This study was carried out to examine the level and relevant factors of influencing quality of lift of Hair Designer and to provide basic data to prepare intervention program for them. The data were collected from 733 Hair Designer who worked in beauty shops located in big and small cities including Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Daejon, Gwangju, Gyeongju, Changwon, Andong, using self-administered questionnaire for four months from February to June 2005. The results of this study show that the level of quality of life of Hair Designer are lower than one of workers in other jobs. Particularly, there is a close relationship quality of life, and that the lower the income and the shorter working hours, the lower the level of quality of life. Thus, the health promotion and education program to improve the quality of life of Hair Designer should be developed considering working conditions.

Most of employees in service area frequently and strongly experience job-stress caused by emotional labour than in general. This job-stress is supposed to incur employees' burn-out, which burn-out brings a lower service quality in various aspects of physical and spiritual hospitality. The purpose of this study is to identify the impacts of burn-out on emotional labour of hair designer, with 155 primary data from a sample of 200 employees of hair shop in Seoul and Gyeongnam area. The reliability and validity of the collected data were checked through the calculation of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and factor analysis. The empirical research made by regression analysis confirms that emotional labour significantly has a negative effect on burn-out of hair designer. Therefore, hypothesis presented to mediate the effect of burn-out on emotional labour of hair designer was supported in positive. Hopefully, this study contributes to hair business shops for setting up a management strategy on effective job-satisfaction of hair designer.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of job stress of hair designers on flourishing, and to verify whether work engagement and career commitment have dual mediating effects. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 177 hair designers of various positions who are engaged in domestic B brand, and the relationships of variables was verified using statistical package SPSS 21.0 and SPSS Process Macro v. 3.3. The research model of dual mediating effect was demonstrated. First, it was confirmed that the job stress of the hair designer had a negative effect on the flourishing through the simple regression analysis. Second, job stress had a negative indirect effect on flourishing showing the dual mediating effect of work engagement and career commitment, and the direct effect of job stress of hair designers on flourishing turned out to be insignificant confirming a complete double mediating effect. These results means, job stress reduces successively job engagement, career commitment and finally harms the well-being of hair designer.

Hair styling has a significant influence on human social perception. An increasing number of people are learning hair styling and obtaining hair designer licenses. However, it takes a considerable amount of money and time to learn professional hairstyle and beauty techniques for hair styling. Since COVID-19, there has been a growing need for offline and video lectures due to the decline in onsite training opportunities. This study provides a field practice environment in which real hair beauty is performed in a virtual space. Further, the hairstyle that is most similar to the user's hair taken with a webcam or mobile phone is determined through an image matching system using the speeded up robust features (SURF) method. The matching hairstyle was created into a three-dimensional (3D) hair model. The created 3D hair model uses a head-mounted display (HMD) and a controller that enables finger tracking through mapping to reproduce the haircutting scissors' motion while providing a feeling of real hair beauty.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the sensation seeking and body image on female adolescents' clothing behavior and hair style attitude. The data was collected from 390 high school girls living in Seoul, via a self·administered questionnaires, and were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, reliability test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. The results of this study was as follows : 1) Three factors of body images were self appearance evaluation, appearance orientation and fitness orientation. Five factors of clothing attitudes were fashion/clothing interest, clothing exhibition, social approval, psychological dependence on clothing and fashion leadership. And three factors of hair style attitudes were interest in hair style, individuality in hair style and dependency on hair designer. 2) As the result of analyzing the effects of sensation seeking and body image on clothing behavior, fashion/clothing interest was explained by appearance orientation and fitness orientation, and clothing exhibition by sensation seeking and appearance orientation, and social approval by appearance orientation, self appearance evaluation and body cathexis, and fashion leadership by appearance orientation, fitness orientation and self appearance evaluation, and clothing conformity to the self-entertainer by appearance orientation, sensation seeking and fitness orientation, and appearance related delinquency by sensation seeking, appearance orientation, fitness orientation, self appearance evaluation. 3) As the result of analyzing the effects of sensation seeking and body image on hair style attitudes, interest in hair style was explained by the factors such as appearance orientation, sensation seeking, fitness orientation, and body cathexis, and individuality in hair style by appearance orientation, sensation seeking and self appearance evaluation, and dependency on hair designer by body cathexis.

