의료진의 인지된 서비스품질이 환자와 보호자의 서비스 인식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality on service perception of patients and guardians)

  • In this study, we examined the effects of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality(E-PSQ) on patients' perceived service quality(P-PSQ) leading to patients' satisfaction(P-CS) and the effects on guardians' perceived service quality(G-PSQ) also leading to guardians' satisfaction(G-CS). To investigate the causalities of the factors, we collected national wide samples of 144 hospitals, 721 healthcare staffs, 1456 patients, and 1455 guardians of the patients. Followed were contributions of this study. First, healthcare staffs and patients were commonly related by service quality, which meant the increase of healthcare staffs' perceived service quality led to increase of patients' perceived service quality. Second, healthcare staffs and guardians of patients were also related by perceived service quality. Third, patients' perceived service quality would lead to service satisfaction of patients, Fourth, guardians' perceived service quality would also lead to service satisfaction of guardians. The findings implied service managers of hospital settings should pay attention to healthcare staffs' perception of service quality as well as those of patients and guardians. With such strategy, hospitals could survive the drastically changing environments of current healthcare service area.

서비스품질 차원이 의료서비스 만족에 미치는 영향에 있어서 환자가 보호자의 차이 (The Differences between Patients and Guardians in the Impacts of Service Quality Factors on Overall Satisfaction of Medical Treatment Service)

  • In this study, we investigated the effects of service quality factors on overall satisfaction of medical treatment service. Especially, we focused on the differences between patients and guardians in impact of service quality factors. The data was gathered by using a structured questionnaire from 220 patients and 220 guardians. Based the factor analyses, we derived the five factors of medical service quality-process, speciality, kindness, convenience of facilities, and cleanness. Then, we examined the effects of the five service quality factors on guardians' satisfaction as well as on patients' satisfaction. The results of the empirical study showed that the kindness is more important to patients than to guardians whereas the speciality is more important to guardians than to patients.

의식하 진정법에 관한 보호자의 인식도 및 만족도 조사 (A SURVEY OF GUARDIANS' COGNITION LEVEL AND SATISFACTION RATE ABOUT CONSCIOUS SEDATION)

  • 본 연구는, 보호자가 바라보는 진정법의 모습과 이를 통해 보호자들이 얻고자 하는 것과 원하는 것이 무엇인지를 알고 보호자들의 높은 만족도와 능동적인 협조를 이끌어 내기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 2006년 7월부터 9월까지 경희대학교 병원 소아치과에 내원한 신환 보호자 168명과 의식하진정법을 경험한 환자의 보호자 50명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 신환 보호자용과 진정법 경험 보호자용으로 제작하여 설문을 실시하였다. 조사결과 다음을 알 수 있었다. 1. 일반적인 의식하진정법에 대한 정보의 제공이 주로 주변 사람들에 의해 제한적이고 수동적으로 이루어 졌으며, 비전문적인 성향임을 알 수 있었고, 또한 소아치과 진료영역에서의 의식하진정법에 대한 정보의 제공이 부족함을 알 수 있었다. 2. 신환 보호자와 진정법을 경험한 환자 보호자 모두에서 환아의 공포감 감소에 가장 큰 관심을 가지고 있었다. 3. 행동 개선보다는 환아의 심리적 개선에 있어 보호자가 느끼는 만족감이 크며, 따라서 진정법 시 행동 개선의 목적 보다는 환아의 공포감 및 불안감 감소에 초점을 두어야 겠다. 4. 신환 보호자의 경우 진정법의 안정성에 대한 인식이 정립되어 있지 않았고, 진정법을 경험한 보호자의 경우 모르겠다는 것과 불안하다는 대답이 대부분을 차지하여 경험을 하였음에도 올바른 안전성에 대한 인식을 하지 못하고 있었다.

