Design and Implementation of Interactive Game based on Embedded System (내장형 시스템 기반 체험형 게임의 설계 및 구현)

  • Embedded System includes touch, GPS, motion, and acceleration sensor, and can communicate with neighbor devices using wireless communication. Because Arduino with embedded system provides good environment for development and application, developers, engineers, designers, as well as artists, students have a great interest. They utilize Arduino in the robot, home appliances, fashion, culture and so on. In this paper, we design and implement a game using Arduino with embedded system which recognizes the human movement by moving away from one-dimensional game of the existing touch method. Implemented embedded system game measures gyro-sensor to recognize human movement and detects the attack success of the opponent by using touch sensor. Moreover, health of the game player is updated in the real time through the android phone-based database. In this paper, implemented embedded system-based game provides GUI screen of android phone. It is possible to select watching mode and competition mode. Also, it has low energy consumption and easy to expand because it send and receive data packet through recent Bluetooth communication.

  • 유 무선환경에서 침입 패턴이 다양화되고, 모바일의 편리성이 강조되면서 네트워크 대역폭이 다양한 전송 기반을 요구하고 있다. 그리고 무선기반의 자료가 급증하고 있어, 무선환경에서의 침입탐지시스템 성능에 문제가 될 수 있다. 그러므로 게이트웨이를 근간으로 한 무선전송 기반을 보호하고, 컴퓨터 운영체제 상에 내재된 보안상의 결함을 보호하기 위하여 기존의 운영체제 내에 보안 기능을 추가한 운영체제이며, 커널의 핵심 부분을 인지하여 무선기반의 시스템 사용자에 대한 식별 및 인증, 강제적 접근 통제, 임의적 접근 통제, 해킹 대응 등의 보안 기능 요소들을 갖추게 하여 보안성에 강한 시스템 유지를 요구한다. 그러므로 감시대상의 정보를 미리 알고, WAP환경하에서 감시대상에 유효한 침입패턴만을 검사하도록 침입패턴 데이터베이스를 분리하는 모델을 제시하여, 이러한 문제점에 대한 해결책을 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서 기존 침입탐지시스템의 패턴 데이터베이스를 분석하였고, 이를 적절히 분리하여 이를 다시 운영체제에 반영하는 기법이다. 그리고 이를 제시한 모델을 검증하고자 실제 구현과 실험을 통해 이를 검증하였다.

  • The game has several genres. Actions, RPGs, FPS, and simulations are diverse, and the game that flows around the story is a game genre that feels like watching a movie on the other. Internet game broadcasters can be thought of as playing a movie in a movie theater when they broadcast a story-type game. The difference with the movie theater is that you can get involved in the story by showing your play directly to viewers. As a broadcasting material, story-type games are a good means, but the fact that the story is published on the Internet in terms of game publishers can have a negative impact on sales revenue as viewers can enjoy the story without purchasing the game. The purpose of this study is to analyze the coordination status between producers and internet broadcasters for story-type games that could be copyrighted and suggest ways to move forward.

  • This paper describes the development of a brickwork game with three-dimensional computer graphics as one of web-based game contents. Client user using web can access and run lava applet program with the independence of hardware system. It consists of graphic user interface module, initial space generation module, event handler module, player control module, and thread control module. It uses 3-D array data structure for the 3-D graphic objects that are located in three-dimensional space for high-speed object searching and sorting. It enhances to compare with predetermined construction in three-dimensional space. We can use the developed racing game to inform game users of information for an advertisement like tourism information, and can apply the proposed 3-D drawing technology to 3-D game graphic engine core.

  • Recently, the Online Game industry has appeared the various change of the development environment in the rapid growth. So the online game company has been trying to search games able to success and they are performing diversified researching to prepare the judgment ground of success from initial stage of development. The aim of this study is to find success factors which is in the process from development to distribute for the online game through collecting opinions of specialist and taking survey to people employed in online game development field. Consequently, we indicate success factors using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and make out success factors for the online games. Furthermore, we suggest the way which is able to apply factors objectified so that exceed the limit of using it to the company planning to develop successful games objectively.

