because of harmonic components caused by switched power supplies or overloads. The conventional fall-of-potential method may be subject to big error if stray ground currents and potentials are present. In this work, to improve the precision in measurements of the ground resistance by eliminating the effects of harmonic components and stray currents and potentials, the investigations of the ground resistance measurement by using a low pass filter in a model energized grounding system were conducted. The accuracy of ground resistance mesurements was evaluated as a function of the ratio of the test signal to noise (S/N). The errors due to the proposed ground resistance measurement method were decreased with increasing S/N and were less than 5[%] as S/N is 10. The proposed ground resistance measurement method appears to be considerably more accurate than the conventional fall-of -potential method. It is allows cancellation of the parasitic resistance of energized grounding systems, to employ the measurement method that allows cancellation of the parasitic effects due to other circulating ground currents and ground potential rises in practical situations.

  • The fact that material degradation can be evaluated by measuring nonlinear acoustic effect has been proposed by previous studies. The most conventional method to measure nonlinear acoustic effect is to measure the absolute magnitude of fundamental and $2^{nd}$ order harmonic frequency component in the propagated ultrasonic wave. For this aim, power spectral analysis technique has been used widely. However, the power spectral analysis has fatal disadvantage that the gaussian additive noise superimposed in the wave signal remains in the power spectrum domain. Moreover, the magnitude of $2^{nd}$ order harmonic frequency component generated by nonlinear effect is so small that it may be suppressed by the noise remained in the power spectrum. In order to overcome this problem, this paper proposes an alternative method using bispectrum analysis, which can reduce the effect of addictive gaussian noise and. the nonlinear parameter can be obtained more stably. Simulations showed that the proposed method can obtain the value of nonlinear parameter near to the true value in the case of low SNR signal. Also, in order to confirm the usefulness of our method in actual case, we compared the nonlinear parameter obtained by using both of power spectral and bispectral analysis for several specimen intentionally degraded by fatigue load.

  • In this paper, we briefly introduce the micro-vibration test bench of KARI and the test and analysis method of RWA(Reaction Wheel Assembly) micro-vibration. The micro-vibration of RWA is measured on a KISTLER dynamic plate which can measure the time signal of 6 DOF simultaneously up to 400Hz. Measured data are extensively evaluated with respect to the wheel spin rate to identify the complicate wheel dynamic characteristics, and the static/dynamic unbalances are estimated from the extracted first harmonic component as a part of evaluation process. The estimated static and dynamic unbalances. 0.79gcm and 17.4gcm² respectively. The structural resonance mode and two rocking modes observed as a results of its frequency analysis. Several higher order harmonic components observed, which come from its rotor shape as well as the wheel bearing characteristics.
