In this paper, we studied the consciousness of Fisheries high school students Through these kinds of works, this paper will focus on how to activate the Fisheries high school in Kyungbuk province. Primarily, research of the consciousness of people living in the fisheries community of the Kyungbuk coast has been engaged in fisheries. Secondly, research is done the consciousness of Fisheries high school students. Thirdly, research of consciousness of neighboring middle school teachers. Finally, searching for reform measures toward activating Fisheries high schools in the whole country. The conclusions of the study were as follows: First, the proper view of fisheries should be settled again. The understandings of basic knowledge about maritime affairs and fisheries in the stages of elementary schools and middle schools are needed. Secondly, in order to find a way out of the difficulties in fishering villages, governmental financial support has to be presente. from the view of fisher folks who are engaged in the fisheries. Thirdly, larger portions of economic value should be allocated to fisheries villages by improving fisheries structure of the fishery. Actually, lower incomes have burdened fisheries villagers with more debts. Fourthly, academic and care counseling must concentrate on the diversification of courses after graduation from fisheries high schools. Realistically, students of fisheries high schools are longing to enter into universities. Fifthly, reorganization of specialized highschool systems, changes of titles of schools and reconstruction of departments should be steadily carried out. Finally, high morale of fisheries highschool teachers should be revised using various steps. They didn't appear to be proud of their teaching jobs. Supervisors ought to exchange their opinions with teachers for the purpose of development of fisheries high schools.
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to explore the socio-psychological coping process and experiences of families before and after institutionalization by applying the Corbin and Strauss ground research method. Method: Data collection from 9 participants with elderly institutionalized dementia with approval from directors of the institute was done by in depth interviews during a seven month period from May, 2003 to December, 2003. Data analysis was done by repeated reading of the transcribed interviews, and 344 concepts and 39 subcategories were generated. Results: Family members of the dementia elderly experienced various degrees of exhaustion, physically, mentally, and socially. The degree of their exhaustion was related to the severity of the family member's symptoms, and length of the dementia. Coping strategies were effected by economic status, social support from blood related families or neighbors, depth of their relationship with elderly institutionalized dementia. They were even affected by the elderly family members institutionalization. Conclusion: After institutionalization participants felt some guilt from not assuming their responsibilities as children. On the other hand they regained privacy, freedom, security, and comfort, so that their life returned to normal. They even felt more comfort because their elderly were living in a safer environment, and received a better quality of care. Participants had better composure, so that they could even take care of neighbors in need. They hope that there is more governmental involvement in terms of subsidy and numbers of institutes. Findings of the study will be a ground for the development of a coping program for families with elderly institutionalized dementia. Further studies are recommended to explore types of family, and to develop programs for the families to help them interact with each other.

Purpose: This study attempted to access the health promotion activities and employee's health promotion needs in workplaces. Methods: Subjects were 280 health care managers employed at small to large scale enterprises in national-wide areas of Korea. The instrument was a structured questionnaire included characteristics of workplace and respondents, health promotion activities, health promotion needs, and bottlenecks to operate programs. Data was analyzed using SAS 8.1 by applying $x^2-test$, t-test and ANOVA. Results: 1, 25.4% of the total workplaces employed health care managers. 2. Musculoskeletal management programs(49.6%) were the highest operating program. 3. The highest needs of health promotion programs were lifestyle management and disease prevention. 4. Health promotion activities were significantly different according to the type and size of workplaces. The programs were more frequently applied in manufacturing industries than non-manufacturing and in large-scale enterprises than small and middle-scale enterprises. 5. The needs of health promotion programs were high in non-manufacturing industries than manufacturing industries in all programs. 6. The major bottlenecks to operate programs were the difficulty in securing time, lack of budgets and lack of legal regulations. Conclusions: Health promotion activities were linked to their work environments including budgets, time, and law. Therefore, to operate effective health promotion programs in workplaces, various health promotion programs are required to be developed and systems for governmental support and management should be established.
