The mature-rated arcade games reproduced in reel game like the sea story in addition to main game and sub-game, causing social confusion in 2006, are waited for the reviewing of 'GRAC'. Although the game is reproduced in poker style as game system, in reel method as game graphic like 'AWP', the Supreme Court's decision is considered as a poker game May 23, 2013 in the past. Moreover, the Supreme Court said that it is not illegal because they decide that game users do not make a great loss in their possessions, without money change. The research tries to find the direction of the reviewing the mature-rated arcade game for guarantee of objectivity and reliability.

  • This study was designed to determine the Internet game and smartphone usage status of senior elementary school students. Data were collected from 6 October 2018 to 30 September 2019, and 1618 subjects were analyzed using SPSS 18.0. As a result of the study, the I-GUESS rating was 6.1% in the high-risk group, and, the S-scale ratios were 10.1% for the potential-risk group and 0.8% for the high-risk group. Physical problems related to Internet games and using smartphones were experienced by 36.0% of the students, with eye fatigue being the highest at 20.4%. Emotional problems were found in 18.5% of the students, with anger being the highest at 6.8%. Social problems were experienced by 21.8% of the students, conflicts with parents being the highest at 10.3%. As a result of surveying the main content based on S-scale and I-GUESS, it was found that the higher the S-scale ratio and the I-GUESS rating, the more broadcast content was used. The correlation between I-GUESS rating and S-scale ratio showed that the higher the I-GUESS rating, the higher the S-scale ratio, and the higher the S-scale ratio, the higher the I-GUESS rating. Future research is necessary to develop an intervention program for elementary school students from a preventive perspective.

  • Among the cultural industries, the game industry is the most economically valuable industry. It has been about twenty years since the game policy has been implemented and the game laws have been enacted. If the law is a willing expression for the realization of the policy, the orientation of the game policy can be grasped through revision of the game laws. SOUND RECORDS, VIDEO PRODUCTS, AND GAME SOFTWARE ACT, established in 1999, and GAME INDUSTRY PROMOTION ACT, which was enacted in 2006, are regulated by many revisions. In this paper, I try to understand the direction and meaning of Korean game policy(classification, game dysfunction, gambling, industry growth) through the contents of the revision of the game law for 20 years. The game policy shown through the amendment of the game law is intended to protect the game by regulating the game, and to protect the game user by preventing the gambling and preventing the game dysfunction, and to increase autonomy of users and choice of producers by switching to self rating system, and based on this, an environment for continuous industrial growth is created. In the future, game policies should consider cooperation with social areas beyond game-specific areas. On the other hand, it needs to respond to new agendas such as polarization of industrial structure, fair environment, employment environment.

The Act Bill has a lot of problems which are violations of criminal legalism due to unclear terms in administrative punishment and violations of The Human Right enjoying freedom of occupation and guaranting property due to not defining provisisons about The Duty of Confidentiality or The Legal Fiction as Public Officials for Purposes of Applying Penalty Provisions. also the duplicate regulations in the Act Bill disrupt game industry development. we have three results that were derived through analysis of Prior studies and precedents. The First is to define details of special reasons in enforcement ordinance and enforcement regulations. The Second is to define The Duty of Confidentiality or The Legal Fiction as Public Officials for Purposes of Applying Penalty Provisions in the act bill. The Third is to address managing the random reward items in the Game Rating and Administration Committee or is to give game user advance notice about the Comntent Dispute Mediation system.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the pattern of computer game play and emotional and behavioral characteristics of 5th and 6th grade elementary school children in Jeonju city. Methods : Fifth and sixth graders from two elementary schools (N=413, M=214, F=199) were chosen to participate in this study. The participants completed self-report questionnaires designed by the authors, and were also evaluated based on a computer game addiction scale, state-trait anxiety inventory for children, children's depression inventory and Piers-Harris children's self-esteem scale. The parents of the participants determined the disruptive behavior rating scale of the participants. Results : Positive links were reported between the pattern of computer game play (years of computer game experience, average length of each computer game play session, average time spent on computer game play per day, and average frequency of computer game play per week) and scores of computer game addiction scale. In addition, significant correlation was found between the internalized problems of children (trait anxiety, state anxiety, depression, and self-esteem), and computer game addiction scale score, among both sexes (p<0.01). There were significant correlations between game addiction scale score and inattention (p<0.01) as well as total attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) score (p<0.05) in girls. Conclusion : Our findings suggest that computer game addiction is related to symptoms of internalizing, particularly to the trait anxiety. Significant positive correlations between game addiction scale score and externalized behavioral problems were found only in girls.