초등학생 이하 자녀의 항생제 복용에 대한 보호자 인식조사 (Survey Analysis of Guardians' Understanding on The Antibiotic use for Their Children Under Elementary School Age)

  • The objective of this study was to find out guardians' understanding on the antibiotic use for their children under elementary school age. Survey analysis was performed on 671 questionnaire response sheets from the guardians for children ($\leq$13 years old) attending daycare centers, kindergartens, or elementary schools located in eastern part and vicinity of Seoul, Korea. Result showed that majority of the guardians did not follow right direction for the use of antibiotic medications. About 80% of the guardians discontinued or reduced dosage of the antibiotic medications if symptoms relieved, and about 66% of them administered the drug always after meal although interval was not consistent. Furthermore, only one-fifth of the guardians understood right indication of antibiotic medications that it is of no use to take antibiotics for the treatment of common cold. About 65% of the guardians participated in this study responded that they received drug information for antibiotic medications from doctors or pharmacists. However, in terms of knowledge score regarding antibiotic drug use, their score was significantly lower than that of guardians who received the information from internet or mass media. This result suggests that patients counsel is not efficiently being practiced among healthcare professionals in the region surveyed in this study. Therefore, in conclusion, it appears that community pharmacists need to be more interactive in patients counsel when they dispense antibiotic medications.

  • Purpose : Analyze the types of hospitalization for mental illness of mental health law, and the contents of hospitalization for legal guardians. Method : Review the previous studies from the provisions and academia of the current legislation such as the Mental Health law and the Habeas Corpus law conducting research. Result : Mental health law and habeas corpus law appears the problem in terms of current legislation. The problem of the scope and priorities of legal guardians, and the period of hospitalization, and economic issues appear in the mental health laws. Conclusion : must a lively discussion for the development of hospitalization for legal guardians. also necessary to switch the social awareness for mental illness patient.

  • 2013년 7월부터 판단능력이 불충분한 요보호성년자를 보호하고, 그들이 통상적인 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 성년후견제도를 시행한다. 이미 성년후견제도를 시행하고 있는 일본에 대한 분석을 통하여 그 국가에서의 문제점 및 해결방안을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하며, 이것을 통해 한국에서 최적의 제도를 실현할 수 있는 기반을 사전에 마련할 필요가 있다. 성년후견제도의 성공적인 정착을 위해서는 무엇보다 양질의 후견인 확보가 필수적이며, 특히 최근에 성년후견제도의 '사회화'가 지향됨에 따라 시민후견인의 중요성은 더욱 증대되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일본 최고재판소의 성년후견관계사건을 분석하여 성년후견인의 유형 동향을 살펴보고, 시민후견인을 중심으로 그것에 대한 활성화 방안을 도출하였다.

충북지역 취약계층 아동을 위한 가정배달 반찬도시락의 섭취현황 및 만족도 (Intakes and Satisfaction of Home-delivered Meal Box for Children from Low-income Families in Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea)

  • The aims of this study were to investigate usage status, menu preference, quality evaluation and satisfaction of home-delivered meal box for children from low-income families in Chungcheongbuk-do, Korea. A total of 320 children and their guardians who had received home-delivered meal boxes participated in 2015. A total of respondents (62.2%) were children and teenagers, and 37.8% were guardians. The 47.7% of children and 43.8% of guardians were using the home delivery service more than one year. Most of the children and guardians answered 'eat almost', 'eat all meals' served meal box, 75.3%, 81.8%, respectively. After receiving the meal box at home, 35.2% of children consumed meals within 1~2 hours, whereas 32.8% of the guardians were ate within 2~6 hours. It was founded that 'throw away leftovers' was the highest and followed 'give it others' in a way to treat leftovers. The results of preference survey on meats, seafood, showed that 'chicken nugget' (4.07) and 'stir-fried fish cake with vegetable' (3.63) were the highest points for children, whereas 'grilled LA beef ribs' (3.98) and 'stir-fried anchovies' (3.72) were the highest point for guardians. 'Seasoned leaves marinated in soy sauce' was the highest preference among vegetables and another dish for respondents. Frozen products were the most preferred types of meal boxes on the menu. In the quality evaluation of home-delivered meal box, although satisfaction with service and packaging of the meal box were high, the satisfaction of food quality was relatively low.