In Korea, the Vehicle Dismantler and Recycler industry is supervised by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport under the Automobile Management Act. Also, Korean Automotive recycling businesses are supervised by the Minister of Environment under the Resource Recirculation Act. The main concern of the Minister of Environment is how the wastes from Dismantled vehicles will be environmentally removed, stored, treated, recycled or disposed. In 2000, the European Union (EU) adopted the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive (2000/53/EC) which required Members to ensure the collection, treatment and recovery of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs). The Directive, the most tightly regulated and precautionary legal systems, required that the last owner of a vehicle could drop off the ELV at an authorized treatment facility and that the producers of the ELV should pay the cost of the program. The adoption of the ELVs directive has led the development of Automotive Dismantler and Recycler networks to reuse, refurbish, remanufacture, recycle and recover parts and materials embedded in ELVs. Also, the ELVs directive which has had an insignificant impact on Korean manufacturers has strong presence in the European market and has been successfully externalized on them. The Korean manufacturers not only achieve the 85% recycling target set by the ELVs directive but also meet the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) which requires manufacturers to contribute dismantling process. In order to improve the Korean vehicle dismantling and recycling system, the Automobile Management Act and the Resource Recirculation Act should be harmonized. Particularly the roles of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Minister of Environment should be sharply divided. Like Japan, the ELV management needs to be highly centralized, regulated, and controlled by the ministry specialized in Vehicle, namely the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the sub organizations. Like EU Members, recovery, reuse, and recycling must be distinguished. Recovery is defined as the final productive use of the parts and materials embedded in ELVs, which includes reuse and remanufacture of parts and recycling of the other materials. Dismantling process and reuse and remanufacture of parts must be governed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. For environmental recycling or disposal of waste materials, such as CFCs, glass and plastic material, and toxic substances, governmental financial support system should be in place.
This study suggests the popular culture theory as a basic framework to find out the characteristics of contemporary fashion show meeting the popular culture, and describes that the show is the popular culture of this generation. The culture is the way of our life unifying the world at common area of human being. The popular culture is to subdivide it into the public culture that shares aesthetic taste, and to borrow each other and develop it mutually because of the collapse of dichotomous boundary with high quality culture, and to represent the people’s thought and behaviour expanding their areas. The author has examined the characteristics of popular culture of modern fashion show by four collections, that is, commercialism, mass media, political relationship and interaction, etc: Firstly, at the commercialism, the fashion show combines it with other genre organically to do mass production and sales and produces cultural consumption goods supplying a lot of sight-seeing. Secondly, at the mass media, the image of contemporary fashion show has been spread out with mass media such as fashion magazines, cable TV and Internet beyond time and space to produce advertisement effects and makes new fashion and bring democratic culture. Thirdly, at political relationship, the fashion in its peak can make a big stream of wealth, so that it plays important roles under governmental regulations in this era and governments make efforts to support and develop it. Lastly, at interaction, the fashion show shares media functions to let users participate in the program and to exchange information as a feedback to influence each other.

This study examines the strategies employed by GM, who experienced bankruptcy in 2008. Specifically, we explore the autonomous driving-related technologies and execution, which GM began developing later than other car manufacturing companies. This study found that GM implemented aggressive M&A in search of vertical industrial integration for the development and production of autonomous vehicles. GM selected candidate firms to complement its technological gaps for the development and implementation of the autonomous vehicle. Secondly, GM achieved executive capacity by attempting to build a vertical integration in the wider scope of components, solution, service, and sales. Thirdly, the consistent governmental support and policies, such as the connected car project, M-City, and NCHRP Program expedited the development process. This study provides practical and policy implications for Korean companies and policymakers related to the automotive industry.
Energy use has been recognized worldwide as a main cause of global warming and it is at the center of climate change. In this study, problems and measures of zero-energy building construction are investigated and analyzed. Based on the results, evaluation criteria of the zero-energy building are suggested. Performance related factors(Q) representing the environmental grade were divided into three categories as outdoor, indoor environment and maintenance. Energy related factors(LR) representing the energy load were divided into an energy, materials & resources, water cycle management, land use and transportation. Detailed fifty three items are listed for the evaluation under the consideration of energy, water cycle management sections gave weight. Upon receiving the first in the environment friendly certification system, Seoul Central Post Office and Seoul Metropolitan Water Supply Center evaluated. The reason why this score difference is due to lack of use of new generation energy building construction is required expensive costs so need expansion of governmental support. This effort is successful zero energy building construction and copes with global warming and climate change.