Improving work efficiency and satisfying customers through personalized services is becoming more important in an increasingly competitive hair industry. Wearables may help to improve hair designers' work efficiency and customer satisfaction by analyzing customer and hair designers' conditions and provide hair stylingrelated data. However, there is limited research on developing wearables for hair designers (WHDs), and many existing wearables were developed without understanding user needs and perceptions. This research investigated preferences, perceptions, and intentions on WHDs based on hair designers in the U.S., which is the largest hair market. Specific design options that hair designers preferred and possible options to meet requirements that hair designers expect for wearables were identified and suggested in WHD design guidelines. Second, most people preferred a WHD design of a black-colored bracelet/watch that can be a necklace designed with preferred functions; in addition, 3D virtual images and 3D printed models were prototyped. Third, developed designs were evaluated. More than 70% of users were satisfied and considered it as useful and easy to use, with an intention to purchase. The results are expected to provide insights to designers when developing WHDs.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of job commitment and the moderating effect of job burnout on the relationship between the protean career orientation and subjective career success of hair designers. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 163 employees working at a representative A brand hair salon in Korea, and statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS 21, and SPSS Process Macro v. 3.3. The results of this study are as follows: First, Protean career orientation affects job commitment to focus on oneself in all aspects related to their job, and as a result, it has a mediating effect on subjective career success that satisfies their career. Second, Through the interaction between protean career orientation and job burnout, the moderating effect on job commitment was confirmed. The significance of this study is to suggest a career success plan for hair salon workers with relatively high turnover rate in the service field by dealing with the understanding of the hair salon organizational culture and the lack of hair designer protean career orientation in terms of the mediating role of job commitment and job burnout in career success.

Hair cut is one of the best useful technical tool for hair styling. In this study using the rule of the layers of hair design, balanced for visual art, perceptual ability and form created by the principles of analysis and offer hair cuts and hair design of the representation of regions and even hair design as the basis of a student of Hair Beauty and all the people working in the field can create a variety of hair design puts the purpose to establish a basis. The result of this study can be outline as follows: First, the step line and the movement of the relationship between the law of the layers above and below the length of the same layer techniques, the same consists of a vertical cross-section of the overall round shape of the cut same layer is created and the appropriate volume and movement, the movement of low-layer round a little bit more feeling and expression is used when you want. A hair designer, a layer style to create a zone he thought the law of the first layer formative area To further the reach will be a lot of research, leading up formative aspects of this research thesis do not have missing parts, or as a result of the Beauty of Hair Design and the width of a hair design education in the field can perform to help feed the reference materials that will be.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends and features of male fashion and hair style image and thereby, determine the relationship between fashion and hair styles, and thus, provide for some basic data for future studies about male hair styles as well as for new male hair style trends. For this purpose, relevant literature was extensively reviewed including some visual materials. The major references for this study were domestic and foreign books, journals and preceding studies about fashion and hair. The visual materials referred to for this study were domestic magazines specialized in fashion and hair, visual data supplied by hair product brands, Korea Beauty Parlor Journal, Beauty and Cosmetic Newspaper, Beauty Today, and such fashion special websites as $S{\cdot}F{\cdot}I,\;C{\cdot}F{\cdot}T$, firstview.com, fashionwide.com, etc. Based on the results from a questionnaire survey of master or Ph degree holders of apparel science, reputed designer were sampled and then, 80 works were finally sampled from their collections published between January, 2002 and April, 2005. As a result of analyzing the images shown in modern male apparel and hair style fashions by classifying them into natural, restored, folklore and eclectic ones, it was confirmed that both male apparels and hair styles have been reinterpreted in modern terms depending on social and cultural settings to be expressed as new styles, and in particular, that male hair styles have evolved diversely into new styles depending on fashion tendencies, while having been versatile in some relationships with their fashion tendencies.

This study aimed to evaluate musculoskeletal workload associated with the work of hair designers, to identify the factors associated with work-related stress, depression and musculoskeletal symptoms in Hair Designers, and to check the painful areas based on patients who complained of musculoskeletal symptoms. The data were collected from 279 hair designers in Daegu metropolitan city from February 1 to August 31 of 2009. A summary of the results was as follows : According to work-related stress in study subjects, the degree of stress load was relatively higher in association with the working demand, the relational conflicts and the organizational culture, but the degree of stress was found to be relatively lower in association with the physical environment, work-related autonomy, an insufficient compensation and an occupational instability. People engaged for beauty business have gotten lots of stress because of the endless needs from customers, the pressure of the learning new skills and the uncomfortable working environment. These are able to cause the musculoskeletal disorder. Under this circumstance, small fries do not have any prevention managements for improving the musculoskeletal diseases and they are not afforded to have regular checkup. When teaching the people related with beauty business, it is necessary to provide accurate information like correct carriage to reduce musculoskeletal disorder stress.