의료서비스 이용에서 보호자의 서비스품질인식이 환자의 서비스품질인식 및 구매행동의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of guardians' service quality perception on the service perception and behavioral intention of patients in healthcare service)

  • In this study, we examined the effects of guardians' service quality perception(G-SQP) on patients' service quality perception(P-SQP) leading to patients' behavioral intention(P-BI) and the effects of G-SQP on guardians' behavioral intention(G-BI). To investigate the causalities of the variables, we collected national wide samples of 144 hospitals, 1456 patients and 1455 guardians of the patients and analyzed 1146 guardian-patient coupled cases refined with prerequisites such as missing value, outliers, normality and covariance conditions. Followed were contributions of the present study. First, G-SQP was a predictor of P-SQP. Second, in the first contribution statement, there was no statistically significant difference between inpatient and outpatient group. Third, proven was that G-SQP was a predictor of G-BI. Fourth, verified was that P-SQP was a predictor of P-BI. Fifth, G-SQP was a predictor of P-SQP being led to P-BI that meant P-SQP had a mediating role between G-SQP and P-BI. Since the guardians' perception affected patients' buying decision, the present study implied service managers of hospital settings should pay attention to guardians' perception of service quality as well as patients'. With such strategy, hospitals could improve financial performance in long-term.

뇌졸중환자 보호자의 삶의 질과 관련 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Quality of Life and Related Factors of Cerebral Infarction Patients' Guardians)

  • This study is about the quality of life of cerebral infarction patients' guardians. The subject of this study was a group of 159 guardians of patients diagnosed of cerebral infarction and being hospitalised in a general hospital located in Seoul. The measurement tool consisted of quality of life of cerebral infarction patients' guardian, self-esteem, burden of responsibility, family unity, health status of the guardian. The collected data have been processed using SPSS/PC 12.0 programme: The results of this study are as follows: 1. The point for quality of life of cerebral infarction patients' guardians was 3.08(five-point scale), and for the related factors, the points for self-esteem was 3.67, burden of responsibility was 3.26, family unity was 4.13, health status was 6.10(ten-point scale). 2. There was a significant difference in the quality of life according to Self-esteem, Burden of responsibility, Family unity and general characteristics. 3. In the quality of life of cerebral infarction patients' guardians, a positive correlation was noted in some factors according to the characteristics of the guardians such as health status, self-esteem, family unity, monthly income, and time spent for caring the patient. Whilst a negative correlation was noted in the others such as burden of responsibility and age of the guardian. By confirming the results above, it is concluded that we must understand the major factors which are related to quality of life, find the causes that deteriorate the quality of life, and apply proper nursing intervention to improve the quality of life of cerebral infarction patients' guardians.

진단검사 전 처치로 실시하는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 환아 보호자의 인식도와 간호요구도, 간호만족도 (Awareness, Nursing Needs, and Nursing Satisfaction on Conscious Sedation as a Pretreatment for Diagnostic Tests in the Guardians of Hospitalized Children)

  • 본 연구는 환아 보호자를 대상으로 진단검사 전 처치로 실시하는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도와 간호요구도, 간호만족도를 확인하고 변수들 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 D시에 있는 C대학병원 소아청소년과 병동에 입원하여 진단검사 전 처치로 의식하 진정요법을 받는 환아의 보호자 120명이다. 연구결과 대상자의 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도는 비교적 낮은 편이었고(2.49±0.83), 간호요구도(4.53±0.40)가 간호만족도(3.81±0.56)보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p<.001). 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식도는 간호만족도와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었고(r=.18, p=.048), 간호요구도와 간호만족도도 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다(r=.20, p=.033). 의식하 진정요법에 대한 대상자의 간호만족도를 높이기 위해서는 의식하 진정요법에 대한 인식 정도와 간호요구 영역들을 먼저 확인하여 대상자의 요구를 기반으로 하는 맞춤형 간호중재가 제공되어야 할 것이다.