A survey was conducted to investigate the attitudes of public officials related to food hygiene toward food safety. The official groups were divided into four sub-groups based on their area, agency, gender and age. Response of each group to the survey was statistically analysed. The survey's results showed that most of them (87.0%) were satisfied with a domestic level of food hygiene. But, some of then (29.8%) considered unsatisfactoryly on safety of the food they eat. Their response to food safety did not statistically significant between each group of area, agency and age but, in case of gender, female group showed stastically more negative attitude to food safety than male one (P<0.05). All groups chose residues of chemical substances such as pesticides and food additives as the most potential food risk factor followed by foodborne pathogens, heavy metals and animal drug residues. The results are not consistent with the scientific judgement. Therefore, more education and information were needed fro these groups. They pointed out food manufacturer as a responsible group for poor food hygiene (48.7%). In addition, food manufacture and processing were selected as main business types with the lowest level in the food hygiene but official, working in the area of the central government and Seoul metropolitan city, pointed out food services establishments as the poorest hygiene one (P<0.01). This results suggested that education and information to let mind of responded groups change, working in this part, and governmental financial support are needed to improve hygiene level of food manufacture and processing (70.3%). They also chose HACCP as the most effective way for improving the level of food hygiene followed by Recall, PL (Product Liability), monitoring, labeling and increasing of number of company with good manufacture and processing (GMP).
The importance of innovative capability, the driving force behind innovation as a company's intangible resources, is increasing. In general, companies with high innovation capability are more likely to be successful in innovation, which can be expected to have a positive impact on corporate performance. The innovation capacity of SMEs considered in this study is R&D capability and manufacturing capability. The reason for this is that not only the continuous efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs are focused on stabilizing manufacturing capability, but also considering the situation in which governmental support for SMEs' R&D capability has been actively developed. This study examines whether R&D capability and manufacturing capability have a significant influence on corporate performance and securing competitive advantage, and analyzes whether competitive advantage acts as a mediator between innovation capability and corporate performance through regression analysis. SPSS 23.0 software was used for the empirical analysis of the data obtained through the survey. The research results are as follows. First, both R&D and manufacturing capabilities of SMEs were found to have a significant positive effect on corporate performance. Second, manufacturing capability had a significant effect on securing competitive advantage of SMEs, but R&D capability was not significant. Third, the competitive advantage of SMEs was found to play a mediating role between manufacturing capability and corporate performance.
The study result on the domestic waste occurrence and admistration condition of Iksan City as follows ; 1. The year of 1995 has observed a radically decreasing ratio of per capita waste generation compared to the previous year by 26.2%, owing to the publication of the new amendment of volume based charge as well as to the rural population included through the merger of Iksan City and Iksan Country ; the daily quantity of domestic waste for Iksan residents in 1997 was calculated to be $0.66kg/capita{\cdot}day$. 2. Waste generation in nonresidential areas were $8.04kg/capita{\cdot}day$ in average ; the quantity per capita in market places was observed to generate the largest, $36.76kg/capita{\cdot}day$, while that of services was the smallest $0.25kg/capita{\cdot}day$. 3. The average generation per capita of household waste was $0.23kg/capita{\cdot}day$ in the area which has no volume based charge system. This area showed no difference from those of other areas ; the apparent density of the waste recorded the lowest $0.llkg/{\ell}$ for District Offices, while the highest among the classified fields was $0.40kg/{\ell}$ of the Fire Station. 4. Iksan City showed great contribution by decreasing the absolute quantity of waste for landfill by waste classfication, according to the days of the week and reutilizing recyclable waste since August, 1997. 5. Location of a landfill site for disposal of nonrecyclable waste will cause a serious problem to the community and it will be highly recommendable to have governmental support and professtional consultation as well as open discussions, such as hearings, for the settlement of the problem.