The Effects of School Adolescents' Personal Relationship on Delinquency: Focusing on Mediator Effect of Game Addiction (학교청소년의 대인관계가 비행에 미치는 영향: 게임중독의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to examine the mediate effects of game addiction on the delinquency among school adolescents. In order to achieve the research purpose, secondary data was used which is the data by 8,516 people researched for 'A study on mental health improvement policy for children and adolescents II' among NYPI cross-sectional analysis provided by Korean Children Adolescents Data Archive and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The major findings were as follows. First, the better relationship with family and teachers led to lower level of game addiction and delinquency. However, in terms of relationship with friends, better relationship led to lower level of game addiction but higher level of delinquency. Second, as a result of verifying mediator effect of game addiction by decomposing the effects of relationship with family, teachers and friends on delinquency, they all demonstrated negative mediator effect. Based on the results I discussed social welfare intervention methods for game addiction in order to understand and prevent school adolescents' delinquency.

  • A GUI (graphical user interface) has been a dominant platform for HCI (human computer interaction). A GUI - based interaction has made computers simpler and easier to use. The GUI - based interaction, however, does not easily support the range of interaction necessary to meet users' needs that are natural. intuitive, and adaptive. In this paper, the modified BMA (block matching algorithm) is proposed to track a hand in a sequence of an image and to recognize it in each video frame in order to replace a mouse with a pointing device for a virtual reality. The HCI system with 30 frames per second is realized in this paper. The modified BMA is proposed to estimate a position of the hand and segmentation with an orientation of motion and a color distribution of the hand region for real - time processing. The experimental result shows that the modified BMA with the YCbCr (luminance Y, component blue, component red) color coordinate guarantees the real - time processing and the recognition rate. The hand tracking by the modified BMA can be applied to a virtual reclity or a game or an HCI system for the disable.

  • The game has been rapidly evolving through various media such as computer, console game machine, cellular phone and PMP based on the advanced development of scientific technology. In terms of demand, the interest in and desire to consume the game as a way of spending people's spare time have been on the increase constantly while the level of income has been improved. Eventually, the game has gradually expanded its scope of supply and demand, has established its own status as one of the media that is scientifically-intensive and has been developed into a game industry, a large-scale industry. Unlike image media, the methods of exposure in PPL are varied in accordance with the genre of games. This study divides the causes that have influence over the effect of PPL in the game into the genre of game and the skill of gamer. The results of the experiment on how much the aforementioned two elements have influence over the effect of PPL are as in the following: It has been demonstrated that the effect of PPL could appear different according to the genre of game and the skill of gamer on the game. Besides, the genre of game that is dynamic in its screen change in the game has relatively lower effect of PPL than that is not dynamic. Meanwhile, the persons who are highly skilled in the game have higher degree of recognition and preference to the inserted PPL than those who are lowly skilled. In this regard, it has given us a theoretical ground that the fees system for PPL ads should be established variously in accordance with the genre of game and the level of online game users.

  • 본 논문은 16비트 칼라 LCD 디스플레이 장치를 갖는 휴대용 단말기에 영상을 이용한 그래픽 사용자 인터페이스(Graphic User Interface : GUI)를 제공함에 있어 단말기의 저장 공간을 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 대부분 비손실 영상 압축 기법을 사용하는데, 이들 압축 기법의 압축 효과를 높이기 위한 전처리 과정 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 전처리 과정은 일반적인 칼라 영상의 각 8비트로 구성된 R, G, B 컴포넌트를 16비트로 구성된 RGB 비트 수에 맞도록 원 영상의 칼라를 조정, 16비트로 축소된 칼라 영상에서 사용된 칼라 수를 계산하는 단계 칼라 수가 사용자가 입력한 칼라수의 임계값 보다 작은 경우 인덱스 칼라 이미지를 만드는 단계, 인덱스화된 영상과 칼라 수가 임계값 보다 큰 경우 16비트 칼라 영상을 대상으로 영상을 겹치지 않게 분할하는 단계 분할된 영상의 각 블록 단위로 Run의 평균 개수가 가장 많은 스캐닝 방법을 결정하는 단계 그리고 스케닝 순서에 따른 기존의 비손실 압축 기법을 적용의 순으로 이루어진다. 본 논문에서 기술한 전처리 단계를 거친 영상을 JPEG-LS에 적용하였을 경우 동일한 영상에서 약 $10{\sim}20%$의 압축 효율을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • This study is discussed research on management of items in PC's GUI(Graphical User Interface) environment. A items are general knowledge data like books, musical CD, English CD, and game CD, which are the time when we don't seek the right items in the case of re-reading and re-listening the items. In this paper, We propose an example designed to be used in the management of a items. The proposed example is implemented by educational VC++(Visual C++) programming language. This program and discussions for management of a items will understand the development procedure of searching and storing data, which will provide some basics into designing large database systems.
